Fisshu

I have visited Fisshu many times and love the place. The staff is always super friendly and responsive, the service is incredibly quick and the food is delicious. Not to mention, you can bring your own wine. I have and will continue to recommend Fisshu to anyone looking to eat out. I also suggest you try their dessert sushi Natsumi - it is delicious!

Les sushi étaient bons et frais, le menu est assez varié, par contre le restaurant inclue un 4,20$ de pourboire dans la facture d’une façon automatique.je trouve ça irrespectueux envers le client! J’espère qu’ils vont corriger ça! Sinon l’ambiance est bonne une belle musique, les serveurs sont corrects.

Cuisine très variées, le riz était vraiment pas bon. L’espace entre les tables font que les serveurs ou clients sont obligés de ce frotter à vous constamment pour passer derrière vous. Par contre un service très rapide. Déjà eu de meilleurs expériences

The price was expensive and the food was not tasty. The chicken and beef were hard and hard to chew, and the main dish, sushi, was tasteless. The soybean paste soup had no taste. I will never go again

I absolutely love this all you can eat sushi! The fish tasted high-quality, and came out any timely manner. The staff was also very friendly and efficient. The only downside I would say is you have a time limit to eat. I did not find myself needing one and a half hours, but I would imagine for others. This would be a con. I’m very pleased with the quality of the sashimi being that I have been to many sushi places which carried lower quality fish. I would highly recommend to anyone who is craving all you can eat sushi!

Les serveurs étaient forts agréables, mais le poisson était congelé et ne goûtait absolument rien, le riz ne collait pas non plus.on aurait dit des restants de la veille au mieux et, honnêtement, charger 40$ pour un fond de frigo, c'est un peu une arnaque

Personally, I can't get enough from that place, although they have removed some tasty meals from the menu, which is the only reason I removed 1 star.

Qualité et variété insuffisantes pour qu'on y retourne. Service très moyen et.en anglais! La propreté laisse à désirer.
On a voulu essayer, mais on n'a pas été séduits. On retournera où on avait l'habitude.

Good beef ribs but salmon pieces are too fatty that’s 4 stars, also they’re a bit slow. But overall great food!

Missing items and accusing owner. My first 1 star review too. I ordered a combo with sashimi through facedrive foods, when it got here, there was no sashimi. I contacted the support, they said ok lemme send the photo to the restaurant. The restaurant got back and said NO we gave you sashimi, and red-circled on my photo. They circled the GINGER. Basically accused me for lying. Hey hello excuse me do you even see the size of the box no sashimi would even fit there. After I picked out the ginger for a video, they refused to refund me too. Only gave 1/3 back and they were like we're being generous.bruh.

They will ask for the vaxi code and a piece of id which is good.sushi and sashimi are good and fresh, but they don't give you unless u push them to check even u've ordered 30 mins ago.tempura and other hot food are very dry and hard.service is below the average, almost no service except taking the menu and delivering dishes.i can't say the stuff are impolite, but they are really cool and don't want to response the customers. $35 before tax and tip, soft drink are not included in all u can eat.they only have one spot in the bathroom.really dirty bathroom.if u have no choice this is the last choice.

Food was good, but the seating is a little crowded and cramped, which I didn't love. They were also missing a few key rolls and dishes that I would normally expect to see at a place like this. The service was also a little slow and we never recieved a few of the things we ordered and were brought a few things we didn't order and didn't want. Overall it was ok, but I would probably try somewhere else if I wanted sushi in downtown Montreal again.

Sushi waa great, I had the Salmon Maki roll and the Spicy Salmon, both great. No issues with anything and it was a pleasent experience.

It was really bad experience here l, i just order sushi and the person make us wait at the entrance. He don’t have manners to talk and was so rude.

Not coming again to this restaurant, mentioned at the door that last call is 2: 50 p.m came to as at 2: 20 saying that last call is at 2: 30

Best all you can eat Ive ever been to, every single thing we ordered came out on point- mind blowingly good, a pleasant surprise trying each new thing that came out. The rice is so fresh and actually a pleasure to eat, as opposed to the majority of other AYCE places. No complaints with the food whatsoever. The service was fast too, however our main server (she must be new, maybe?) didn't know much about the menu (couldn't answer questions), and really didn't seem motivated or aware of the pace of the restaurant. Anyway, we'll be back for sure!

Decent food. Service was pretty rude. The server never came around to us and we had to flag him down each time. The server would stare at us and go somewhere else, completely ignoring us MULTIPLE TIMES. In the end I paid in cash and my SO paId on card. I asked her to make sure to tip (even tho service was bad) since I didn’t have enough cash change to give a “standard” tip. Then our server screams at other servers about us and then later comes by our table to confront us and throw a tantrum.

I would bellow a 1. My experience was so bad, literally no flavor at all in that place, the only thing that had more flavor than these dishes combined is the water they provide you. Avoid the tuna nigiri

Mediocre sushi that you can find at any other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. They add a lot of rice and not much of the sashimi itself and they also forgot part of our order. I wouldn't come back nor go here just to eat with friends when invited.

This place is amazing, I tried every sushi bar in town but THIS one! The staff is adorable and so quick, I recommend to everyone!

Good food, sushi was on point. Service was good and quick too. All you can eat. We went for lunch, the price was decent. Though it has less choice than dinner, but we ate all we wanted. Would recommend

Assez coûteux (40$ environ incluant le pourboire) pour des sushis pas toujours très frais et certainement pas de la meilleure qualité. Il semble qu'un seul serveur puisse parler français, bien que d'autres s'introduisent par le fameux 《bonjour/hi》. Ça limite pas mal à ça.

Soyez avertis si vous êtes un groupe de 8, le pourboire sera de facto compris dans la facture. C'est une pratique qui interroge voire c'est franchement arrogant connaissant le service normal des sushis à volonté.

We've ordered take-out and have gone to Fisshu for buffet. Most of the sushi/maki is very good, we just found that the dessert rice balls were not as authentic as we hoped.

Formule buffet à volonté, dans l'ensemble c'est assez correct. Quelques pièces avaient un goût weird comme les rouleaux de printemps:/ Et le service, qu'est ce que c'est long, on nous a oublié plusieurs sushis lors de la commande, obligés relancer les serveurs 2 fois.

We decided to give Fisshu a try based on recommendations from a friend. Honestly, we were quite disappointed and couldn't finish our food.
While we enjoyed the salmon sashimi, almost everything else we ordered (sushi, makis, tempura, teriyaki) did not taste good. There was either too much mayo/sauce or the texture was chewy and dry. I felt overwhelmingly full, but not from eating too much - it just did not taste good.

Their salmon is great here, notably fresh flavour. The service was slow, but maybe it was just because of COVID. I would try them out again

Les nigiris et les sashimis sont super bon le poisson est de qualité par contre le bœuf est souvent trop cuit (brochette) les petites brioches sont trop bonne sur place c'est super mais en livraison ils oublient souvent des trucs enfin le restaurant sur place est super! ^^

I ordered the 68 pieces combo; there were just 4 different kind of sushi, really disappointed. I also asked for spicy mayonnaise, they never put it in.

Bon restaurant à volonté. Les poissons étaient frais, le riz était bon. Les sushi n’étaient pas trop chargés en riz et le poisson en tranches fines.
Le service agréable parfois lent ou trop rapide et l’accueil simple. Le tout pour 22$ environ le soir en 2019. Mais depuis 2020 on passe à 29$ le soir plus taxes et évidemment le pourboire.

Nice decor and ambiance. A bit on the pricey side, but the food was delicious. There was a bit of a mix up where they tried to give us food we didn't order. It got sorted out The restaurant was busy and no line up

La nourriture est superbe la deco magnifique une bonne ambiance mais le staff est 0 souriant ils sont gentils mais pas de bonne humeur, sauf le serveur avec les lunettes et la boucle d'oreille qui est LE MEILLEUR!

Tres mauvaise experience dimanche 2 fevrier.le restaurant avait apeine 5 tables et le service etait extrement lent et a chaque fois que nous demandions quelquechose la commande etait menquante.je suis un client regulier et nous venons toujours a 4.et le comble c est que le serveur est venu me dire " vous avez commandé beaucoup de moules et de calamar essayer quelquechose d autre" excusez moii? C est un all you can eat et je paye mon souper pour qui tu te prend pour me dire quoi manger.extremement decu.

After making a reservation, my group still had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. The sushi itself is delicious but the service could been better.

Horrible food, all fish seemed off with no taste. Service was decent but way overpriced considering quality of ingredients.

We decided to try this place because of the large wall with Hokusai's wave that we noticed from the street. It's a very good all-you-can-eat sushi with great choices!

Malheureusement, j'ai le regret de ne mettre que 2 étoiles pour ce restaurant. Je m'explique, vous pouvez y aller le soir pour un bon souper, service très plaisant, sushi aussi, avec un très beau cadre. En ce qui concerne le repas du midi, on perd la plupart des choix sur le menus, qui devient très pauvre donc. Aussi les sushis ne sont pas si généreux en poisson que pour le souper avec beaucoup trop de riz.

Would leave zero stars if possible. Slowest all you can eat sushi experience I’ve ever had and half the food didn’t even arrive. Spoke to two different servers about the missing items, which didn’t seem to help the situation as nothing else came out. After about 15 minutes of no food arriving we left.

Wow! I've never seems smaller slices of sashimi! Otherwise, for an all-you-can-eat sushi place oh, it certainly is expensive. I think next time we'll probably just order a la carte sushi, and get a little less but at a higher quality.

They have the same choices of food as the rest of the sushi place in downtown, but they do have extra "unique" plates of their own like the onigiris (they call it rice balls)

Went there for lunch for my bday. Salmon sashimi was not fresh. We sent the rest of the sashimi back, uneaten. So dissapointing when you know that the kitchen should not have let that happen. The maki rolls were meh. Didnt dare eat too much at lunch. Sushi always make for great photo op tho. That's the bright side along with the mango ice cream and being with my wonderful generous friend that I haven't seen for ages.

Great service & speedy staff.
Only complaint is that we weren't informed about the $2/bottle & 50¢/can corking fee when we made our dinner reso, so it was a nasty little surprise at the end of our meal.

Went here during lunch. Food was excellent, service was quick but be warned, when I went the restaurant was empty but all the tables except the bar were available. After about 15 minutes of sitting, the restaurant was full. Be sure to have reservations if going for lunch in a group.

Service was slow, waited 20 minutes to get the bill after asking for it and we didn't get half the food we ordered.sushi wasn't the best and the meat products were cold even after being (questionably) freshly cooked

Poor quality food (paper thin slices of fish), poor service, dirty glasses (had to ask for water glass to be replaced by clean one twice in a row), cramped seating.

Le restaurant est petit, et les tables sont rapprochées et petite. On avait unne table a deux juste devant la caisse au milieu de la salle mais a chaque fois que la porte d'extérieur s'ouvre une vague de froid nous attaques.jai trouvé menu bien expliqué d'accord une photo accompagne chaque élément et c'est un point fort.le service n'était plutôt rapide d'ailleurs on avait demander d'arrêter le reste des commandes car a force d'attendre on perd l'appétit.sinon les fritures étaient bonnes, les sushis avait la taille, la coupe te volume parfait donc pas de gaspillage mais je nai pas trouvé frais car je fréquentes ce genre d'endroit souvent.un point fort que jai jamais vu dans une telle.place c'est qu'il avait un show (un concert live) dans le restaurant mais je nai pas eu l'occasion de voirr car on avait finis. Bref je le recommandes

It used to be decent a few years ago. Food now is just dry *Not fresh*, and tastes awfull. Female at the cash Came up to me and was quicker to deliver the bill rather then anything else. The whole staff is rude, Save your money go eat somewhere else please.

Literally the worst restaurant I've ever seen in my entire life, not even exaggerating. The day of their promotional opening people waited in the cold from 5pm to 11pm starving till the very end, they knew they were going to receive a lot of people yet they didn't limit the times inside per client. Lack of common sense, organization, and customer service, I will never set foot or spend a dime in this god forsaken place, nor will I ever recommend it to family and friends. There's much better places like Seoul Chako or Kagayaki.

J avais l'habitude d'aller souvent dans ce restaurant par le passé, il vient de changer de nom et de propriétaire, je le déconseille fortement maintenant! Nous avons eu des sashimis de saumon la couleur était bleue. Nous avons montré cela au restaurateur et pour lui c'est normal le sang du saumon est bleu.les makis n'étaient pas frais. La viande avait la texture du plastique en bouche. Bref, nous n'avons presque rien mangé et le restaurateur n'a fait aucun geste commercial pour s'excuser. Nous n'irons plus jamais de notre vie dans ce restaurant.

Overall good experience, price is fairly cheap for lunch hour. Quality of food was good but not amazing. Service fairly responsive even during their busy times. Plenty of room and space for your table, I enjoyed and would recommend.

Pretty awesome place, my favorite for ayce in Montreal. It is a bit expensive per person and not the widest selection of sushi, all that said everything they serve is excellent. BYOB only, the real downside if there is one is no booze from the restaurant.

A decent sushi eating place. Lots of variety. All you can eat.
Now there are the downsides.
The restaurant is as noisy and chaotic as like a village gathering. It’s not their fault though. Montreal is a pitiful place for Asian food and guess they have never seen anything like this uhm?
The sushi are excessively sweet. It’s really not authentic or healthy to the least. But again it’s not their fault. Guess in Montreal they have to do it in a sugared way.
Also btw they lost our order at some point. We had to order again and waited a little bit longer.

Hands down, probably my worst sushi buffet experience EVER. I know that "worst" is a strong term to use, but that was exactly how I felt. I would like to say that the food was relatively decent, but the thing is that, this place is falsely advertising AYCE as their menu. Whenever I check the more expensive items on the AYCE sheet, they purposely "forget" about that. Why even bother putting it on the menu? By the time we had finished filling out our 2nd sheet, the waiter ignored us, as if 2 rounds was enough. We came as a group of 5, and we should obviously order more food, right? After that, the staff stared us down, as if they're trying to say "please leave now". In fact, we did. Would've left little-to-no tip, but the tip was already added into the bill. Seriously? You could even expect better service at the Burger King across the street.

Absolutely terrible experience today! The food quality was as bad you can imagine, very far from what’s called (sushi) if you have ever tried descent places you’ll tell the difference. Costumer service? Oh god the worst I ever had in my life, the waiter was extremely nervous with minimal polite level of speaks, and kept insisting we done the order although I was 100% sure I haven’t! When payment time, I chose a no-tip option when the cashier alerted me that tips ain’t included in the receipt, I notified her of being upset of the service quality, I had very bad facial expressions as a reaction and not even a sorry at least!
Keep away from this terrible like sushi place.

If the menue had photos we could know what we are ordering in advance. Sone of what they have was too oily that you cannot eat and they have a penalty for not eating all of what you have ordered.

To begin with, the waiter were yawning the moment we walk into the restaurant. Then when he sits us down, there is no any greeting at all.he just simply put the paper and walk away. At the point, we just want to leave the restaurant, but since we are both really hungry, we decided to stay and give it a try for the foods. Here comes the nightmare, not only they missed our sashmi orders (we didn’t even order a lot.at most 4 pieces), our foods were super slow while the other tables were constantly full of foods. After complaining with their manager about how slow our foods were, it doesn’t seems like they made any improvements at all.
At the end, when we went up to the counter and pay, the cashier lady were playing her phone!
In general, it was the worst experience we ever had and we definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO GO!

Last time I was there for my birthday (about 2 weeks ago) with 10 of my friends. I was honestly quite impressed with their service, because a lot of us ordered individually or in groups of 2-3 people, and they brought our food at the right people! I haven't experienced that in other all you can eat (AYCE) sushi places. The staff at Fisshu we're quite organized, and this was on a Saturday night (thus peak time)! Also, their food is quite good! I would definitely go back! I only wish they served tuna sashimi, although to be fair, most AYCE sushi places don't serve tuna sashimi, unfortunately.
