Je n’avais jamais mangé de nourriture japonaise dans ce genre et j’ai beaucoup apprécié. Notre serveur a pris le temps de bien nous expliquer le menu et nous a fait goûter à quelques sakés puisque nous n’étions pas familiers avec cet alcool. Mon plat préféré a été le canard! Bref, c’était une bien belle expérience

Amazing food (esp chirashi) but also they have the kind of sake you just cannot find in this city (nama!). Great service. Strongly recommended!

Went to Fleurs et Cadeaux tonight to have dinner with my best friend on his birthday. If you ever go there, please order the Udon noodle, it was one of the top 5 foods i have ever eaten in my life omg

There was a few mishaps in the order but our waiter/bartender Olivier showed super customer service skills by offering a complementary plate in compensation. He was also very knowledgeable in advising different menu and sake options.

Last but not least, we finished our evening in the speakeasy bar downstairs where we had a delicious cocktail and enjoyed the impeccable vibes of the place. A true Montreal gem

Allez chez fleurs et cadeaux pour TOUT gouter et TOUT partager. La cuisine est d'une haute maitrise des saveurs dans une ambiance intimiste. Le service était vraiment attentionné et aux petits soins. J'ai absolument tout adoré. Aucune fausse note, un grand bravo!

Everything was amazing here and easily one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. It was definitely a full experience more than just food. Server made us feel like we're visiting family and she was super warm and attentive. Food was really tasty and we ordered 5 different dishes and all were great. Their fried chicken was not exactly what we usually like, but we're glad we gave it a try. We had a great time here and will go back to this restaurant for sure next time we visit Montreal.

What a place! Great energy and extensive sake list. Expect to spend a lot here if you want to get full, though. Chirashi was tasty but a bit pricey, and the rice is seasoned a lot which is a shame, as the special aged soy sauce they serve it with becomes unnecessary at that point. Recommend the agedashi tofu and onsen eggs - total standouts! Worth checking out for the excellent vibe as well as the quality food.

Insanely delicious food. Service was impeccable. Music by the dj was perfect and the environment was cozy and luxurious.

A great place to go before a night out or to share small dishes, incredibly fresh seafood and they carry cool things like aged soy sauce and great cocktails. Especially love the service there! The atmosphere is a bit louder as they love to play their music (we loved it), and people there are very happy. Tried the sashimi and sweet and soy sauce chicken, lots of great options to choose from.

Une réelle surprise! Gros coup de coeur sur le tataki de thon, et le canard fumé, un délice! Je recommande les yeux fermés!

Lovely hidden restaurant in Chinatown. I enjoyed the cozy ambiance and its friendly staff. Food was delicious, particularly the seafood. Highly recommend the chirashi, the sashimi was really fresh and melted in your mouth. The uni (sea urchin) mousse with shrimp chips was also one of my favourites. It was unique, flavourful and well-balanced. Unfortunately, the duck and steak took a really long time to arrive and was a little cold to our liking but flavours were on point and was still enjoyable. Cocktails were great. Dessert was delicious, get the hojicha crème brûlée! Overall, a great place to dine.

I can't get enough of this place, one of my favorite spots, luscious food, the white miso aged duck is a must! I love the vibe and the great music selection, and the amazing cocktails in sans soleil

Service was fine, the prices are ridiculous and the portions are very very small. Avoid the duck, it was so charred it was straight up black, my stomach hurt really bad after eating it.

Literally the best sushi I have ever had in Canada! Strongly suggest you go for the house suggested sampler.

Good fish/sashimi. The rest of the dishes were alright, nothing stood out to me. The only thing I would go back for is the sea urchin mousse chips. Kinda overhyped imo?

Amazing restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely. I really enjoyed the miso aged duck, toro sashimi and tantan udon. I will definitely be back!

Nous sommes venu une petite gang et nous avons tout essayé et c'était unanime: c'est l'un des meilleurs restaurants! Petit plats à partager entre amis dans un endroit festif.

Food was average but the waitress had such a bad attitude that it ruined our night. Made us wait for 30 min for a plate and when asked she replied “but didn’t you just finished the last plate”. Will not be visiting again for sure.

We came to dine in and server led us to basement, so this review is for the downstair sitting. The music was loud, service was bad, slow and ignorant, lightning was too dark (much darker than a regular bar). Drink menu does not have anything special. For a japanese bar, you better look somewhere else. One star is for the sashimi and caviar as they were fresh and good quality, but price is not worthy.

One of the best restaurants ive been in a while! The fish (sashimi) was amazing, chicken and duck to die for. Only comment is that the drinks were a little bit overpriced. Overall 10/10

La nourriture est incroyable. Pour sortir de ta zone de confort, je te le conseille fortement. Les produits sont frais avec des saveurs très bien équilibrées. Une gros wow pour moi!

Would have given 4 stars if not for the "sous-sol" and the ambiance it brings. Food is fresh, nice small menu with possibly something for everyone granted that you like Japanese food. I found the prices for the portions received a little on the $$ side but like I said, the place is special, the service is good. Worth a visit. Reserve in advance can get busy from 7-8pm onwards. Cool atmosphere and outstanding food. Everything tasted amazing, although the noodles were a bit too al dente per my preference. Chirashi bowl is a must, with real wasabi and pickled ginger. Got a cocktail that went great with the food too.

Portions are tiny and it’s overpriced. I don’t get the hype about it.
Buuut, the staff was really nice, excellent service.

Tried the sashimi and udon. They were good but unfortunately not amazing. Sashimi was way too expensive for the quality and quantity. Udon was good but too expensive. Go there if budget not an issue.

Menu épuré de qualité. Bonne carte des vins. Service sympathique et très professionnel (en ce temps de pénurie de main d'oeuvre c'est du gros luxe).

My favorite dish was the aged miso duck and the udon tantan.

Very Very nice discovery. Cool little location (always passed by but never thought that It was a restaurant) so let’s start. Super friendly staff who gave great recommendations + a nice sense of humour.
The Wine & Sake list is spot on you can come in just for that and you’ll be pretty satisfied. But then again if you do so you’ll be missing out on the sashimi’s and the duck (oh the duck). If it’s your first time I’d Recommend the big sashimi platter where you get to try all the Sashimi so you could add up the ones you like after + the duck like it’s nothing big but wow the texture and taste is on the next level. For dessert we had the Grilled Mochi and wow the mix of a grilled mochi and a nice ice cream was just mind blowing. Would definitely come back.

One of my favourite hidden gems. Go there for the sashimi (although everything tasted like heaven), drinks and cool vibe.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely evening. Every single dish was amazing. They have a great list of alcoholic beverages, from orange wines to sakes. The waitress gave us detailed explanations on a lot of them and her recommendation was spot on!
We had the sea urchin mousse with shrimp chips (which my boyfriend really enjoyed.) Then the miso aged duck which was incredible. We had yuzu pressed flambé salmon nigiris topped with tobiko. To end the night we had the 2 desserts that were on the menu, the grilled mochi was my favourite. It was one of the best desserts I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I'd have it every day if I could. It was that good! My boyfriend had the crème brûlée. I cannot recall the flavour of the cream as I did not personally enjoy it much.
We will definitely go back!

Absolutely spectacular experience. We had Evelien (hope the spelling is accurate) who was super wonderful! We had more than one sample of every single sake and they were were all quite different and flavourful. The sake was all unique and seemed to be well selected since the variety was quite large.

The food was exquisite. Each dish had a different flavour to it and the portions were actually quite good. I will say the final bill was not cheap but we spent about 4 hours there and the staff at no point made us feel unwelcome or like it was time to leave. Evelien even brought us a dessert.

We had requested a variety of dishes and sake and were not disappointed. I think the sushi bowl that came with the rice paper was the favourite. We were able to roll our own…rolls. The tuna was perhaps my favourite that came with a delightful chimichuri garlic paste/sauce.

Would certainly recommend and will be back. 100%.

Nice trendy restaurant with delicious Japanese food. Authentic wasabi root which is rare sight even in Montreal! Nice variety of dishes. The only downside was the 2 thin slices of wagyu pieces for 26$ felt way overpriced. Other dishes are more reasonable.

The interior of this place is really nice. Very different from how it looks from the outside. Everything we tried out that day was spectacular. The sashimi were such great quality and tasted amazing. We were seated near the open kitchen and was amazed at how beautiful they were plating the dishes.

It’s a great place with great atmosphere to have a glass and some small dishes. We didn’t know before arriving and came here to feast and was still very satisfied. The waiters were all really generous.

The salmon and scallop sashimi was excellent quality combined with real wasabi. The tantan udon noodles were the absolute star though along with the cool atmosphere.

The atmosphere was really nice, the staff is really friendly and sushis were exquisite! Really recommend for date!

Merveilleux endroit! La musique est excellente, bon vibe, j’adore qu’ils passent un peu de funk! Je suis venue essayer cet endroit by myself on m’a accueillie au bar chaleureusement et on m’a servi le meilleur sour que j’ai essayé de ma vie! (Shochu Sour) SO à l’artiste derrière le Bar Violette merci pour cette première exp!
