Fish Bone

The food was good overall and the portions were reasonable, but one can't help but feel that it was far too pricy for any enjoyment you're deriving. We ordered the "Trifecta" which was quite a delicious sashimi dish and the "Seafire Roll" which was, with deference, eminently mediocre. We had the "Maldive Salad" which was good and the "Miso Cod" which was also "meh". Add a couple bottles of sparkling water and an order of french fries (best thing we ordered) and it was over $200 tax and tip. If you are not cost conscious and don't care where you spend your money then go to town. If you are not cost conscious but do care where you spend your money, you can give it a shot but I doubt very much you'll be running back. If you are cost conscious and are looking for a nice trendy place to go to for an occassion then I would tell you to find an alternative venue. There are many better places for the price you'll pay. The music was loud, the service was decent but we were in and out in less than an hour. Felt kind rushed. I dunno man. I won't be going back.

As they were late to give us our table (they were cleaning it), it took another 45 minutes to get water and drinks. There was also a mistake with one dish we never ordered and they kicked us out at 8: 56PM when they apparently had a group of 9 waiting. When we paid, we stayed at the bar for one last drink and no one was ever seated at out table. We used to enjoy that location a lot but we won't be returning anytime soon.

Just like many of the other reviews stated, this place is very much overpriced and poor value. I have no issues paying top dollar for a fantastic meal but Fish Bone is not in that category. It is also much too loud to have a dinner conversation. The server could barely hear us and vice versa.

Loved the experience the service is absolutely perfect! They kept a smile on their faces despite the fact that we were a large group (40)! They did everything in their power to accommodate us and the celebration was a success thanks to their professionalism! A-1!

Definitely recommend specially for date nights!

Enjoy reading the most ridiculous experience ever, it’s worth the long read:
- Reservation at 9pm got seated at 9: 30 pm
- Waited so long to order and receive drinks/food. Group next to us arrived after us and got their drinks and food before us.
- We finally got our meals at 11: 15 pm and they brought the main dish before the appetizer.
- Some people did not receive part of their meal whether it was their main or the appetizer and the response we got was “the kitchen is closed”. Remember our reservation was at 9 pm.
- They made an effort to get the chef to cook the missing meals but in the end some people still did not get their main dish.
- This was a $75 fixed menu with very limited choices. The food was good at least.
- We had to wait forever for the bills.
- When the waiter was preparing the bills he told us that it was $90 per person. The menu was literally written $75 Menu and this is was we were told when we made the reservation. We refused to pay $90 especially after the bad experience we had. Their rational was “majority of the group took fillet mignon and since they estimate people usually taking half fish half steak they needed to balance it out”. It was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. We had to argue with them for 2 hours.
- When we finally got the bills they were wrong. The waiter had to re-do the bills 3 times. We waited FOREVER. Then their machine broke and no one could pay. We waited until 2: 00 am to pay. The waiter and manager were no where to be found. They are lucky we are an honest group because we all should have just walked out.
- The only positive thing I can say about the night was they gave us free shots to compensate. Not enough in my opinion.
- Overall, they seriously need to get organized and if they are understaff, as they claim, do not book what you can’t handle.

Il lui a dit qu’il ne peut que lui donner des croûtons. C une honte. Je maudit ce restaurant. C dommage car c un resto avec une belle ambiance mais un mauvais gérant!

I am truly so disappointed with the service I received last night at Fishbone.

To start off, we were a group with a reservation at 9pm. We only got seated at 9: 30, and served our food at 11: 15pm. The table next to us arrived later, and had finished their meals by the time we were even served. The people from that table even came up to us to tell us that they "felt bad" for us. HOW EMBARASSING!

Since we were a group, we were told we absolutely had to order from a fixed menu at $75 a person. Strange because once again, the table next to us was a group of people and they were able to order from the regular menu.seems like Fishbone treats certain clients different than others.

Anyway, when we did receive our food, we received our main meal without ever receiving our appetizers. When we asked what was going on, no one was able to answer our questions. They simply said the kitchen was closing so they had to rush the food service. The orders were mixed up, some people didn't get what they ordered, did not get an appetizer, or like me, did not even get my main dish! So essentially I went to Fishbone at 9pm to have an appetizer at 11: 15pm and then was told it was too late because the kitchen was closed, all while I had very well ordered a main dish.talk about starving!

The worst part was at the end of the night when it was time to pay, they wanted to charge us 90$ a person rather than the said $75 because they had estimated that half of us would take the fish, and since we all took the meat and meat is more expensive, they had to ''balance it out". I've never heard of such a fraud in my life.

At this point, we just wanted to pay and get out of there. However, it took 2 HOURS to do that due to the inability of the staff to properly split the bills, their machines were apparently not working, they had received a new system and did not know how to use it, etc, etc, etc.

Oh and the best of it all is that we had asked multiple times to speak to the manager, who NEVER came to see us.what great hospitality you provide your clients, Fishbone!

Superbe soirée avec mes amies au Fish Bone pour mon anniversaire samedi le 10 septembre 2022. Notre serveuse Racille a été EXTRA! La nourriture était fabuleuse et les drinks aussi. Le seul point est qu'on a dû quitter notre table pour l'autre groupe. On a été averti c'est sur, mais on voulait rester plus. J'y retourne très prochainement!

We took the tomahawk steak, it was super delicious plus the sushi was amazing I would recommend 100%, I could go out every week to this place

The food was surprisingly excellent! It was refreshing to have good food at a supper club! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The music was good. Highly recommend and will visit again. Thank you!

Had a reservation for a group of 10 people to celebrate a birthday and were seated an hour and a half late. Really miserable experience, would avoid.

Only has three vegetarian options and was out of one of them when we came. But the options we had were amazing.

YOU HAVE TO COME HERE! Amazing food & staff. I came for my birthday with 3 other friends and we had the best time. Our waiter Rafael was the best! The staff made it extra special. I never write reviews but I just had to for this place because it is probably the best restaurant experience we ever had. If you like sea food & fun music this is really the place. Worth the price too. A million stars if I could. 100% coming back here again soon!

Very tasty food! The sushis were fresh and delicious. And the stick ribs…omghighly recommend! The service was great and friendly too. We didn’t have to wait for long to get our food but it might have been because it was a quiet tuesday night.
The only thing I would say is that the glasses of wine are very expensive (17$ per glass). I think it might be a better deal to get the whole bottle.

Très cher pour quest ce que tu as dans ton assiette. Il a pas grand choix de plat principal et la cerise sur le sunday il vous demande si vous voulez de l'eau et si vous dites oui il rajoute 8$ sur votre facture.

Vérifier vos factures car le partage de l’eau flat etc n’est pas divisé de manière équitable au groupe. 1 personne paye 4$ et l’autre personne paye 8$
Je demande des explications, on peut pas me répondre comme il me faut et me fait de l’attitude.
Par contre, la serveuse vraiment gentille et respectueuse

I went in for a drink and ended up sharing 6 oysters last night with a friend, got food poisoning and was puking all night. Horrible experience, for a highly reputable place it was very anticlimactic. The lady at the bar was extremely professional and very nice tho.

Fujisan salad $32 is good with sashimi, however the sushi roll maki Azabu $31 was bland. Half octopus was sooooo good $58, but oysters were disappointingly small and also tasteless.
