Been to every renaissance on the island this is by far the worst.rude employees who laugh at you for asking a simple question, long lines, terrible selection of items. Go somewhere else.

Four floors of clothes, books, accessories, electronics, the works.i come here to peruse their section of vhs tapes and never leave unsatisfied.

I LOVE fripeprix renaissance; but this particular one is the worst.
I never find anything nice. Seem like all the low quality items goes there.

Je ne compte plus le nombre de bonnes affaires que j'y ai fait, les prix sont très abordables, tout est suffisamment trié pour que ce soit facile de s'y retrouver, et il y a un très large choix dans toutes les catégories! Merci Renaissance!

Il n’y a pas assez de choix de qualité surtout côté chaussures, et c’est un peut chère vue que c’est une fripe. En France j’achète des chemises et t-shirt à 1€ ou 2 max

L'endroit parfait où on peut se permettre de faire un peut des folies d'achat pour se gâter vous trouverez sûrement quelques choses à votre goût, Bon magasinage

Un très beau Renaissance avec plusieurs étages et une vaste sélection pour les hommes! Les employés sont accueillant et il y a beaucoup de cabinea d'essayages.

Belle friperie, beaucoup d’étages! Comparé aux autres renaissances de Montréal, celui-ci est un des plus gros. Attention, je vous déconseille de prendre l’ascenseur. Ça va être long!

Magasin d'aubaines répartis sur 4 étages et c'est bien fait. Femmes, hommes, enfants, objets de toutes sortes ont leur étage.
Peut-être que la fois où j'y suis allé, bien de la marchandise dans se que je cherchais était populaire et vendu.

One of my go-to spots whenever I'm on St-hubert. Super close to the metro, very easy to access:)
The selection here is actually pretty good! 3 stories high, so a lot of good separation of categories, no need to shuffle through clothing alleys to get to the electronics.
Not to mention that there aren't any taxes, which is the icing on the cheap price cake! You go there, you find something for sure!

Beaucoup de marchandises bien présentées. Grand magasin. Bon prix. Plein de trouvailles à y faire. On attend longtemps à la caisse parfois.

Imbattable pour les prix, avec une mission à volet communautaire pertinente et valorisante pour l'industrie et les travailleurs.

I love coming to this thrift store. Just came back from it today where I found a small bed for my cat but left it behind. I called in just to ask if it was still available the person on the phone was terribly rude and said we don’t offer this service of holding things. I understand they don’t hold anything which is fine but simply seeing if it’s there is that too much to ask for? Anyways, this is not my point. I feel as though we as a community don’t share values of respect. This person over the phone was about to hang up on me a few times and got really upset but why? I mean that’s just spent energy. Anyways, whomever answered the phone today. I hope you fill yourself with love because the way you offer help / non help is horrible. It’s easy to be a nice person who is understanding and not yell and get angry. A simple, sorry I can’t do that would have been just fine. I hope you really find peace. 2 star is because I love this place & the rest missing is for that awful person who just answered me. K bye. Xoxo

Why not reduce, reuse, and recycle? Stuff is too expensive and has too large a carbon footprint. I shop here and always have a quiet hour browsing books, clothing, and household goods.

Ont récemment beaucoup augmenté leurs prix. En ce temps d'inflation, ce n'est vraiment pas une bonne idée.

Lay out is a little weird but they always have good stuff, they don't jack up prices like other places. Bring your own bags, they don't have them at the cash

Un beau passe temps de cherche et trouve!
Il se sont bien amiliorer.
Quelque accrochage pendant les caisse mais rien de grave.
On entend souvent qu'il ont besoin de preposer a la caisse où il veulent aller a la pause.

This was a diffrent, it was my first time in this place and it had 4 floors lol the only thing is that the elevator is small and the door be closing on people. No danm manner lol besides that it was great

Bel aménagement et accès facile aux articles avec respect des mesures barrières. Il y a plusieurs articles.

C'est une bonne place pour faire des trouvailles pas cher, et maintenant après tous les rénovations c'est super beau à l'intérieur par contre, le service aux caisses est beaucoup trop long.

This renaissance now looks like a stark white hospital with no charm. Disappointed with the "renovation".

Loved the selection in this store. Lots of clothing options and four floors of shopping spanning a variety of items. Changing rooms are closed due to covid. Looking forward to shopping here again!

Great place to pick up old and new things.
Toys and clothes.you name it! 4 floors of stuff! I would take off a point for lack of furniture and access to that sweet basement.but covid man.most places don't even take furniture anymore.

This renaissance is huge! 4 floors. It just doesn't have that good of a selection. Their books are mainly french and in bad condition. The clothes are all dated. And in general it just didn't seem as inviting as other renaissance shops I've been to. But if you're willing to look through everything thoroughly, you will probably find gems.

I spotted an iPhone case by Apple, the silicone one, for $5! Too bad it wasn't for my phone model.

Upside is there's a village des valeurs nearby so if you don't find anything you can walk 5 minutes and try another thrift store.

Gigantic place with 4 floors! Didn’t find much stuff of interest though (records, cds, games, etc). Was going to give 2 stars, but added 1 star because of how big this place is, and another star because at least I found one record that I wanted.

Le concept de Renaissance à Montréal est encore plus sympa qu'Emmaus en France. C'est un plaisir de flâner dans les rayons. Et c'est très rare de repartir bredouille.

Des belles affaires à faire. Mais des rayons limite organisés et pas mal d'articles par étiquetés. Mais c'est une belle friperie!

This store is the bestest (excuse my overenthusiastic bad English)! The variety is awesome, the store is huge, fairly clean and I always find the best most unique treasures at this location

Cheap deguelasse rien d'intéressant et prix élevé pantalon pijama george a 10$ comme si il était a 100$ bref du N importe quoi

Le Renaissance le plus grand à Montréal et le plus organisé. Les étages créent une séparation nette entre les différentes sections et les types de vêtements sont variés. Je vous recommande fortement de visiter ce magasin si vous avez le temps.

Ils on beaucoup de choix (4 etages) tres bon prix pour les manteaux d'hiver (mais allez vers septembre.une couple de mois avant le froid) pour les t-shirts et chandails trop cher environ $7 ils en venderais beaucoup plus si les t-shirts etait $2 et les chandails $3.40 ou $4 specialement dependant de la qualite

Unfortunately it seems that all the nice things do not have prices and therefore cannot be sold; it's as if the staff purposefully don't put tags on the better items in order to recuperate them at the end of their shifts. So yes, you'll find some nice things BUT you'll also leave frustrated as you can not purchase any of those nice things. This renaissance is just not worth going to anymore.

Super endroit pour dénicher des vêtements / accessoires / jouets / items de maison d'occasion. Très complet, bien maintenu, bien rangé. C'est facile de trouver ce que l'on cherche!

Stock décevant et pourtant je m'y rend régulièrement au cas où. Cependant toujours des tous petit prix et magasin spacieux

J'adore y trouver des vêtements en bon état pour refaire ma garde-robe à bas prix. C'est bon pour le porte-feuille et pour la planète

J’ai trouvé les lieux sales et cheap comparé à d’autres Fripe-Prix Renaissance. Y étant allée plusieurs fois je n’ai jamais rien trouvé à mon goût mais surtout les vêtements n’étaient même pas triés dans le sens où j’ai trouvé des pièces très abîmées, tachées, trouées ce qui n’est pas normal pour une friperie où il est supposé d’y avoir un tri dans les arrivages avant de placer les produits dans les rayons. J’espère qu’une amélioration se fera et si oui ça me fera sincèrement plaisir d’y retourner.

Les prix sont parfois ridiculement trop élevés.je ne sais pas sur quoi ils se basent pour faire les prix.ce sont des dons Tabarouette! !

I am a recurrent client of the Renaissance stores and it's not my first visit to this one. In various occasions I have noticed the rudeness of the employees and their lack of customer service attitude. This morning as I was waiting, 15 minutes, for someone to assist me in the jewelry section. I was helped by 2 different assistant managers, both with very low training in customer service principles and managerial skills. I was addressed in the most impolite, discourteous and disrespectful way a store can treat their clients. They were not onlyounable to answer my questions, but they contradicted themselves in the information they gave me. Backing their lack of knowledge with "it's the store rules". My question was can I read the label of the item that has no price even though I know it cannot be sold.
I lived the most unpleasant experience as a Rennaisance customer and I urge the store manager, Nadia, to better staff the store and invest more time in training the people that are there to represent her in her absence.
