Encadrium Picture Framing

I’ve gone to Elizabeth several times now, and am always blown away by the time and care she takes in leading me step by step through the framing process so that I can better understand her advice and suggestions. The finished product is always impeccable.

On my most recent visit, I was curious to try a DIY framing option to keep costs down. Elizabeth ordered and pre-cut all the frame components, gave me all the necessary materials and thorough instruction on how to assemble the frames and float-mount my artwork. Having gone through the very tedious process of doing it myself, my respect for Elizabeth’s framing expertise has multiplied by 1000x!

I’m a broke student but I got my hands on some beautiful archival giclées. I called a bunch of places in the city and there were a couple of places offering cheaper framing options and a couple of places offering more expensive ones. They all sounded rushed/careless over the phone which is fine I’m sure they’re good shops too but I didn’t feel that they would be careful with my art. Even though this place is a bit expensive, seeing how much time Liz took over the phone to explain everything to me made me decide to go here anyway. Choosing the frame was a fun and collaborative process and she took a personal interest in making it look beautiful. The artwork was handled carefully too which I feel that the cheaper spots wouldn’t have done. The frames themselves are gorgeous I’m really happy with the art! I’ll definitely go back here again

She took the time to explain all of my options including things not even on her product list. I had a very enjoyable time and was satisfied with the quality.
