Falafel St. Jacques

Ordered out from Falafel st Jaques and we had a good experience. We had the sabich, falafel wrap, falafel plate and salad. The food was very fresh and tasty and we're definitely coming back. Good alternative to some of the other falafel joints in the city.

A lovely experience. We are visiting Montréal and came a bit out of our way to go here and are so glad we did. The proprietor was very kind and made our falafel fresh in front of us. She also offered us several tastings of some of their most popular menu items. Everything on the menu is vegan.

Absolutely the best falafel in the city (and all of their mock meats are great too!). The quality here is top-notch, with everything always tasting fresh and delicious. The customer service is exceptional. Every visit feels like a warm and welcoming experience. My whole family absolutely loves this place, and we keep coming back for more. La petit famille a eu envie d'un bon falafel qu' on commandait là avant la pandémie. Ça faisait longtemps qu'on en n'a pas été.
Très déçus ce soir et ça nous donne plus envie de revenir.
1- patates maison dans le temps ne le sont plus. C'est de pommes de terres surgelées et salées comme la facture
2- service médiocre voir humiliant.
Un client devant nous qui se fait mal traité et puis c'était notre tour. On nous fait répété la commande deux fois et puis un du staff reconfirme la commande comme si on avait menti, des feuilles de commandes ça existe vous savez.c'est plus agréable et plus simple pour la gestion. Après à la caisse, le patron nous tend le sac et nous demande d'emballer la commande qu'il a posé en face de nous, avez vous déjà vu un restaurateur qui se respecte faire emballer la commande par ses clients!
Bref, c'était pas la meilleure journée pour y aller!

Food: Falafel was fairly tasty, ingredients tasted fresh, with warm falafel balls and a decent amount of sauce. Sabich was decent, but not amazing. Sabich would have benefited from amba (which you can request, but isn’t normally included).

Service: Staff was friendly.:)

Atmosphere: Place itself has a cute patio. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself is located near a busy highway underpass. Bit of a treck, if you’re taking the subway. There is no subway nearby, you have to take a bus ride from Lionel-Groulx metro.

Our vegan daughter surprised us with a delightful meal, including shawarma, shishtaouk, and falafel trios that she brought home. Although my wife and I are avid meat-eaters, the deliciousness of these dishes makes us consider giving up meat without hesitation.

Every item was reasonably priced and perfectly flavourful. We got two plates (falafel and shishtaouk) which covered both lunch and dinner. Even simple items like the pita bread and humus was perfect. They maintain high standards in their recipes. Dined outdoors under the umbrella; seating arrangement was thoughtfully done. Will definitely go back and highly recommend others do too.

A really nice little vegetarian restaurant. My Falafel plate and salads were fantastic and the people here are really nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
