Fondue de Pékin

It takes quite a long time for food to come but the atmosphere is amazing and most ingredients are great!

Nice place and good service but the food isn’t as good as we expected. Most meat we had are frozen and the sauces table was a bit messy.

Excellent service, concept différent, parfait pour un souper en famille ou entre amis, le tout à prix plus que raisonnable.

La bouffe était bonne mais ils mettent presque pas de chauffage (54 F). Même les serveurs ont travaillé en manteau d’hiver.

A superb hotpot place with multiple types of broth offerings and a generous list of quality hotpot ingredients topped with a superb sauce cart to build our own sauces.

It's a very fun and delicious experience overall. However, they often seem to run out of slotted spoons to accomodate those who enjoy cooking their food with such tools.

The people working there are also effective on service, but initially only seem to be helpful when asked upon rather than helping us figure out the ordering system from the start (for newcomers) and teaching us how the rest of the things work.

The ordering system consists of scanning a QR code with our phones to access a table specific menu then ordering from a single phone to make orders easier. It has a learning curve of varying difficulty. This could be solved by just assigning us an ipad in a shockproof/waterproof case.

Anyhow once you figure out the ordering system, the rest of the evening is quite fun and most of all very delicious.

J'ai beaucoup aimé les bouillons super savoureux! De façon générale tout était bon, la viande délicieuse avec les différents bouillons.

It is a AYCE hotpot, but they don't bring you the amount of food that you have ordered. Bringing less and smaller portions at a time instead of the amount that I ordered.
A few items that I ordered several times were never brought to my table. Overall not impressed, I prefer the self serve concept I can pick how much I want and to ️ for freshness of the items.
Broth is very light, not much flavor and refill with hot water.

It was a good experience. I really like the booths. I like the fact that you can order the ingredients for the hotpot and have them delivered to your table. The only inconvenience is that the pots are on a heat circle instead of in a heat ' hole' in the table

The sauces don't offer that much variety but the choices of ingredients to pick make up for it.

Très bon concept et la salle à manger est belle et spacieuse. On commande ce qu'on veut grace au site web et il n'y vraiment pas beaucoup de délai entre la commande et la livraison à notre table. Seul point faible, c'est que les serveuses prennent pour acquis que l'on sait comme ça fonctionne. On aurait apprécier quelques explications. Finalement, personne ne parle français.

Une superbe expérience! Merci encore nous venons en général 1 à 2 fois par mois, toujours un plaisir!

Really nice first hotpot experience in a restaurant in Montreal South Shore area! The waitresses really helped us understand how to order through the QR code website, cook food in the hotpot and mix our own sauces! We each had our own broths half and half for the same price as one of the same. It was really tasty! Some are a little spicy so don’t hesitate to ask for which are less spicy. The Tom Yum broth and the mushroom broth are not very spicy and really good! The mushroom sauce and the sesame butter sauce are also very good! The lamb meat and marinated beef and chicken is really good. Also spinach and bokchoy in the broth is really nice as well as egg noodles! Service was really fast although there it started to get full later on and service took a little longer, but we stayed longer and weren’t rushed out so it was really nice! Highly recommend!

Le personnel est tres courtois. Les bouillons sont quand même excellente. Bonne variété de nourritures pour les fondues. Bon conseil, réservez avant d'y aller. Souvent, le restaurant est tout le temps pleins.

Mon restaurant préféré! Les bouillons sont excellents et goûteux (Tom Yum est mon préféré). Le jus de melon d'HUBER est délicieux. J'aime que l'on puisse faire notre propre "sauce" en accompagnement au comptoir libre-service. Le service est rapide et courtois. Je recommande +

I am a Chinese and I eat hot pot all my whole life. Never had problem ever. Yesterday I went to this hot pot restaurant with my girlfriend, The next day both of us had diarrhea. I suffered from severe food poisoning and I am dehydrated all day long with vomiting, fever, and paralysis. I couldn't even work. The food and sauce are not fresh, and do not go here if you don't want same experience with me

It's much slower than it used to be. There was only one person serving tables. You have to order online but the QR code couldn't be read by my phone and the process was confusing. Items we ordered never came. Considering the price increase it was disappointing.

Used to be a great place. It can be a bit confusing if you are not used to hot pot, but ask questions and don't be afraid to try things. The lamb is a very good choice as were all the tofu and vegetables. Location is very well kept. Take your time and enjoy!

Food always feels fresh! Great choices as well. We went on a Monday and there was only one waitress and it got kind of busy so service got understandably slower. Kind of wanted to help her out because the lamb wasnt coming out fast enough for a table of 7. Haha always liked their creamy corn soup base! But it becomes clumpy near the end because so much lamb is cooked in there! Overall great experience as always:) Strongly recommended for hot pot joint!

My family deserves to dine in this restaurant. We frequently demand some meat slices (lamb, beef and pork) and there are some varieties of dipping sauces. That's because this is "all-you-can-eat" hot-pot cuisine.

The food was good, had a lot of choices. But it was a bit chilly in the restaurant.

Also the tea (which didn't taste like tea), was very good and sweet.

The food was fresh and I love how everyone has their own individual hot pot. The service tonight, however, was severely lacking due to the restaurant being understaffed on a busy Saturday night (I do sympathize with our waitresses though, they were doing their best under the circumstances). It was 6: 15pm when we sat down and by the time we left, it was 9: 53pm. The meat was served at least an hour after everything else and it took a very long time to get our beverages. I'm not one to have high expectations in terms of quality of service in an asian restaurant, but for a hot pot restaurant where everything is mostly just raw ingredient prep, I find the wait was way too long. It's a pity though, because the dingku broth was very tasty and the evening would have been more enjoyable had it not been dragged out in the span of four hours.

4.5 stars! Very good soup bases with many choices! Great varieties of selection as well! Recommended! Better than the choices from downtown Montreal! Lost. 5 star cuz we didn't get all we ordered! Sometime missing!

Service too slow, you need to wait one hour to get your meat (plus remind them many times during the waiting) and they seems try in purpose to delay giving you meat because we saw that after the waitress told boss and pointing our table to the boss, the boss still turned around and doing some other not urgent tasks.

The meat and homemade fish paste are nice. The vegetables are sometime not as fresh but edible. Service is a bit slow just because there is only 1 main waiter/waitress and I believe 1 person that gets the food out. The broths are a bit disappointing since they are a bit underseasoned. Overall it's just an OK place, still enjoyed it though.

Amazing place, lots of choices for broth and meats. Taste very on point and the spicy really kick you if you’re willing to give it a go. The only reason for 4 stars is staff need better training and food need to comes out faster and accurate.

Staff is not very attentive if you don’t speak their native tongue. Most of the time they are just running around due to staff shortage and it takes awhile before they attend to you. Food is decent but a bit on the pricier side. Good selection of broths.
When you order dishes that they don’t have, instead of telling you that they don’t have it, they just don’t bring it even if you constantly order it. When you ask the staff they simply say “if we don’t bring it, it means we don’t have it” but how are we supposed to know that? Initially I thought they forgot until I asked and received that response.
Service could be improved, other than that it’s a decent place to go for hotpot in Brossard

The waiters are friendly and helping. The food is delicious and well prepared. The price is affordable. Nice experience.

Very good the only thing is that the lamb and beef dumping had a very gamey taste to them but other than that it was fantastic

I hated the waitress behaviour. We being student don't have enough money we go out to eat once in a month and on top of that this people as for tip for like 20 dollars. It was disappointing experience and they don't even pay full attention to you over that ask foe tip upfrontly as if they went out of the box to serve us. Doing their job with salary then why to ask for tip when people are not happy with the service. Waitress was very rude to talk to. Would never ever go to this place again.

Nous avons adoré! La nourriture est bonne, les portions sont généreuses, l’endroit est propre, le personnel est courtois! Nous le recommandons.

(La seule chose que nous n’avons pas tant aimé est la musique hihihi)

Original review for downtown: The service is really disappointing. The waitresses ignored us most of the time, while the food came out very slowly and in extremely small quantity. The attitude of one waitress was really unprofessional, she looked like she was annoyed to work, and talked to us like we were bothering her. And the price is waaay too expensive compared to other better hotpot prestaurants

Food is really good, the seats are uncomfortable and if you have long legs the booth tables are hard to sit at.

I would’ve given this place 0 stars if I could. Generally the staff are nice and friendly, but the food choices are limited. Not only this but we ordered a few rounds and they started “forgetting” to bring things. Especially the meat and seafood items. Then I proceeded to pay and they automatically charged me 15% gratuity, when I tried to explain to them tips is for service. Good service = good tips, vice versa. The cashier didn’t understand English or French, which was not helpful at all.

It's a good place, but not the best. I noticed that the hoisin sauce was diluted with water. So, it's not really sticking to the meat when you dip your meat in the sauce. The broth is high on smgs. Other than that everything else is fine. They serve a good amount of food. You have pretty much the same variety of choice at an alternative place.

Bonne qualité et beaucoup de choix de sauces. Attention certains plats sont payant si vous en prenez plus qu'un et certains autres sont non disponibles. Le goût est très bon.

Pros: great selection of vegetables and meats. Soup base tastes good. Must try the spicy beef and fish tofu. The beef and lamb are fresh and thin. I like them a lot!

Cons:
Service is below the average. We dined about two hours but no one came to change our plates. I saw only two or three waiters for the entire restaurant. I think it’s an issue with the management team.
The noodles were sticky together.
The price is really tricky. It’s an all you can eat hot pot, but you need to pay for your pot, like $1.99 to $5.99? There are some items you need to pay extra. There are items that you can only order once, and they cost for the second order.

We end up with $166 for four adults and two kids (free). It’s a good place to have hotpot, but it’s not a place I would like or go frequently.

Best hot pot restaurant in Montreal. Food quality is good, portion is generous and service is always beyond standard. Highly recommended!

Endroit pour manger de la vrai fondue chinoise! C'est différent de la fondue chinoise à laquelle on est habitué! C'était bon; j'y ai découvert de nouvelles saveurs! Mon fils de 11 ans a aussi bien aimé!

Excellente fondue chinoise. Grande variété de viandes, de poissons et de crustacés. Les sauces et les bouillons sont succulents. Les légumes sont très frais. Je recommande fortement cet endroit et j'y retournerai. Le service était impeccable. Merci pour cette belle soirée!:)
