I'm a tourist here in Canada, and I purchased a SIM card from Rogers in Halifax. Unfortunately, it doesn't work because my phone is locked to Globe, a service provider in the Philippines.

The attendant suggested I purchase a MiFi dongle, which I paid around $200 for. I've already used up my 12GB plan, and during my visit to a place in Montreal called Plaz Cote de Neige, the staff there recommended that I buy a voucher from Electrocell, which I did for $50. They assured me that they successfully added it, but when we checked the system, the voucher didn't go through, and I'm still without an internet connection using the device.

This situation is frustrating and inconvenient for me as a tourist because it limits my ability to navigate Canada without access to data.

Feeling helpless and frustrated, I decided to Uber back to Plaz Cote de Neige to have this issue resolved. I was attended to by Yashpal. I must admit that I wasn't at my best attitude when I approached him. He mentioned that prepaid services aren't their specialty and that it's his first time encountering the Wi-Fi device I bought from Rogers.

Despite the argument that transpired between me and Yashpal due to my frustrations, he still went the extra mile. Yashpal called the customer service number on my behalf and tried to seek a resolution to my issue. A lady from Rogers came over and told Yashpal that I should handle it on the website. I sensed that she was implying that Yashpal shouldn't assist me further.

Yashpal then explained to her that he was just trying to help me, considering that I'm new to Canada and unfamiliar with how things work with telecom providers here. After a lengthy call with customer service, Yashpal managed to resolve my issue. He even gave me a $10 voucher to refill my data.

I apologized to Yashpal for my earlier demeanor, and he graciously accepted it. I also thanked him for going above and beyond his call of duty. Although there are areas that can be improved in my experience with Fido, I believe Yashpal did an exceptional job in assisting me today.

Aljun did a pretty good job of assisting me in getting a new device! He also suggested me plans or ways I can save with my bill. He also gave me a free screen protector and phone case! Give that man a raise!

Pire service a la clientèle jamais vu, j'ai appeller le service clients Fido qui m'ont assurer que je pourrai avoir un nouvelle téléphone en magasin (je viens de me faire voler mon nouveau téléphone) j'arrive là et la fille qui me sert ne me dis meme pas bonjour, elle parle dans une autre langue avec son collègue, qui en soit ne me déranges pas mais svp pas lorsque vous êtes avec un client. Par le suite elle me dis que je dois attendre 3mois pour un nouveau téléphone quand je lui explique que j'ai déjà parler avec quelqu'un au téléphone elle me dis pourquoi vous êtes là alors, je suis reparti pas de téléphone et j'ai annuler tous mes compte ce manque de respect est inacceptable

Worst place worst service, I traded in 2 iPhones cost $200 they said, and leased 2 new iPhones with big plan and they said $400 credit each, so they should give me 1000$ credit total, but they did not write in contract, and they did not give me enough data, I went to see them at least 6 times to correct it, but finally they only give me $800 credit for plan and $100 for 2 iPhones trade in, that means they cheat me $100. And they said it is too late, and they do not say it is their fault. Really bad store bad service! I m 7 years fido and rogers customer, I m really disappointed for them fido and rogers this time.

If I could've gave them 0 i would, the employees at this kiosk are fraud, they will offer you something they cannot offer, the manager of the store is rude and the speak for people not to understand what they are saying. They will say anything just to make a sale, fido should check their kiosk and their employees because they are giving them a really bad reputation!
