When my previous dentist retired, my file was transferred to the former Ducap clinic. I was assigned to Dr. Cohen and feel very lucky because he and his team are a wonderful group of professionals. They are so welcoming and knowledgable in what they do. I feel like I am in good hands when it comes to my teeth. I highly recommend them to others.

Dr. Cohen and Christina took great care of me. Since I’m a kid I’ve always had issues with my teeth. Finally I can say I feel I’m in good hands. The new office is beautiful!

Two years ago, my dentist retired. Our whole families had been with this dentist for almost 20 years. According to his two employees who I met later, because of the health issues he had to retire. He referred all his clients to this clinic.

I went for my teeth cleaning appointment yesterday. I told the dental hygienist since I don’t have insurance and my teeth don’t feel any abnormal, this time I just wanted to clean only, no x-ray or exam. After 30-35 minutes, when I went to pay the bill, the receptionist told me it costed me $191. I was shocked. It totally costed $230 including cleaning, x-ray and dentist exam last year. I even checked my old dentist’s bills. It costed me $119 for cleaning and dentist exam in 2021 (x-ray was $80 extra in 2021). Okay, this was two years ago. If with the inflation 20%, (which is outrageous), it should be around $140. The average teeth cleaning in Montreal is $100. They said $230 is a bundle deal including cleaning, x-ray and dentist exam. But no one ever mentioned or offered to me before that I should take the bundle deal. They just let it be and charge me whatever later. They even said that if they want, they could charge me over $400 for cleaning teeth only according to their chart. Who would pay $400 for just cleaning the teeth! They said the reason my old dentist closed his clinic was because he didn’t know how to run his business, he didn’t know how to pay his staffs. I couldn’t believe my ears. Remember, insulting the others doesn’t make you the better one. They insulted the person who gave them more business. This is disrespectful and ungrateful. They said they pay their dental hygienist $50/hour. I think all dental hygienists in Montreal should jump at it! In the end, when I asked the invoice, they said to save the environment, they don’t print the invoice anymore. I am doing my share to tribute to save the environment. But after I spent $191 just cleaning my teeth, and my husband just spent almost $2000 at this clinic, I think I deserve to have my invoice printed. It costs $50 for 5000 letter size paper at Costco, which is $0.01 each paper. They don’t even want to spend $0.01 to print the invoice for clients. Don’t use “save the environment” as an excuse. Papers are reusable and recyclable. That’s why there are recycle bins. Don’t tell me that they don’t drive a car; they don’t take buses or they don’t take airplanes for their vacations! They walk only! What a hypocrite! They are just being cheap! Guess what? You may win for overcharging me yesterday, but you just lost me and our whole family as your clients for the future, and Chateauguay community whoever I know.

If anyone wants to be butchered, if anyone is looking for disrespectful, ungrateful and cheap dentist and staffs, here is the place to go.

Vous n'avez toujours pas de salle d'attente, cela fait plusieurs mois, et ce n'est plus acceptable, si vous n'en avez pas une a ma prohaine visite, il y a de grande chance que vous me perdrais, comme client,

Je suis une patiente de Dr. Lam depuis de nombreuses années. Toujours satisfaite. Je ne changerait pas mon dentist.
Ma dernière visite dans cette clinique était en 2021. J'ai appris par bouche à oreille que la clinique à était vendue et les clients ne sont pas au courant. Ils apprennent avec le nouveau r.d. V.que leur dentiste n'est plus là. C'est comme "maintenant il y a une autre dentiste et c'est le tien".
C'est le client qui décide qui va être son dentist et ne pas le contraire.
Éthiquement ils ne sont pas correct du tout. Ce n'est pas une façon de traiter une clientèle qui quand-même les font vivre.

Pas une place a aller, faux prix, le personnel arrogant, intimidation au téléphone, il se fou de vous il veule que votre argent.

Yes, I didn't make an appointment because I was told that the clinic will call me.
However, the new owner of the clinic probably still has most if the files and obviously didn't not update them.

Used to be good. Changed ownership recently; the best dentist now left and now you're treated as a cash cow with "we don't have time for quality work" message. The quality of dental work took a massive drop, too. Unless you want to feel like a lousy dollar sign with no regards to your actual dental health, steer clear of this one.

Ca fait plusieurs annees que je vais à cette clinique, toujours ete satisfaite, bon prix pour les gens sans assurances et bon services.
Mechante surprise cette semaine, un simple nettoyage de 30min, 230$. Sans radiographie.
Quand j'ai telephone pour prendre mon rendez vous, jamais on m a avise que la clinique a ete vendu et les prix change.
Tres decue, jen y retournerais plus!

Get assigned to this dentist because dr Abergel retired…place looks like a broken down telemarking operation.never had tooth pain before in my life, they tell me 500$ for my first two cavities ever. Now more pain than ever…avoid!
