Epicerie De La Rue Couillard

I'm writing this while enjoying jambon & fromage brie sandwich with a poppyseed baguette a few hours after I bought it. IT'S SO GOOD! I'm glad I trusted the good reviews posted here. When I arrived, I couldn't read the menu because it was only in French, and the sandwich station was closed. However, the staff was kind enough to suggest some sandwich options that were available and recommended the jambon sandwich. If you're looking for a quick but decent lunch, this place is the perfect choice.

A street away from the busy tourist area. Terrific deli sandwiches for a quick and tasty lunch. We had a brie and rabbit on baguette and a brie and duck on baguette sandwich.

Great little place for snacks, sandwiches and authentic local fare. The staff were friendly and the freshly-made sandwiches prepared to your liking. The prices are fair and better than getting something at the airport, so we stocked up on sandwiches to take with us. Good variety and great location. Good alternative for those self-catering or just wanting a small meal. Thumbs up.

The closest store to my accommodation, and wow, what a find! The terrine lapin blueberry baguettes are amazing, as are the salads, especially the kale and cabbage! Very friendly, good prices, I pop in on my way home each day!

J'y vais de temps en temps, surtout pour prendre des sandwichs le midi. Les aliments sont très frais et moins chères que dans les alentours. Le service est impeccable. 5 étoiles

Lucky to have this store nearby for quick meals. The ham and cheese sandwich was great and so was the wanton soup. The only thing is that they sell out quite early.

La soupe Won ton est superbe. La meilleure que j'ai mangé! (ou bu!) J'ai eu un super service de Martin à la caisse. C'est certain que je vais y retourner!

Convenient and friendly. Delighted to be able to pick up some items while staying on Rue des Remparts. Wine, beer, cider as well as cheese and other items. Great selection.

An old standard in old Quebec under new ownership as of about 2 yrs ago. Rediscovered that place after close to 20 yrs. The new decor and new owners make it a great place to shop. Keep up the good work!

Nice shop with wine by bottle for sale. Sandwiches made on spot. Only place in tourist area we found for such.
