Gorgeous property in central Montreal. The staff is friendly and professional, remembers your name, and is willing and ready to help with any request. Even during the rush of New Year's Eve they didn't miss a beat. Wishing the pool area had a hot tub but otherwise, this is a fabulous hotel to get to know Montreal. The rooms are ultra comfortable and cozy, and gorgeously lit.
Recently stayed at the Four Seasons Montreal. It is a solid 5 star hotel. I would highly recommend if traveling to Montreal. The in hotel restaurant “Marcus” was also top notch.
Just leaving after a four night stay at this wonderful hotel. If you're searching for a nice place to stay in Montreal, this is it.
The location can't be beat. Hotel sits in the heart of downtown Montreal near many shops and restaurants. The staff is warm and friendly, not pretentious at all. And the rooms are stunning - soft lighting and many little details that make you feel warm and cozy. Room service and housekeeping pay attention to tiny details that make the splurge worth the cost. There is also a fantastic gym with tons of great equipment, and a swimming pool and sauna.
Love this place and can't wait to return. Love love!
The Four Seasons is a beautiful place that stands out in the city of Montreal. The staff is outstanding: they go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. The rooms are clean and well maintained.
Our three-day honeymoon fell short of the expected five-star experience. Issues arose such as missing toothbrushes, a faulty TV, and uncomfortable robes. A mishap with a malfunctioning bathtub drain led to a minor injury - a health risk at best. Despite the staff's friendliness, a long wait for breakfast and an unexpected charge for bread was disappointing. A compensatory bottle of wine couldn't make up for the overlooked details, especially during such a special occasion.
It's always been one of the best hotels in Montreal. From the rooms; the location and more importantly, the staff. They excel in the customer service field and it's truly a pleasure to stay there.
Highly recommend many visits and avoid the construction season at all costs!
Over rated hotel and restaurant. How do you justify charging $90 for filet de Sole, served with way too loud music. Loved the glass curtains, the restrooms and the location very near Wanda stripclub!
Excellent housekeeping staff, nice central location, hotel adjacent to Montreal’s hi-end shopping mall, and a new hotel with fine room accommodations. Our 7th 4 Seasons property this past year and the only one with below avg service. Very impersonal and rude greeting upon arrival. No one to include the front desk, doorman, or restaurant staff tried to be friendly or even address us by our names. The breakfast service and food at the on-site restaurant is pathetic. Very poorly trained staff. At times we thought the staff was playing a game with us: poured coffee not in a cup but on our table, dropped food in our laps, and argued with us. So bad was the service that on our 3rd day we ordered room service to avoid the restaurant. Fortunately, the food and server both proved to be excellent. However, the room service charge was $1437. When asked about this, the front desk person said “an oversight “. The GM did apologize and credited our bill for the numerous service missteps.
4 stars for the facilities, beautiful, well maintained, clean, well decorated. Just lacking outlets in the common areas to work from like the lounge.
3 stars because of service. It’s a luxurious and expensive place, yet the service doesn’t measure up. I got a lot of judgment for my very average car when I arrived at Valet, where the staff questioned me and doubted me having a room at the hotel. It was insulting. Then I couldn’t get anyone at night at the valet to bring my car. In the lounge, nobody comes to you to offer food or drinks. You constantly have to search for staff.
Absolutely phenomenal hotel experience. From the moment we entered we felt well taken care of. The doorman remembered our names the next day, the front desk staff were happy to help my wife practice her french and give helpful recommendations.
The rooms are tasteful and elegant. It is a newer Four Seasons property, and it shows. All the amenities you would expect at a luxury hotel. Cannot recommend it enough!
We have been to a few Four Seasons in different cities and countries but only for the restaurant and bars. We stopped for a few drinks and most other locations have high class and romantic bars, the bar here is more of a night club atmosphere and very loud. It is not what we expected given our experience with other location.
The Hotel is very beautiful. The service is terrible. They forgot to do turndown service. The room wasn‘t made from 8 am when we left room until Lunchtime. In restaurant you wait for food, if it ever arrives. Overalls a very mediocre experience considering the price.
Amazing hotel pristine condition dedicating, caring and helpful staff. Remarkable and spacious leaving spaces, Rooms are stunning and well decorated, outstanding.
- perfect location - excellent service - the room was impeccably clean and very spacious - overall room and hotel design / feeling is amazing - Cosy-chill vibe - pool, sauna and hamam area is beautiful and very relaxing in the heart of the city - bonus point for heated and automatic toilets in the main bathroom ;)
I sincerely can only recommend this place and I already look forward to my next stay!
The Four Seasons Hotel in Montreal is new and fantastic! The accommodations are superlative as is the staff. Excellent location. Our package was through American Express and included breakfast. The room had a kettle so we could have hot drinks at our leisure. The room also had snacks and a good selection of alcohol.
This is a new property that is very well done. Wonderful architecture, very nice, clean rooms. The service is amazing, the staff is totally committed to making every minute perfect. Highly recommend!
The Four Seasons is a great hotel. Breakfast was 8ncredible. Parking lot right in front, entrance on Saint Catherine. The hotel's location could not be better.
Our room was great. And of course, staff very friendly. My issue was with the location. The hotel is next to a strip joint. Unlike many other Four Seasons that have a dedicated driveway or entrance on a main street, the only entrance is on a narrow street and on busy times, there is a line up of cars picking-up and dropping-off people. Our driver had to park on a side street when getting us because at peak times the front was always congested. And most of the weekend, they had only one person at the front door coordinating drop offs/pick-ups.
Excellent service au restaurant Marcus. Tous les serveurs/serveuses étaient polis et agréable. Les desserts furent la partie la plus appréciée du repas et a permis de finir sur une note positive.
Ive stayed at Four Seasons in Toronto and Austin. Each location did not disappoint. Montreal is no exception. I live 8 blocks away but I had to see it for myself as a guest. I was very satisfied with the design and layout and view of my suite. The price was within the norm for this chain.about double a Hyatt, but everything was well managed and just about perfect. What I didn't like was consistent disturbance from various staff, from cleaning, to concierge. It was weird. Kind of soured the experience where one wishes to just decompress sans interruption.
Great hotel. Very polite and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast has a great spread, eggs, ham, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit and more. Rooms are clean with a modern design. Comfortable bed as well. I Would definitely come back.
To whom it may concern, I would like to commend a truly outstanding employee Hannah, in Marcus. Hannah has a professionalism and ability to go above and beyond. She is exemplary for your brand. Her very friendly demeanor and commitment to luxury service was stupendous. Our stay in FS Montreal was lovely. It is a superb property! We have had many experiences with Four Seasons and continue to do so. More Hannah's would be a great addition!
My wife and I had our first four seasons experience last week at this location and we were blown away. We’ve stayed at other five star hotels but never the four seasons and everything from start to finish was mesmerizing. They have mastered the experience and this place is worth every penny. One tiny thing that may be a real damper for some people is the beautiful relaxing pool on the 6th floor is for all guests, which means screaming out of control kids for much of the day (we went on a Tuesday). We had the pool to ourselves and one gentlemen for a solid 30 mins but then an army of kids came so we left. It’d be nice if there were adult only hours so those without kids could enjoy the amenities BUT again, an enormously enjoyable experience you must give it a visit.
Absolutely beautiful! Grade A service with a modern and laid back ambiance. Went to the lounge and then the restaurant Marcus. Amazing Waiter that knew his menu very well. Portions are a little small but every food item is bursting with flavor. Went there for a celebration and would go again!
I contacted the hotel in May because I wanted to organize a brunch for a bridal shower. The lady I spoke to was supposed to send me information and menus by email, and even though I reminded her by text message, I never received anything from her. Seeing how unprofessional the service was, I decided on another venue.
Very impressive. This location just opened this year in May and i wanted to try it out to see how it compares to the amazing Toronto location while i was in town for 2 nights.you get what you pay for, i wouldn't expect anything less. But all in all, from the way the staff treats you to the cleanliness/luxury of the whole experience it's definitely worth it to stay here instead of other 5 star hotels.the four seasons experience is like no other
There are so many reasons why it is excellent, I really don’t know where to begin!
So I will be brief and to the point
1. AMAZING STAFF ALL! Valets Front Desk Greeters Bellboys AMAZING WAITRESS WHO IS NOT ONLY A BEAUTIFUL COCKTAIL ROCKSTAR BUT AN AMAZING PERSON AND NO WORD OF A LIE, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH AMAZING SERVICE WHEN I WAS NOT EVEN IN THE BAR! BUT I AM COMING TODAY!
My hats off to your companies incredible training of your staff I have never seen staff that nice in my life and I’ve travelled everywhere in the world London everywhere New York LA everywhere I have never ever seen such friendly people in my life I hope you’re very successful and I know you will be!
Many high-end hotels and restaurants seem to be discriminatory toward younger folk in terms of quality of service (expectation of lower tip, etc) but Four Seasons Montreal seems to be the exception.
The staff are polite, accommodating, and make you feel very welcome. Without any doubt this is the best service I’ve ever experienced and I would strongly recommend choosing this hotel.
Warm thanks to all of the staff, your service was outstanding.
Such a perfect hotel. The decor is stunning, location is brilliant, the service is impeccable.
Rooms are so beautiful and well organized. The way the building was designed is perfect, main reception on the 5th floor. All the staff were so amazing and helpful.
Restaurant is super beautiful and the food was incredible. Go here if you stay in MTL!
Great property and wonderful staff! The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Montreal, tons of great restaurants and activities around. New property, very modern and stylish, beautiful rooms, pool, spa… It's the staff that made the experience even better. We stayed last weekend for our anniversary, from entering the hotel, staff at the door, front desk (Alexis was great), pool are all professional, superb service! The complimentary upgrade and anniversary desert was such a nice touch, much appreciated the hand written card from the GM! Would highly recommend.
Absolutely stunning property. Had a "staycation" with my husband for a few nights and everything from the food to the ambiance and customer service were 5 stars!
Just wanted to say that, this is the hot spot of Montreal, surrounded by great people, amazing staff services, perfect ambiance for whatever mood you are in, they will definitely trigger your happiness and also make sure you have a great time, I also wanted to thank Nicole and Shasha with their amazing skills and services. Thank you guys and the hotel staff.
Everybody I interacted with were from France instead of Montreal. Quite disappointing for a Canadian company. You would’ve taught that they would have thought of something like that. The hotel looks OK but for a Four Seasons It’s less than impressive.
We stayed for a couple of nights and had a fab experience. The hotel is brand new and very cool. Beautiful, really. The bar and restaurant seem to be the place to be in Montreal right now, even on a Tuesday and Wednesday night. And the service was top notch. Definitely our new fave place when we’re in town.
This is only my second trip advisor review despite using this app frequently. I am never compelled to write reviews but this hotel deserves recognition. We are originally from Sydney and arrived from Iceland after a hectic holiday. We were celebrating completion of my fellowship and were unexpectedly upgraded to an executive suite. On arrival to the room, there was a beautiful card and card courtesy of the staff organized by Coline. The following day we went out exploring and Nick the doorman organized a special 4 Season teddy for my daughter with another beautiful card. We dined at Marcus and the food and service was incredible and they were so great with my 5 year old daughter with sticker books and activities. The suite was gorgeous and all the staff exceptional. We have stayed at a 7 star hotel before but this was by far the most outstanding hotel.
Un service hors pair! Juste pour l’anecdote j’ai déchiré mens collants sur la terrasse Marcus, la gérante Nicole m’a non seulement offert des collants mais des verres à mon mari et moi #4seasons #whatelse?
Excellent Services and Hospitality. Absolutely nothing to complaint. My wife's eye glasses broke during room keeping, but the manager and concierge staff had it fix the very next day, every one was on top of this issue and handled it professionally. They really made me feel welcomed and comfortable.
Gym, pool, wet/dry sauna rooms are kept extremely clean constantly. Towel, robes, water, fruits, are full at all time. They also have personal headphones in the gym for you too! I was in the gym for 50+ mins. The staff came in at least 4 times to clean and prep the place.
