I purchased a eurocave modular wine rack system but was advised to purchase the wrong configuration by Luigi. Instead of being told to buy 5 full set of shelves, I was told to buy 4 1/2 sets. Price between a half set and a full set is about $100. They are not willing to correct the problem by selling me the missing components, but expects me to purchase an entire extra set for $500 so I can use less than 1/5 of the parts and throw out the rest. This is not the kind of business you want to make a big purchase from because they will hold you hostage with their mistakes to force you to spend more then you should be.
Response to owner: I appreciate the fact that you took the time to respond to this review, however I do have a full email record of the transaction supporting my claim. I did purchase the setup as suggested by your team and did not turn down their advice contrary to what they are telling you. The missing pieces has nothing to do with how it's installed because regardless of the configuration it would require the same number of metal rods.
The take away is that your retailer, who I'm very happy with, was the one who took the steps to resolve the issue. The fact that you'd charge them or myself for an error from your team does not show you have a great customer service, even if you sold it to them at cost, the retailer was the one who had to pay for your team's mistake in the end.
