Not cheap.a melon is a 6 or 8 dollars.while you can get the same one for 2 or 3 dollars, not too far away.

Prix exorbitants. Endroit très odorant et plutôt malpropre. À éviter car à quelques pas de là, une épicerie et un magasin du dollar offre de meilleurs produits à bien meilleurs prix.

J'avais auparavant mis 5 étoiles pour la qualité et la fraîcheur mais de récentes expériences m'obligent à revoir mon évaluation.
Il y a souvent des erreurs sur ma facture chez Anka (mauvais étiquetage, erreur sur le prix).
Les vendeurs ne parlent pas souvent français donc c'est difficile d'éclaircir ces malentendus.

Small fruiterie but the products are good and mostly in stock. Have a selection of meat and cheese too.

Aujourd'hui un gérant (encore jeune un peu près 25ans) il ma traité avec une façon désagréable.

Une solide institution! De bons produits (fruits préparés, avocats, laitues de boston.). Allez-y!

They have a lot of selection in vegetables and fruit but also canned goods, sauces, ham/cheese/salami, and even coffee!

Anka got some good selection of quality fruits and vegetables. Sometimes the prices are great, but most often they are on the expensive side. They also got imported cookies, cheeses and cold meats. The building could use some serious renovations on the inside.
Overall, I think it's great to have this little store in our neighborhood.

Grande amélioration du nouveau propriétaire dont les débuts n'étaient pas à la hauteur. Les aliments de qualité et à bon prix ont retrouvé les tablettes et les employés ont retrouvé le sourire.

Excellent little fruit=vegetable store. Fresh good quality produce, clean and well stocked, and friendly staff. I love this place.

Take care, everybody, the prices are hidden. They have fake prices to be seen, and hidden prices which are covered (this is what you'll pay at case even you can not see it). It happens to me 3 times by now. I'm done with them, me and my friends.

I ordered 2 boxes of sour cherry, and they suppose to call when they arrive, I went there today and they gave me just one, because was 'the last one'. I don't use to post the bad reviews, but I didn't like their professionalism.

My problem with the store owner is related to the acceptance of the American Express Cards. I payed before with any issues with this type of card but yesterday my wife had a hard time. She was simply rejected and refused. We are old customers of this store and spent more than 2000 dollars per year there, but nothing counts. The owner invoke the fact that he is forced to pay 5% for the Amex Cards. Contacting the Amex, they assure me that the number is way to high. Good bye Anka, leave aside the greed if you want to progress.

Ripped me off completely, 12 dollars for 6 apples. I don't usually buy fruit but was informed of the scam afterwards when I told my parents. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Fruiterie de proximité très pratique. Le personnel sympathique et vaste choix de denrées et fruits et légumes.

This is a great neighborhood fruit/vegetable market with much more. Located in an ethnic part of Montreal (cote des neiges) has much variety and fresh produce. Also has a great cheese, cold cuts and olives counter. They serve the best Kalamata olives in town, bar none. Worth a visit if you are in the area, also has a small but growing organic produce section. Worth the visit.

Great service! They'll help you pick out the nicest produce, they'll help you to your car without you asking and they deliver for free within the area and are so friendly and pleasant!

I have been going to this store since I moved to the area just over a year ago. Usually service has been kind and friendly. I was in the other day and picked up some things like fruit and cold cuts. I had purchased a couple of peaches. I went home and when I bit into the peach it was all brown inside. I returned to the store albeit I didn't take my receipt, since I've never had a problem with any of their items before. I spoke with a cashier who I've seen before quite often on my visits there. She absolutely refused to exchange my piece of fruit without the receipt. If I had been a complete stranger I might understand this behaviour, but to not even want to either come to some sort of compromise or speak to a manager about the issue is beyond me. There are many businesses out there vying for customers. Apparently staff at this store aren't well versed in Customer Service. It's unfortunate but they have lost my business. BTW I left the peach at the store.
