The menu to share has great entrees and the drink we ordered were pretty good. It’s very unfortunate our experience was ruined by the service. We got a reservation and got neglected from the start. The waiters didn’t have time for us. If you enjoy feeling neglected this is the place for you.

Je voulais un certificat cadeau. J’ai appelé à la succursale Vieux-Port qui m’a informé que seule les succursales Union et Drummond les vendaient. Une fois arrivée à la succursale Union, la gérante m’a expliqué que les certificats n’étaient disponibles qu’en ligne. Son service était incomparablement supérieur à celui offert par la succursale du Vieux-Port. Ces 4 étoiles sont donc uniquement pour elle. Je retournerai à Union et pas au Vieux port.

First time at Escondite! It was as wholesome experience. I didn’t know it was a Mexican - Japanese fusion, but it was on point. The food was good and so was the staff. Our waitress was called Cath. We got the chance to sit at the bar for some drinks afterwards and Kike, Vicky and Yona were very entertaining. Thanks to the whole crew.

Went for a nice little dinner with my parents! Our waitress Catherine was so sweet to us, incredible service even brought us shots, such a sweetheart. Recommend this place 10/10

Do not miss this place - specifically for the food and drink. They are not shy with flavors. Amazing drinks, fantastic food. A bee got drunk with me. #sorrynotsorry

Worst experience. The height of racial discrimination.
I ordered ribs and there were 5 of them, so I thought the portion was a bit small, but the white people next to me confirmed that there were 7 of them.
I ordered two tacos, but they brought them to me and left, but the white people on the other team explained the tacos to me.
I ordered diet cola, but they gave me the original.
I ordered a beer, but still couldn't order it.
Not a single thing was done right at once.
There is foreign matter on the knife
They guided me to the wall and told me to sit one space away from them. They told me to do whatever I wanted, but they didn't even bring me a menu.
Fish tacos are leftover with celery bombs, which are not mentioned on the menu.
I was dissatisfied with the taste, service, and quantity.

For an establishment in downtown, I don't expect authenticity, but it failed to provide even flavour. Underseasoned in every aspect, bland tacos is an oxymoron.

Il s'agit de ma succursale escondite préféré? Dommage que ce soit un petit emplacement.

Un super restaurant mexicain, cuisine originale (quesadilla avec truffe excellente), serveuses adorables et de bon conseil, nous sommes sortis heureux de notre repas

I need to give a shoutout to Vicky who made our evening at Escondite extra special. Great food and drinks (the blood orange marg was unreal)!

Loved this place! Amazing atmosphere. The Ribs were so good we got them twice! 10/10 recommend, the staff was amazing

Première fois à ce restaurant et on y retourne sans hésiter! Agréablement surprise et belle découverte. Notre serveuse JJ nous a donné un excellent service!

It is known that you cannot find the authentic flavor of the tacos but here there is not even anything similar to the pastor's taco with anything original, expensive for two tacos, not even the price of the tacos you pay is enough to give you sauce, which Archery class does not include salsa with the tacos, you have to pay an extra amount to have the salsa, too much noise, music too loud to talk, maybe it is just a place to have drinks and not have much expectation about the food

Nourriture toujours incroyable peu importe ce qu’on choisit sur le menu. Les cocktails sont renversants. Super service de Kike au bar

En revenant d’un voyage au Mexique j’avais une grande idée de qu’est ce qu’on sert dans un restaurant mexicain: des tacos de la salsa des ceviches. 11$ pour deux tacos.puis la salsa en supplément a 1$ chaque sauce tu m’ajoutes les taxe et pourboires pour 20$ 2 tacos… puis à 16$ une salade de mangue tu penses à une bonne grosse salade pour ce prix, même pas de quoi se nourrir, le ceviche de pescado m’est resté toute la nuit mon estomac s’en ai beaucoup plein. Les bières à 10$ pour de la xx, j’en revenais pas. Et le clou du spectacle ils prennent pas la cash! J’ai dû utiliser ma carte bleu française…. Je recommande pas cette endroit le Pastor n’avait rien de Pastor….

The cauliflower was so sweet like dessert and then Queassadia was just of cheese, my stomach is bloating of cheese and sweet and the pathetic taste.

Restaurant mexicain très sympa. Bon rapport qualité prix. Situation très centrale (fililiale près du Square Philipps et de la Baie).
Cevice excellant. Bon choix de tacos. Ample terrasse en bois protégée sur la rue.

Got the tasting menu and a few drinks. Everything was great. The general tao cauliflower stood out, delicious. The shrimp and the fish tacos were amazing. The churros were tasty. The media noche margarita was really good, the mojito not so much.
