Elli Kozak Music

I came to Elli by a referral. He is a fantastic piano teacher, he gave me the opportunity to show what I can play and developed personalized lessons that were suited to my skills and interests. Would recommend for anyone interested in starting or re-starting to play like me.

Elli is an incredibly talented musician and consummate professional. Elli gave an incredible performance, and was kind, punctual, thoughtful, and worked hard to ensure we had a beautiful and meaningful experience for our event.

I had Elli as a teacher for about 2 years and he was best of the best. Despite learning piano since childhood, he's opened my eyes to the world of music and I've become a much more proficient pianist ever since. He's always shared his love of music through his teachings, hoping to share his bit of happiness. He's always encouraged me and never gave up to find the best technique for any piece. He has a great connection with all of his students and is never seen without a smile on his face. Even through online learning he always knew if a technique could be fixed. He's very knowledgable with theory and demonstrates connections between theory and piano playing - especially with his broad knowledge of genres and music history. He is a teacher that I would always recommend for anyone interested in learning piano or theory. Thank you for teaching me:)

Elli is an absolute star. He was able to connect with our then, four year old, in a quick and great way and we have been working with him since. He’s also great with virtual classes and able to connect those dots and accommodate the madness that entails when working with young ones. Totally recommended!

Both my daughter and I have been taking lessons with Elli and we both enjoy it immensely. Elli encourages students to pursue their musical interests and effectively teaches a wide variety of genres, from pop to classical and everything in between. He provides valuable constructive feedback and takes a positive and supportive approach to lessons that makes students feel well-supported in their piano journey. My 11-year-old son had been taking Piano lessons with Elli for a year and he loved it. It was always fun.

Elli has a certain kind of magic in connecting with his student; my son considered Elli to be his best friend and was always looking forward to meeting him (during lessons of course). Elli has the ability of recognizing talents in his student and encouraging them to develop while enjoying the learning. Elli is kind, friendly, warm, funny and patient. He's like family.

It was a gift to have him as our piano teacher. We would love to continue but Elli had to move out of town. If we are ever going to be in the same town again, we'd definitely look him up and pick up Piano lessons from him again!

Elli is an extraordinary piano teacher and we were so lucky to have him teach our 6-year old for a year. By the end of this year, my little one can play simple piano songs by reading notes without looking at the keyboard and his hands! Elli has brought his own edition of pop music adapted to the beginner level so that my little one can now play his favourite Coldplay. But most important is that Elli has an extraordinary patience and exquisite communicative skills and approach to kids. He was always willing to talk with my son about his science projects before they practice and built the great teacher-student relationship with him.

Elli was my favourite teacher! He is very kind, taught well, and it was fun! 10/10 would recommend.

We’ve met Mr. Kozak at Arcadia Academy in Richmond Hill to help our son (9 years old) to continue his piano music lessons online when all schools were closed for in-person lessons in 2020.
Our son is not easy to teach, he doesn’t like repetition or anything competitive, and we were looking for a teacher, who would be able to make piano lessons fun and enjoyable. Mr. Kozak understood our wishes very well and we were happy to see another year full of music in our home. I’m positive that music will remain part of our family. Elli Kozak is a very knowledgeable and professional music teacher. In just 3 months my daughter learned how to read music notes and how to keep time. Elli was very patient while teaching online. Thank you so much Elli!
