I love my courses with Ian, he's very supportive and helpful and still pushes you to improve. He always adapts and finds different angles to see what works best with his student. It's always a pleasure.

Very responsive and helpful to assist me looking for my music coach. And my vocal training journey with Ian has been fantastic, it helps me build a strong foundation for something more challenging.

I love everything about my lessons with Ian! His approach is creative and scientific, he always strikes the right balance between challenging and reinforcing, adapting to his students' needs and goals. He is a kind soul, super sensitive and empathic, has a great personality and excellent relational skills which made me feel secure and comfortable quickly at the beginning of our lessons, even though I had zero experience in singing. I am very happy with my improvement in a few months, it has been empowering. I highly recommend him and Express Voice Studio!

I recently took a class with Ian and as my first time experience it was amazing. Ian was very patient and friendly guiding me step by step and explaining everything as well as trying his best to create a comfortable safe environment.definitely recommend Ian and i will be coming back for more!:)

Ian is an amazing teacher and I would 100% recommend him for singing lessons! He’s very patient, always coming up with new and original content for his classes and I’ve seen considerable improvements in my singing since I started taking lessons with him. Always bringing that great energy that makes you want to learn more and improve!

I have taken classes with Ian and he is great! Encouraging yet realistic and able to give critique in a way that is not demoralizing. After my introductory class, I already felt more comfortable with my singing abilities. And he gave me practical tips that I've been able to implement in my day-to-day.

Je pense que l'expérience diffère selon le prof que vous avez. Je ne peux mettre le blâme sur la compagnie en tant que tel, je crois sincèrement que notre expérience aurait été différente avec une autre personne. L'été dernier j'ai pris la peine de faire un essai avec Rose pour enseigner à ma fille. Elle me dit qu'elle a de la disponibilité et qu'elle serait très contente de pouvoir être sa coach.
Donc tout est organisé ce sera les jeudis à partir de septembre. Le 9 septembre finalement elle est non disponible (je peux comprendre, elle a un contrat!) Le 30 septembre elle doit déplacer le cours car elle a un rendez-vous en urgence (je peux comprendre aussi!) On se fait annoncer qu'elle quitte à l'extérieur pour 6 semaines car elle a un contrat, retour prévu mi-novembre. Je lui ai demandé des références pour que ma fille puisse pratiquer avec quelqu'un d'autre durant son absence, je n'ai pas eu de nouvelles. Fin novembre, aucune nouvelle non plus de son retour. Je lui ai envoyé un message texte pour lui dire que je trouvais ça dommage et que je trouvais que cette façon de faire manque de respect pour sa clientèle. Pas de nouvelles non plus. Est-ce que la qualité des profs est présente? Absolument! Est-ce que le professionnalisme des profs est au rendez-vous? Ça dépend de la personne choisie.

Veronna is a great and fun teacher. Her vocal exercises are as dynamic as they are effective, making the interaction between student and teacher easy as a single team. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking forward to learn to sing pop!

Been taking voice lessons with Ian for about half a year.besides training my voice and guiding me towards my full potential, Ian is also a great advisor and listener who has provided me with countless gems about music overall, which helped me a lot in my own works. Recommend!

3 months into lessons with Jordanne and I could not be happier! Singing is such an abstract art that diving into this as someone who is definitely more “left-brained” was initially quite daunting, but Jordanne always finds a way to help me connect with whatever concept we’re focusing on.

Her diverse background creates for a pretty amazing experience that leaves you feeling like she really understands you, your body, and where it holds tension. She even gives me little lifelong (bad) habits to work on undoing each week. Whether it’s jaw tension, the way in which I breathe, or even the way I walk, these little changes always end up contributing in a meaningful way to my singing. Every week lately I have been noticing small improvements as we re-wire these old habits.

It’s also worth mentioning that for new singers I would STRONGLY recommend going as often as your budget permits. Like with learning any new skill, the frequency of QUALITY practice is paramount. I recently switched from once to twice/week and noticed an immediate difference. I would literally go every single day if I could.

Our daughter has been taking piano lessons with Jordanne for two years. We had tried other teachers and wanted someone who could engage our daughter and teach her more than just classical RCM repetoire. Jordanne taught her how to play lead sheet chords so she could sing and play piano at the same time. Highly recommend.

Jordanne is amazing and really helps you understand the techniques behind singing and improving your voice. I was anxious to take singing lessons but she made me feel comfortable and makes the lessons fun. She’s really patient and will help you discover your voice:)

I've had the pleasure of working with Jordanne through our collaboration at Opera NUOVA, a summer program for emerging artists. Jordanne is highly focused and skilled and emerging herself in her work. Her tenacity is extremely inspiring. As her colleague and friend, I am thrilled to see her business growth in the last year. Jordanne is a gifted, and experienced musician. She has extensive training in classical technique as well as jazz. Jordanne also studies Alexander Technique for proper body alignment! A flexible, passionate, and driven teacher; you cannot go wrong!

I am a theatre and voice actress and my work has improved enormously since working regularly with Jordanne. She has helped me find my vocal range and has given me tools to use and project my night after night voice without straining. Her approach is simple, direct, efficient. It is such a pleasure to work with her.
