The portions were good, loved Calamari and onion soup, ribeye was not cooked as I wanted to be!

Nice little place near the commercial street where you can have a quiet dinner.

Service attentionné. Nous avons opté pour le filet mignon et la côte de boeuf dans son jus et c’était très bon. Les accompagnements et entrées étaient copieuses. Le dessert est pour les dents sucrés et portion trop généreuse (le gâteau chocolat dulce de leche est délicieux) nous l’avons partagé à deux.

J'ai bien aimé ce resto pour son décor et ambiance chaleureux en plus de son menu bar et grill assez varié et savoureux pour ce qu'on a commandé. Je recommande et j'y retournerai c'est certain.

I went here with my boyfriend expecting an upscale ambiance and was extremely let down by the menu items and the vibe of the restaurant. Menu items felt like we were at a chain restaurant and we stayed only for a drink and a snack. We were expecting a romantic date night and were disappointed with the 'after soccer game' type of vibe we got while sitting in our booth.

Amazing food! The ribs fell right off the bones and their sauce was amazing! My husband had the wings and really enjoyed those too

Good service and food was alright. Portion sizes are good, and the calimari was good but a little greasy. Ambience was nice and chill, quiet enough to let people conversate. Don't know if I would come here again but we were really hungry at the time so didn't have much choice.

Une des meilleures côte de boeuf au jus que j'ai mangé! La cuisson saignante était parfaite! Un vrai régal! Le cocktail de crevettes était excellent aussi! Je vous recommande ce steak house sans hésitation!

Nous avons toujours eu de belles expériences chaque fois qu'on est allés, mon conjoint et moi. Le Streak vaut tellement la peine la bas et les vins aussi! Le restaurant est ouvert tard également ce qui nous à permis de sauver notre anniversaire cette année, car un autre restaurant avait canceller dernière minute. Le service est toujours impeccable et à la hauteur de nos attentes. Les portions ont toujours été super généreuses et la nourriture succulente. J'adore ce restaurant chic!

No regard for the COVID restrictions at all! The guy sitting next to us was constantly coughing and they didn’t care at all. There were some servers who wore mask below their mouth.

I went there for Uber pickup, they took 20 mins and I asked them as I am not suppose to wait for more than 15 mins for a pick up. The staff is very rude, he was talking rudely to me and it’s not acceptable, if you can’t manage, restaurants should not take orders and waste tome delivery drivers we also have other deliveries and money to make.
We don’t work for you we wrk for ourselves!

Spiro was incredible. What service we received. Salads were large and quite good. Steak was cooked well but not top notch quality for me, a little too much gristle. Otherwise, ambiance was great and spiro’s customer service was awesome. Great guy and him alone is worth the drive to this steak house- we are from Toronto. Lol. All good. 5 stars.

Pre-covid I had ordered prime rib roast on multiple occasions. It was always served to my specifications which was medium rare. After not having it for so long I was excited to go back and order it at Firegrill. I personally found their prime rib roast, with their house au jus sauce to be one of the most delicious in Montreal. But I no longer think that to be true after the experience I’ve had.

My companion and I both ordered medium rare as we always did. The waiter who was serving us, told us that, even if we did order the cooking preference we preferred, it would likely be cooked more closer to a medium. We were confused because this was never an issue in the past. We told him we specifically wanted medium rare and if that temperature were un-available, we preferred not to order it and if he could clarify with the kitchen. We didn’t get any clarification from our waiter so we assumed everything would be alright.

After receiving it though, both our prime rib roasts arrived completely brownish grey but still steaming hot. Cutting into it took some effort, it was stiff to the touch and was a perfect pale pink all the way through, which clearly is medium well. My companion’s was a little thicker but was a medium as well. Completely different to what we ordered in the past, which was tender all the way through, with its definite pink surface sheen. Unsatisfied with what we received we called over the manager who is also the owner, and explained to him that was not what we wanted to order and if he could remove it and send us another prime rib roast to our preferences.

He tried to convince me it was the specified cooking preference we had ordered and proceeded to dictate to me what he thought, constituted as a medium rare. He became defensive, indignant and condescending, at which point he dismissed me completely and said, "I don't want to argue" and walked away abruptly.

I wish I had the chance to take a picture of what we received. If it were not for the other senior waiter coming over to our table every so often checking up on us, I would have definitely rated my experience a 1 star.

I'm not sure whether it was due to the inexperience of our waiter that caused misunderstandings or miscommunication, but we definitely left hungry and unsatisfied. We paid the bill which was, four drinks, a garlic bread and two cocktail shrimps.

We ended up going to another nearby steak house in which the prime rib roast was cooked to perfection and to our preferences. So, no matter how hard the owner tried to pass off medium and medium well, as medium rare, there’s a definite difference in them and I hope he realizes that. Because honestly the only person he’s embarrassing is himself. I believe the key in running a restaurant is consistency, if you cannot follow through with consistency how could you call yourself a successful restaurateur in the service industry.

I went there with my boyfriend after they reopened, still excellent place and my favorite downtown.
We always have an amazing time, the drinks, the food and don't forget the dessert, so yummy.

Good steak and well seasonned food. I would say there is still room for improvement, but the food was definitely good quality and MILES ahead of Bâton rouge where I ordered my last steak. It's not even a comparison.

Delivery came fast, food is decent, always go for the ribs.had an order of pasta, sauce is a bit bland and some veggies are not well cooked through.hope they don't loose the quality of the food just so to get the dish out there fast.

Got some COVID carryout here. OMG the burger was amazing, and reasonably priced (under $20) for the portion and quality. Will be a regular.

On y est allé pour la fête a mon amie, l accueil etait tres froid par l hotesse a l entré. Mon amie lui a demandé une question et elle s est énervée et nous a repondu bête en nous demandant si on voulait parler au gerant. Jai prit un steak d entrecote a 43$ vieilli et tout.tres ordinaire. La fêtée a prit la même chose et elle aussi très déçue! Cher pour rien, la serveuse etait bien.je ne retournerai pas et je ne recommande pas non plus.

Server was outstanding. Our waiter made the experience for us! As for the food, it is overpriced for what you get (popcorn chicken for example) and steak wasnt overly favourful, tough, however was cooked to my liking. A side of mushrooms were $10 which was a surprise also.

Right off the subway. We had no reservations and were seated immediately. We all got the special of filet mignon kabobs. All enjoyed very much. Service was great.

Atmosphere is decent, basically like a Keg, however value for money not great.
Food tastes good and is of good quality, but prices a bit inflated. Starter ceasar was $7,8oz steak was $30,9oz wine $16.
Again, food tasted good, but better value for money elsewhere in city

The food and drinks were quite solid, but the service was terribly slow, and we were practically the only people in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, though.

They give free bread starter which is nice, steak was alright, bbq sauce chicken was excellent, rice side was ok. Desserts are quite good too (tried apple pie, had a very nice crust)

I can overlook that I did not get dinner rolls and the steak knife come only 3/4 of my meal, the most short coming is my rib steak is over done. I asked for medium rare, but it came in medium, if the center is medium, the edge would be well done, disappointing for a restaurant specialized in steak.

Nothing special - overall a decent restaurant. Burgers were ok, nothing spectacular. Steak was good. Staff was friendly, and accommodated us with a stroller - although getting in the restaurant was challenging due to quite a few stairs.

Went for lunch today. Service was lovely. The oriental salad was not. A bit of romaine, tons of crispy fried noodles, plenty of mushy canned mandarin sections, and a sprinkling of peanuts. Drenched in a sugary soy sauce.
