Globex 2000 Currency Experts

I checked their rate today for $10000 USA Dollars if converted to Canadian $ I will lose $200 CAD Compared to another currency exchange in London On (continental currency exchange) that is way too much of a difference, will not recommend

I added this after their reply, please go to those two exchange places and compare the difference, less talk

I don’t recommend them
The rate they offer is really high
I bought US dollar with the rate of 1.377 in this store, while in the same day in less than 30 minutes I found another currency exchange store with the rate of 1.355!
I cannot say that they were rude, but I really didn’t like their behaviour

They use to have good rates and now my last two experiences they were more than my own bank. It’s too bad.

Ce gars qui est à la caisse est le plus long au monde, rien que pour faire une transaction simple ça lui a pris une éternité, non non non je ne reviendrai jamais jamais là-bas service long long long

Globex used to have a better rate than the banks, but not anymore. I converted 3000CAD to euro and ended up after commissions with $80 less than if I had converted at the bank. There is no point of going here anymore, its insane to think they would be taking such a big cut.

EDIT: I once tried to send a wire transfer from Canada to Switzerland, the clerk didn't seem to know what he was doing and kept asking his colleague for help, the wire never got through and a few days later they called me and said I must have given the wrong information (information I showed them from my phone) on top of that I was charged a fee. I later went to my bank with the exact same information, showed it to the bank teller from my phone just like I did at Globex and it went through with no problems. I suspect the clerk at Globex made an error and instead of admitting it they blamed it on me not giving accurate information, I was even more upset by the fact they charged a fee for their mistake. I started using TransferWise as an alternative.

Got my transaction done, but was very unprofessional.
Performed same transaction at the marcel laurin location and was done swiftly and easily.

I ordered a foreign currency online, after being assured that it was available. A few days later, I received an email notification that it had been processed and to wait for a final confirmation to pick up my currency, which I was supposed to get on a Friday. Nothing. Then on Tuesday instead of the confirmation, I received an email saying my order was cancelled! No explanation. Not cool.

I know banks give a detailed reason when transfers do not go through, I asked for one but never got a proper answer other than the information given must have been incorrect. Since then I've used Globex to only exchange cash.

This place was recommended by some friends. The rates are much better than that at a bank or other location.

Great Rates, I use them rather then direct money transfer bank to bank, because the rate of exchange is very good. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to exchange money USD/CAD

Never again will I go to a bank for currency. This place offers great rates and much better service including a much faster turn around. You can even reserve money online which is great for odd currencies that are complicated to get on the spot and you can pick it up at any of their several locations. Service is also fast with very little wait and the place is always tidy.

Excellent service. 100% recommend and will definitely use this establishment for currency exchange in the future.
