Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Conference Centre Gatineau-Ottawa

Staffs are very friendly and room is very clean & nice. Only thing is the breakfast is too normal and too basic since we paid over $20.

Breakfast is not included, it costs $18. Had a bit argument with the staff about should I tip at buffet. I really confused because it is a buffet and no one was serving me. Googled it a bit and found the advices were divided.
Other than that, the room was clean, but has humming noise from the vent. Good location though

Les chambres sont propres et confortable pour le reste ça été une déception. C'est beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'ils offrent sans parler du déjeuner très ordinaire à 17$.

Nice, very clean hotel and comfortable. The small swimming pool was open with reservations. I give only 4 stars because windows don't open (picture window) and the AC is noisy.

Frais de stationnement, pour valet parking très compréhensible, pour stationner moi même mon auto ridicule. Aussi logique que d'aller magasiner dans un magasin et se faire demander de payer un frais pour se stationner en face de leur commerce.
J'avais demande un matelas ferme. Réponse: Ce n'est pas indique dans votre réservation ca change rien car tous nos matelas sont pareils. Résultat, dormi a peine.debout a 4;00AM quitte a 5;45AM. Puisque nous sommes arrive vers 10: 00PM ca fait très chère pour ce que nous avons reçu. Facile a comprendre que les prochaines réservations ne se feront pas a cet hôtel.

No complaints at all! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is just right after the Ottawa-Gatineau bridge, which was perfect. We had a good and comfortable stay.

Great choice with the newly renovated rooms. Much cheaper than options just across the river (especially if you're driving) but almost just as easy to get to places.

All staff we interacted with were fine, but there was a slight aloofness present. Can't comment on the quality of the restaurants or other food options.

Pretty good views of parliament hill from some of the rooms (although a factory does obstruct some of it.

In terms of cons, rooms are a bit on the small side, but were impeccably maintained.

More then 13 days at this hotel for work. I enjoyed it even in covid time. Staff is really passionate and dedicated. Will come back in the future no doubt.

The staff make you feel at home. They are attentive, responsive, courteous, friendly and professional. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and has all the essential amenities. It is minutes away from downtown Ottawa and has a great view of the Ottawa River and Parliament buildings.

I highly recommend this Hotel.

Free upgrade to business king. Just got back from the arctic. This room was everything I could have ever asked for. I felt like a king. The staff were amazing and helpful.

Worst experience. Why pay for services you never get. Should have slept in a 40$ Motel instead. Not a single open restaurant, although when we booked, breakfast was listed for 16$. Could not even get one cup of coffee in the morning. They did not give us access to the pool although it was listed as well. And the funny part is they have also charged us for parking, and tried to charge us for internet

L'hôtel est vraiment bien, noté 3/5. C'était propre, les procédures mises en place pour freiner la contagion étaient appropriées. La chambre que j'ai vue était spacieuse, avec un mobilier relativement récent. Énorme écran télévision braqué en plein en face du lit pour les amateurs de cinéma. Portes extérieures fermées à clé et l'hôtel n'est accessible qu'à la clientèle. Le lit était confortable et très grand. Location idéale pour être à proximité du pôle Gatinois de la fonction publique fédérale (Place du Portage), de plusieurs restaurants et de divers pubs et bars meublant la vie nocturne dans le secteur.

Went to Sheraton for a conference. Their rooms are well lit, spacious and ideal for holding conferences, seminars, etc. The staff service is also very professional and efficient. Food was good and can cater to all dietary requirements. Lastly, the location of the hotel is extremely ideal. Just across the road from the Museum of Civilization and very well connected to Ottawa via public transit.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was clean, the employees were super friendly, and the location is excellent. Also, the breakfast was super delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall the rooms were nice and spacious, the only thing they could improve is the space in their gym. It's pretty cramped in there as soon as you get more than 2 people in there.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for a training even nearby. First time using mobile key which was amazing. Very clean, quiet and friendly staff. There is a small bar/pub to grab a drink and food. There is paid parking on site but also public lots behind the hotel. Nicely located near the museum as well.

First floor restaurant has good price range food choices and they are tasty. They also offer free beer before 6pm (i think, no sure).

Très bel hôtel, bien situé dans la ville. La chambre était très propre, avec un lit double très grand, la salle de bain est très bien entretenue, au 5ème étage, nous avions une belle vue.
La réception répond volontiers aux questions, le restau de l'hôtel est délicieux. Les serveurs sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Le personnel est très agréable.
Si c'était à refaire, je n'hésiterai pas.

Booked room with two beds for myself (I do not like keeping my clothing in the drawers, do not want to forget it). I always put it on the other bed. Hotel decided to give me room with one king size bed. Unacceptable! Was checking in with my parents at 4: 15pm. Room was not ready. On my question when is check in time I got the answer that it is "around 4pm"? What is that? Since when do we get check in around 4pm? Will checkout be also around 12pm? When my parents finally got the key. There was a person in the room! They had to go down and get another room? What is going on in this hotel! Very sad to see service level is going down with every stay.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Very cozy & chic atmosphere with a friendly staff. My room was spacious with a great view too. Best of all, I recommend dining at L’Ardoise restaurant (on the lower level). They serve one of the BEST poutines I’ve ever eaten, called “L’Ardoise Poutine”. It has lamb sausage and caramelized sweet red onions. Just fantastic!

Préparez-vous à payer un surplus pour le stationnement. Ce n'était pas mentionné lors de notre réservation d'où mon 4*. Par contre pour le reste, rien à signaler. L'accueil était super. La piscine, petite mais fait la job. Les chambres, grandes et propres. Par contre la fan ne fonctionne pas vraiment dans la salle de bain alors il y a beaucoup de buée après les douches.

Superbe hotel et employes geniaux et aidant. Seul bemol ils ne font plus cela le pay per view les enfants sont un peu decu de ne pas pouvoir faire room service et un film sans publicite mais le reste est genial!

Location is simply outstanding, right next to the Children's museum and Canadian Museum of History.very close to the Ottawa river. Take A boat/ aqua taxi ride to the opposite side of Ottawa river to reach the Parliament Hill.

Rooms were clean, a little small but not too bad. We got the room right in front of the elevators, so it was a little noisy at times. The beds were fine a little too soft for my liking.

Lunch and dinner menu at the hotel is fairy limited and there is no room service, you have to go and grab your food yourself. Breakfast is served from 6: 30 am till 10: 30 am.

I've found a bit of a disconnect with this property since the new management has taken over. We used to run a block of rooms here, but sales management was slow this year in getting back to us so we moved up the street. Hope to be back soon.

I've stayed at hotels over 1,000 nights, and I must admit, I'm picky. This hotel was not only in a great location, but the room was clean, modern, and newly updated. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed getting to sit at the bar, enjoy a glass of wine, do some work and enjoy a lovely dinner, as well as chat with the staff. Highly recommended by this travel enthusiast!

Hotel bien localisé et propre.
Par contre, les chambres sont extrêmement mal insonorisé et jetais placé à côté dune salle réserve au employé et beaucoup de bruit le jour.

Great service (thank you Justin, for a great check in). Good location. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Beds are comfy and we had a nice view. Parking is available at a reasonable price.

Chambre qui communique avec les voisins par une porte très, très mal insonorisée. On entend les voisins parler à voix basse. Ventilation bruyante, mais au moins avec ça on entend moins les bruits avoisinants. Le resto est très bon, j’ai pris le sandwich au poulet pané, portion généreuse je recommande. Personnel poli et courtois rien à dire là-dessus. Gym et piscine propre. Petit stationnement intérieur ($) bien utile pendant les tempêtes. Lit confortable.

I chose this hotel because of location. It is within walking distance from my work and when it’s -38C outside walking heated skyways and underground instead of walking on the street beats anything.
However since January 8,2019 the hotel restaurant, located in the ground floor by the reception, stopped offering room service and decided on a ridiculous grab & go system for a few items. For example: I got here dreaming of just having an onion soup in my room and resting. No, I am obliged to go downstairs and either grab and go something I don’t want to eat if I want to eat in my room or am forced to eat the soup at the restaurant.
There’s a convention in town and the reception area was a circus.
I think room service should be available for those wanting it. Taking it away makes this Sheraton experience especially a Marriot golden elite one seems really mediocre.
Mind you staff is friendly and I got a great clean room. But 3 1/2 stars are the maximum I can give to this hotel now because I believe if you take something away from service you should cost less. I’m paying more now than I paid last year.

Update: I ordered food through the Grab & Go. They told me to come down in ten minutes. I did. I have been at the bar waiting for 35 minutes now and nothing. Definitely worth to just bite the bullet and eat at the restaurant if I’m gonna have to wait for an hour for my food.

Update: food was worth the wait.

Great service. We were stuck at the last day of our stay due to a snowstorm. They have been able to offer us quickly a room for an extra day. Very clean. Also have a little gym!

It’s a 3 star, fairly clean, pool hours are not great but otherwise not a bad bang for the buck. Underground parking is for cars and small suv’s only, 6’ clearance.
