Garage Optimax Plus, Mecanique Service

I called to book an appointment for 4 things: oil change, tire change, cabin light change, and Alignment. I brought my car in in the morning and left it for the day. When I came back, they said they didn't have the time to do the alignment.so I said I would leave it overnight then and pick it up in the morning. When I came back in the morning, they said they did it but then I asked about the cabin light, and they forgot to do that. So the guy changed it quickly. Then I paid and left and realized 1-the oil change was not done! (Nor was it charged, they just forgot as well) and 2-my car is still veering to the right, so not even sure if the alignment was actually done! So basically I asked for 4 things and all they remembered to do was the tire change. I ended up having to call my mechanic to finish the rest. I don't have time to waste like that and they just don't care

Danger. This is the worst garage, and i went 4 times (bc i live next door). 3 oil changes, the 3 times they overfilled by ALOT (500ml overfill). I also went to change a control arm, when they gave back the car eveything was shaking alot, they said it was normal. After almost losing the control arm on the highway i went back to the garage and they admitted they forgot to tighten the screws. 6 months later (today) i had the same issue. I went to a different garage and, without previous knowledge of what happened, they told me whoever installed it didnt know what he was doing and didnt tighten the screws. This is extremely dangerous.

Do not trust this place with your car.

I made an appointment with the front desk and, Leo, one of the owners, did not deign look me in the eyes. He did not even deign to eply to me when I saluted him three times. When we finally made eye contact, he refused to aknowlege my presence prompting me to cancel my appointment. He did not say one word to me and looked at me with hostility and superiority the whole time.

The woman at the front desk was charming and sweet. She tried to pacify me but it was too late. I would not support this local business nor trust them with my property. Too bad. I'll just go elsewhere.

The place is called Optimax Plus, they should change it to OptiMinimum Minus.

My daughter had an accident in Atwater on a Sunday and she was able to have her car towed there even though it was closed, peace of mind is important and they delivered

Une gentillesse incroyable, un service d’une honnêteté que j’ai rarement vu moi qui croyait ma transmission cassée et bien non elle n’avait rien du tout. En plus j’ai reçu des conseils pour les pneus très utiles qui m’ont fait gagné de l’argent. Dorénavant cela va être mon garagiste pour les révisions et les réparations.

After a few different places I tried Friday afternoon and then Saturday morning this was the ninth and the guy looked very busy but I told him I am in no rush and I can leave my new mags and tires that I did not buy there and come pick it up at the end of the day. He double checked with me he understood exactly what I wanted and I told him yes install my brand new summer tires on my brand new summer rims and please be careful to keep them perfect. Well he did the job perfect and I just wanted to test my new tires on one front tire so when I got home I decided to change all tires 1 by 1 to my summer tires and go for a spin! Seriously this mechanic did not make a mark on my new rims and balanced them perfectly and at a very reasonable price! Satisfied first time customer for sure!

The owner gave me bad service, he dont respect his client, went there for a vibration and he told me the car have a lot of issues (he wanted to rechange my suspension that his guys replaced to me 3months ago) and gave me 1700$ estimation, went to another mechanic who fixed my vibration for 140$.
Pay attention for the work they gonna do, they may scam you.

They are rude to people, they probably do a good work because is always packed, but they do not know how to treat the clients.

Prise en plein trafic, en fin d'après-midi avec une crevaison sur le pont Jacques-Cartier, sortie à temps sur l'île Ste-Helene pour éviter le remorquage exclusif. J'appelle partout, garages fermés, fin de journée un samedi. Je les trouve au hasard sur internet, ils m'envoient leur remorqueur et vont m'attendre avant de fermer. Sur place, une équipe dynamique, gentille et compétente. Honnêtes et efficaces! Ils viennent de trouver une nouvelle cliente!

Je faisais affaire avec ce garage il y a 2 ans. Le service à la clientèle me donnait confiance en eux. Voilà que 2 ans plus tard, je me rends compte que plusieurs réparations sont à recommencer à cause de la piètre qualité des pièces choisies (confirmé par 2 autres garagistes). Oui, les prix sont bas, mais il y a une raison. L'ensemble de mes ball joints doivent être refaits, on parle d'une job de 1200$. Ce ne sont pas les premières réparations que je dois refaire faire ailleurs depuis.

I had a problem with high and low beams.other garages told me it might be electrical, others didn't want to deal with it. I came here and they took the time and even put in there own lights to test, etc.and realized it was only a simple problem. The took quite a bit of time to figure it out and only charged me 20 bucks and took the time to explain everything in detail and seemed to really enjoy doing so. Honest and reliable. Thanks again

J’y suis allé hier et j’ai été très bien reçu prise en charge rapide malgré un planning très chargé.
Prix très intéressants, très professionnels et bon conseillé aussi pour vous dire si il y a un problème, si il faut changer une pièce ou pas en fonction.
J’ai enfin trouvé mon garage de confiance près de chez moi je recommande!

Amazing service, they were so helpful to diagnose the issue and were nice enough to give me an EXTREMELY reasonable rate for their time since it ended up being a super minor fix. Did not feel like I was in danger of being scammed or overcharged, and they explained what was happening as they went. Would definitely go here again for any of my car needs. MUCH much better then Canadian tire.

Today we sold an engine from SVP auto recycling and used parts whole seller a Mazda protege engine to garage optimax plus. And we decide to use for our technical works for our cars in the future as well. Mr. Leo manage a team of professionals mechanics and handles any technical issues of your car with highest knowledge possible. Thank you guy

Gens professionnels et compétants! Je cherchais un garage de confiance pour prendre soin de mon Jeep qui commence à avoir de l'âge et je suis content d'avoir trouvé! Je vous recommande fortement!

Vu les avis et vu que mon garagiste habituel était fermé, j'ai décidé d'aller à ce garage pour des réparations importantes.

Déjà l'estimé n'a pas été respecté: je me suis fait chargé bien plus que ce qui était prévu et cela sans mon accord. Ce n'est vraiment pas un comportement professionnel.

Vu le prix, j'ai aussi décidé de comparer les prix avec mon garagiste et un autre garage commercial en faisant le même estimé. Résultat: j'ai payé 30% à 35% plus cher pour exactement le même service. (et on s'entend, ce n'est pas un garage CAA.)

En étant objectif, on va juste dire qu'ils ont juste un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix.

Dans tous les cas, je n'y retournerai pas et je ne recommande certainement pas! Mon seul conseil: fuyez.

Réponse: Merci d'avoir tenu compte de mon commentaire. Cependant, vous pouvez toujours essayer de contraster mon avis avec ceux des autres clients. Tout est dit dans mon commentaire et mon expérience en tant que client. Par ailleurs, il s'agissait d'une réparation importante et pas d'un service d'urgence, j'aurais pu prendre rendez-vous ailleurs. Cela donne l'impression que vous essayez de trouver une excuse pour justifier vos tarifs mais c'est justement le problème: si vous commencez à adapter, par votre jugement, vos tarifs en fonction de la situation ou du client, alors il y a un problème. J'espère que mon commentaire fera bouger les choses.

Un vrai charme! Les garagistes ont pris le temps de répondre à toutes mes questions afin de m’aider dans l’entretien de ma voiture.

Rapide et très professional. J'ai toujours été très satisfait de leur service et disponibilité. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Very reliable people the job is top class and cheap. You get what you pay for. I wen there with my Mercedes and I get it fix cheap labor and good quality job that place will be my garage ever. I recommend you that garage.

Went here because my regular guy was on vacation. Told guy pls check what the problem is and call me with the price. He calls me says disc and pads and tire need to be changed. Told me he could do the disc but cant change tire. So i decided not to fix the car and do it an other day. I was to busy to pick up the car and asked my sister to get it for me and they charge her 60$ because he says he had to check and it took time. All he did was take a tire off and saw the brakes needed changing. The back tire was the real reason i went there. So my sister paid 60$ for nothing. Maybe these guys are good but my experience tells me something different. It was the first time i try them. Told the guy never coming back to a scam garage. Most places will tell you there is a charge to check. My bill says check up—-60$—garbage place got to pat tuning amazing service.

Will rip you off if they have the opportunity to do so. Charged $200 for an exhaust repair during the Christmas holidays that my regular mechanic later determined was just a small sleeve that should have cost $30.

Super Honest Guys, i thought i needed my brake pads and discs changed but turns out the squeaking was due to cheap quality pads and discs installed at canadian tire. They could have easily taken advantage but didn't.

I'm a fan and loyal client now for sure. Very reasonably priced also. Highly recommend this place.
