One of the best Parks I have seen in Canada until now, what an amazing, awesome, wonderful forest very quiet. We enjoyed a lot walking around crossing the bridge, I like that the people do not throw anything in the grass and it's very clean and well organized.
I love this Country.
Really Canada is an Fascinating country

Il manque de stationnement lorsqu'on s'y rend la fin de semaine, mais ça reste tout dememe un bon point de départ pour le vélo dans le parc

A beautiful park with so much to see and so much wildlife. Unfortunately we were there on a Tues and most of the parks trails and car parks are only accessible on a weekend and a Wed! A shame as this was are only chance to see this amazing place whilst we were visiting Canada. I recommend planning your visit carefully.

Went to get a map and understanding of the area. They spoke French and English and provided me with a photocopy of the trail black 15 blue 15 blue 36 to pink Lake. They were very helpful courteous. They had small displays and some souvenirs. They can also guide you on which roads are closed where the parking lots are and parking fees if needed. If you are planning on attending any area in the park, I would stop in first just to get the lowdown.

Great place for kids to visit and learn about the flora and fauna at the Gatineau Park! Kids enjoyed learning names of the animals and identifying their sounds! Good interactive activities and a workbook!

Un beau centre, avec des animaux empaillés et des explications sur la faune locale. Ça vaut le coup de s'arrêter!

Gatineau Park is huge - I want to share one aspect of it I think they deliver really well. Near the Parkway there is a great tube slide for the family that should be checked out. They have tubes to slide and a tow rope to get you back to the top of the hill. The kids just loved it and we think anybody with kids will love this too.

A beautiful sunny relatively warm March day so we ventured out to enjoy some sunshine and nature with a stop at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre. The centre itself is beautifully constructed and completely accessible to wheelchairs in addition to some of its adjacent paths leading from the Centre. Inside the centre there is an information centre with recommendations for local sites or planning your visit at the centre, plus a selection of souvenirs for visitors. The are fully accessible washrooms and a nature museum with a history of the park and its wildlife inhabitants. The area next to the centre also has spaces for a picnic and benches. We took a short walk through the woods across a steel bridge over a small creek and enjoyed the quiet peace of the ancient forest that surrounded us. Lots of dog walkers on that Sunday and we had the chance to meet a few new 4-legged friends. Across the street from the centre there are several merchants and a variety of local restaurants/bakery. The photo attached is from the National Capital Commission library and features the interpretive display of wildlife and history of the park.

Visited during the Holiday season. Staff spoke both french and English and we're very helpful. They took the time to explain which trails were open and the other activities that were available for us to enjoy. Parking was also available for free and they had cleared the snow despite the storm a day before.

The park is nice even in winter. You can walk around for a couple of hours. I liked the park, there is not a big river with small rapids. Not far from Ottawa. I recommend to visit.
