Simply the best falafel sandwich in town. Go for the half pita, idk why it’s just better and will be enough if you take a side.

Best falafel place! Go and try it, it will be worth it. The falafels are crunchy and juicy at the same time and just really tasteful. I tried a lot of different falafel places but none are as good as Falafel Yoni.
I definitely also recommend trying the Sabich. It’s so delicious and special.

One of my favourite places for a quick bite in the neighbourhood. The half sandwich is plenty for me and a delicious, affordable option. Falafel Yoni can get busy, so I usually order ahead to avoid the wait. Make sure you get their spicy zhug sauce!

Je pense le meilleur sandwich falafel de la ville. Ici pas de politique on vient manger du houmos et de la citronnade! Le prix du sandwich est imbattable et surtout le service est top pas d'attente et quartier incroyable. J'ai déjà hâte de revenir manger un autre falafel!

Falafel Yoni was a great choice for myself and my film crew. After working a long day on set, having such a flavourful and filling dinner made all the difference! Thank you Yoni for being so great!

After hearing so much about this place and seeing so many coworkers with their falafel yoni takeout, i had to try it! I had the falafel salad, it was truly delicious and the portion was massive! I had half left for supper. Loved the falafels and the overall freshness of the meal. The sauces were good and the salad was so minty (and god knows i adore mint). Great blend of textures and flavours. Only con is that the service was pretty slow especially since we were only two but I saw they had some uber eats orders, which might explain the wait. Will go again to try the sabich and falafel pita! My friend had the za'atar fries and everyone was stealing some at work. (Also lots of vegetarian options)

Falafel wrap was good but a huge portion that neither my partner or I could come close to finishing. Also the restaurant wasn’t very clean, esp the bathroom. Calcium build up on the faucet, peeling paint etc. Additionally, it’s shared seating and table surface but seems to get wiped infrequently. If it were cleaner generally I’d be more inclined to recommend.

I am obsessed. The z'hug sauce, the spicy hummus and falafel wraps! Its going to be a whilt until I can eat anything else! Always super fresh, flavourful and a huge portion. Incontournable.

Expérience mitigée en vue de notre arrivée chez Falafel Yoni où un employé crache dans le SAS de l’entrée du restaurant juste devant nous, ce qui crée un doute quant à la propreté et au respect des procédures d’hygiène quand on remarque par la suite que c’est ce même employé qui va nous cuisiner nos Falafel Pita.

Pour autant, les sandwichs sont délicieux et les portions très généreuses.

I ordered a falafel salad, portion was very big, fresh and delicious! Falafel melts in your mouth, so good! My husband had the falafel pita, i was stuffed, so full. Was happy to see half pita option on the menu, perfect for a child or a smaller appetite. Definitely recommend this place.

Wow! What a healing feel good vibe! Walked in on a random Tuesday eve to encounter 2 soulful guys working, afrobeat in the air, nutritious food in our mouths. Just what the doctor ordered. A HUGE shout out to the gents who fed us tonight! Much love! Will tell all our friends to come here just for your warmest of energy that added to the tastiness of the food

Food was delicious and really hit the spot! And prices are definitely reasonable. Service was speedy and pleasant all the way. There are tables and bar stools for those who want to eat in, but I noticed a lot of people just have their food to go.

For the 5th time over a period of 8 months, and those were my only 5 chances to this place. Too much dressing, bread is wet, very cold product… I imagine if it was warmer or would be better…

It's their spicy sauce that made all the difference for us & to fall in love with their falafel sandwich.

We ordered a half which was more than enough for the two of us (we don't have massive appetites lol).

They are definitely worth a visit if you're in town; you won't be disappointed

It's possible to order ahead & pick up or you can pop over & place your order.

There's no dine-in option currently but they have a couple of benches outside for customers.

We were walking in the area, a few blocks away from this place and saw this couple with two MASSIVE food items that we thought were pizza slices. We walked up to them to see what they were eating and they were huge falafels! We asked where they got them and we walked over right away. When we got there, there were tons of people waiting for thier order (so we knew that was great sign). We got the food quickly, it was delicious, not expensive and very filling. I would personally get less sauce next time but we all loved them and got the zatar fries. Definitely put this on your food tour!

Went to order online on their app but delivery and processing fees were so expensive! $20 in fees on a $20 order. So I decided to order for pick up and the falafel were so delicious! I would put them in my top 2 falafel in Montreal with Falafel St Jacques.

Huge fan of the falafels here. The salads are also quite nice if you’re looking for something less messy. The fries with zatar are good too.

I didn’t like falafels until I had Falafel Yoni. This is the only Falafels I eat in Montreal. The spicy sandwich is amazing!

Im quite stuffed from that full sized pita! Well priced. For delivery it was still delicious. The pita was not overly soggy and the falafel balls.oh their falafel balls. I love how they always seem to stay crispy! The ingredients seem nice and fresh and they arent stingy on the ingredients. I was worried that their wouldn't be enough sauces. There was a proper amount!

I added extra eggplants in it too

It was such a satisfying dinner!

The little soft ball of chocolate tahini covered in sprinkles, although simply just a ball of fudge, was enjoyable for a small dessert!

Definitely one of my favorites in Montreal.

Went to the pop-up shop at AtWater great falafel just can't stop eating it, the fellow working there was super nice as well

The best quick grab food. Everything I wanted in a falafel pita. I’m a huge mess with hand food and the shape was delightfully easy to handle, I didn’t lose a bite, can be easily munched drunk in heels on the move.

Quick, friendly and professional staff. Quick byte in the middle of office. Tried pita bread and fries with spicy chutney and they were mouth watering. Good vibes.

So tasty - the falafels are smaller in size than typical which is great due to more crunch. All the vegetables were super fresh and the tahini was nice and light. Large portions so if not as hungry get the smaller version. Would like the option to choose toppings if possible but really liked the green hot sauce that is added if you want spicy. Hand wash station is a nice touch!

Après la fermeture de mon meilleur restaurant pour manger des falafels, Rumi express, il y a quelques années, j’ai enfin trouvé le remplaçant, j’ai essayé des dizaines d’autres restaurants et celui-ci est le meilleur pour la qualité vs prix, tout est fait avec amour, le personnel est très sympathique.

Merci, ça a été une très belle expérience gustative la première fois, tellement que je suis revenu pour leur dire que j’avais adoré.

C'est bon, c'est frais, et c'est pas cher comparé à ce qu'il y a d'autres!

The quality at this place seems to have gone downhill since the last time I ate there, and enjoyed it, a few years ago. The falafel pita I received had so much sauce and liquid from the pickled ingredients, which turned the bread to mush, that it caused the sandwich to fall apart almost immediately. The falafel was cold, seemingly right out of the refrigerator, and wet. For the price, cold mushy falafel is unacceptable. I didn't finish it.

Food was incredible and very tasty. The Falafels are very crunchy and you have a very good humus to eat it with. Also, the sauces they have there are really tasty and everything tastes like good quality food. The staff was very friendly and you can see how everything is made since it's an open kitchen concept. Loved the place and the food.

The best Falafel I had in Montreal so far. The portion served is huge and thats the reason behind "half pita" that I didn't get at the beginning!

The cashier was so nice she went beyond the expectations.

Vraiment excellent falafels! La version épicée était géniale. Les frites un peu décevantes par contre. Bonnes au goût, mais froides et pas très fraîches. Sinon la boule Choco/tahini aux sésames était une belle surprise ️

Delicious! I’m so happy to be seeing Falafel Yoni expanding around the city and opening new spots. Price to quality ratio, you can’t get better.

The falafel can be a bit thrown together at rush hour. I'd recommend coming at an off hour if possible. If you do, you wont regret it. Easily the best falafel i've had outside of Israel when at its best. Rush hour 6/10. Off hours 9/10.

Simply wow! I used to have a negative bias towards falafels but this place definitely changed my mind. Falafel Yoni will definitely become one of my favorite place to go. Delicious and not too heavy on the stomach. The half falafel sandwich should be enough to fill it. The full portion is huge!

Falafel Yoni my FAVE. I crave it all the time. I can never get enough. Everything is made fresh and it shows. From the falafels and fries to the salad, to the lemonade and choco balls, it's all done RIGHT. FY is a standout in this City.

Having tried out and enjoyed my experience at Pizza Toni I headed on a different day to Falafel Yoni to try out their namesake dish. The falafel, at just under $10, is great when it comes to value for money, but unfortunately, I did not love the sandwich. The falafel was relatively well fried, but the sandwich was on the dryer side, and after a few bites it felt like a burden to finish. I can't say I'm the biggest aficionado of falafel in general, so if you are one, then it may be best to disregard my review!

Excellent falafel, ultra généreux, bon. Les frite sont délicieuse avec leur mélange d'épices et le sabich et également décadent!

Des sandwiches falafel proprement DÉ LI CIEUX! Le sandwich Sebich aux aubergines l'est tout autant. Sans aucune discussion possible la meilleure adresse pour ce type de bouffe a Montreal.

First time trying this place today, couldn't have been happier. Was served by the nicest guy named Wilfred, he gave me great advice for my order. Great value, greater taste, and the greatest service.

J’ai mangé avec ma conjointe là bas et ils ont les meilleurs falafels de Montreal! Leur frites au zaatar sont délicieuses, je recommande à tout amateur de sandwich au falafel de goûter leur nourriture.

I honestly would have this every day of the week. It is so fresh, crispy, creamy. All the right elements for a great lunch or supper. Heck I'd have it for breakfast too! All that for under 10$. Can't beat. And they're super friendly too! Love that they have a simple menu - simple, but done right. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Nous avons commandé un Sabich, un pita falafel et une salade Falafel.

Les aubergines du sabich étaient brulées (et froides? !) ce qui donnait une forte amertume. Les garnitures étaient excellentes.

Le pita Falafel, épicé! Mais bien généreux.

Salade falafel, bonne. Falafels chauds, garniture généreuse et il y a beaucoup de salade. C'est très apprécié. Mais peut-être ajouter un peu d'huile d'olive afin d'allonger la sauce tahini plutôt dense.

Meilleurs Falafels? Je préfère ceux de la panthère verte, et le Sabich de Sumac. Mais le tout était ok

Huge sandwich but tiny falafels - I got a major stomach ache after that meal. I believe this place is over rated (and totally overpriced) it’s a falafel sandwich after all! Probably because of all the hipsters in the area.

P.s. @falafel Yoni; your reply is ridiculous! Did you miss the part that I felt sick after eating your crunchy falafel? Shall I add more details?

So tasty and fresh. I love getting their sandwiches every time of the year - summer or winter, always hits the spot! Sabich is my special favorite, such an unusual combination of things (boiled eggs, eggplant, hummus, cabbage, mango sauce etc) but amazingly good! And the portions are generous:)

This has to be, one of my new favourite if not favorite Falafel joint. As a Jew I have to say that I've had my fair share of falafel. To me, this is as authentic and try as they come.

Amazingly fresh pita bread, perfectly fried falafel that has a delicious texture and taste. The hummus was fresh, the veg was fresh!

All and all a homerun of a joint!

Didn't even like Falafel till I tried theirs! Unreal. Check out their sister restaurant Pizza Toni which is down the street!

Nous sommes venu jeudi 14 janvier 2021 a 11h00, (pour la première fois) le jeune homme qui nous a servi était d'une gentillesse et d'un professionnalisme exemplaire, pleins de bon conseil et a pris le temps de bien nous expliquer malgré nos nombreuses questions merci a lui pour cette belle job!
En plus de ça le falafel en sandwich était délicieux et on a pris des frites zatar (conseiller) excellente
Je note que très rarement un restaurant mais la je tenais à le faire, nous avons passé un très bon moment, encore merci.

The falafel salad is delicious, the quality of the ingredients is excellent BUT I would expect more falafels. Adding 4-5 more falafels wouldn’t hurt the bottom line and certainly allow for the meal to be richer and more complete. Everything is perfect but the number of falafels. The proportion between salad & protein is not adequate enough imo.

The falafel is the perfect snack. They're tiny and warm surprisingly filling. Dipped in that sauce they have I could eat a bucket full.the lemonade is also home made and it's the best I've had in montreal so far.

Cozy place and excellent Falafel spot located in the plateau area, I loved the taste of their falafel and Hummus and the Falafel salad super delicious. Highly recommended, Good job.

I've been eating here for almost 2 years and I can tell you that I've always enjoyed their delicious falafel. The menu is simple and every item is very tasty, whatever you'll be ordering it will be a good choice for sure. The prices are accessible and the staff it's really nice.
Probably one of the best falafel in town.

Their falafel is very tasty and they are very generous with the amount of food they give you and very affordable not expensive at all the staff are very friendly. But they use extreme amount of salt later on I was very very thirsty and dry and I felt very bloated like msg powder feeling. I hope they will adjust the amount of salt they add in.
