I cannot express enough how much of a disaster my experience with Go Transport Canada was. From start to finish, it was a complete nightmare. Their customer service was utterly unhelpful and seemed clueless about basic logistics. They were unreachable most of the time, and when I did manage to get through, they were unprofessional and rude.

To make matters worse, the shipment was delayed not once, but multiple times. Go Transport Canada gave me empty promises and excuses, but it was clear they had no control over the situation. My cargo arrived damaged and mishandled, with no proper explanation or compensation provided.

Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Go Transport Canada. They are incompetent, unreliable, and simply not worth your time or money.

We used them to ship 2 cars from Canada to Australia. They were totally covered in mold by the time they got here. When questioned about it, the stated they had never heard of Damp rid?
Then one of the cars was damaged at the time of packing as per their photos they sent me, causing AUD10 000.00 worth of damage.
Chris has not so much as owed me the respect of a phone call, despite many many messages and calls.
I also asked for additional insurance to be taken out, it was, but for total loss only. So i am left with nothing.
Lazy & arrogant with ZERO care factor!
NB: Make sure your shippers are registered with IATA, at least they can be held accountable by a global body & you have someone turn to.

We moved from Canada to Spain at the end of 2022 and decided to hire the services of Go Transport Canada because when we visited their office Tara was very helpful and knowledgeable. We are very happy with our decision as the customer service and logistics we received from Tara were amazing. She was very attentive to detail and always responded quickly to any questions we had. I shipped furniture to a family member in Tunisia with Go Transport Canada and everything went really well. The agent was really helpfull with everything. They pick up the furniture a our places in Canada and handle everything. The agent also found us a moving company in Tunisia and help us make sure we had all the documents we need.

J'ai fait déménagement du Québec a la France, service professionel très bien servie et suivi en France parfait. Merci à toute l'équipe.

Nous avons fait transporter 4 mètres cubes de nos effets personnels de Montréal au Québec à Cahors en France. Cela a pris plusieurs mois, le pick up à Montréal a été effectué fin juin 2022 et nous avons reçu nos affaires à la mi-novembre. Heureusement nous n'étions pas pressés. J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon contact avec Tara qui a été très rassurante et à fait un bon suivi tout au long du processus (ce qui est très précieux quand on en est à notre premier déménagement outre-mer! J'étais un peu stressée!) La compagnie qui a pris le relais pour la livraison en France fut très pro également. Sur les 34 paquets, tous sont arrivés en bon état sauf deux items en verre qui ont été fissurés car pas assez emballés (par moi). Ne pas lésiner sur l'emballage et l'étiquetage de vos affaires, beaucoup de pellicule plastique sera nécessaire et de coussinnage à l'aide de couverture, papier bulle ou autre si vous transporter des affaires un fragiles. Très satisfaite par notre expérience. Je recommande et nous ferons de nouveau affaire avec Go Transport Canada si la situation se présente de nouveau.) Merci beaucoup Tara!

Quelques retards dû à des problèmes de transport durant l’été 2022 mais Tara répondait rapidement au téléphone ainsi qu’à mes courriels. Le montant demandé a lui aussi augmenté avant la transaction final, dû à des changements du coût des transports. Je recommande tout de même cette compagnie puisque le processus est resté simple et j’ai été bien accompagnée. Merci!

I searched for several movers and this company was the most transparent one. I had friends who had bad experience with some other companies for their international move e.g, the local movers charge extra fee and the mover who they contracted didn't give much hand to help them out. I was very cautious in finding the one that I could trust. It turned out my choice (Go Transport Canada) was right. They really help you out from the start to the end of the process. Personnel au top pour vous aider pendant votre déménagement, plusieurs vérifications pour vos dates d'enlèvement, l'adresses de livraison. Génial le lien pour suivre vos affaires une fois sur le bateau, 2 points important: Attention vos objets sont empilé donc protéger les bien avant le départ.tout les objets doivent avoir leurs valeurs écrites sur le manifeste d'expéditions, sinon vous allez avoir des soucis à la douane.merci aux déménageurs pour leurs bon sens et rapidité.

Excellente experience avec Go Transport du debut a la fin. Communication facile avec Tara, emballage efficace et soigneux, livraison et déballage du container ponctuel et rapide a l’arrivée. Compagnie arrangeante a l’arrivée en France pour stocker nos biens quelques jours en attendant notre disponibilité. Un peu d’incertitude sur la date de départ du bateau, pas liée a Go Transport mais plutôt au trafic maritime. Tarif raisonnable vu le service. A recommander!

Très mécontent de cette compagnie qui a été mandatée par mon déménageur français pour assurer une prestation de livraison de meubles. Se sont présentées à mon domicile Québécois 3 personnes ne parlant pas un seul mot de français (pourtant une obligation) et ne voulant pas essayer un seul mot de français. De plus, les déménageurs n'ont pas fait un seul effort pour communiquer lentement en anglais pour que je comprenne.
Elles ont défait des paquets comme des antiquités françaises à la lame de cuter. Très désagréables et impolies ces personnes sont une contre publicité parfaite! On aurait dit qu'elles sortaient juste de prison. 2 murs abîmés par des chocs de meubles. Du matériel manquant. Vraiment pas top!

GO Transport was our partner in a move to Germany. They were very professional throughout the entire process, from first contact/quotation over continuous communications and final packing/shipping.

Only downside is the feeling that our small size move could have been shipped in a more compact, sustainable, and potentially cheaper way. They proposed to go for a 20 foot container exclusively for a 15 cubic meter load. At the end, another family’s move would have fit very well in the same container, potentially splitting the price.

Anyways, I highly recommend them.

Sophia a su nous conseiller dans notre déménagement transatlantique. Un tel déménagement est stressant car il faut gérer les papiers, les dates etc mais Sophia a su nous guider simplement et rapidement. Ses conseils ont été extrêmement précieux. J'ai comparé des dizaines de transporteurs et aucun n'a su concurrencer GoTransportCanada dans leur suivi et leur logistique ainsi que leur prix (prix les plus intéressants). nous sommes passés par Go Transport Canada pour rapatrier nos affaires de Montréal vers Nice. Quand bien même il y a eu du retard dans la livraison de nos effets, essentiellement dû à la grève du port de Montréal et aux effets de la pandémie, nous devons reconnaître mon épouse et moi-même que tout s’est très bien déroulé. Il y a eu quelques verres brisés mais cela nous est imputable. Donc très bon travail et je recommande fortement Sophia Donas, ainsi que leurs partenaires du groupe Berton, notamment Thanina Ferrat et Sarah Alaoui. Écoutez bien leurs conseils, écoutez surtout Sophia. Si vous n’avez pas les moyens de prendre un container dédié, optez pour une solution intermédiaire, les caisses en bois qui vous permettront de protéger vos affaires et ensuite de ne pas les perdre dans un container mutualisé. Ils sont là pour vous, ce sont des professionnels mais vous devez aussi faire votre part. N’attendez donc pas de miracles! Emballez vos affaires correctement.

My name is Alberto Hoyle, aerospace engineer who live in Canada for more than 15 years. Making things happen, which means move from the idea to actual facts, could be very overwhelming & stressful if the right decisions are not taken on time and not properly planned ahead.

First thing is of course finding the right moving company (especially for moving overseas). There are many options and prices, but the real deal is knowing what customers have experienced with those companies and putting yourself in that situation – will this happen to me? What do I do? How I can avoid that? This means doing some research, reading, digging a bit in internet to understand the background and of course, asking directly the moving company to see what explanations they have.

By doing that, I decided to select Go Transport Canada. The person I was contacting directly (Chris Groumas) was very efficient, and when I say efficient, I mean he was all the times ready to answer all my queries like shipline prices, dates, availability of personnel, policies for custom clearances at arrival, etc and finally recommending me the BEST rate, the BEST time to fit my availabilities for the moving from my house to their warehouse and any other question I may have.

Once I decided to sign the contract with them (full service from Canada up to the port of Callao), which included picking up all my things from my house plus the free storage at their warehouse for the days prior to shipping; The moving guys were very professional, patient, careful when wrapping my things, tagging them, making the inventory and funny helping me dealing with all the stress of a moving and making feel more relax knowing I was in good hands.

Of course a piece of advice: those are your things, so you as the owner better be the one directing the show (be the “chef d’orchestre! ”), that means they will do exactly what you want and how you want it: how you want it pack, where do you want to put that thing and in which box, the numbering of the boxes, etc and of course the list of packings (very important list detailing everything which is needed for customs at arrival).

Once all boxes were wrapped & packed, they stored in their warehouse with the option of the “pallets”. Seriously, this was the best option I took for 2 reasons: first, easy to store and transport in the container…and second, safe for the trip in the container overseas. Also, all your bulks become 1 and your BL will be very easy to document (1 pallet = 1 bulk, but your pallet can have like 25 or more bulks/boxes!). With that I just wait for the day to come that the container will be shipped. Chris continued to give updates, sent me photos of the loading, updating & correcting the documents with the steamline so those papers will be CORRECT 100% (which by the way, they were perfect), but again remember is your load, so you have to make the validations with the country of destination to know it meet the requirements.

On top of that Go Transport Team was always there to help me in case Chris was not around like Sophia making sure I will be getting the return calls the same day or in few hours, doing the follow-up of the container and Dimitri, giving me advice like make sure to remove the nails from the container floor before moving the car upon arrival. Geez! This advice saved my tires. Nobody noticed that in Peru, but I had that in my mind and highlighted to the team upon arrival to remove them. Thanks Dimitri for that simple advice that could have cost a lot. Once I got the container in Peru, I took it from there, but the guys in GO TRANSPORT made all easy up to the port of Callao.

All in all thanks to the Go Transport Team, Chris, Dimitri, Sophia, the moving guys Ali & Dean for all the help and support in this big endeavour and very stressing/overwhelming times. They made things very smooth, easy and very professional in all their work.

J'ai choisi Go transport Canada pour transporter par container mes biens de Montréal jusqu'en France. Le service client (notamment Sophia Donas) est exceptionnel. Toutes les étapes se sont déroulées rapidement et avec un suivi rigoureux et une très bonne qualité de prestation. Très rassurant pour ce type de prestation. J'avais utilisé un autre prestataire (Gallieni) spécialisé lui aussi dans ce type de transport mais après comparaison je me rends compte qu'il était une coche en dessous, plus cher et beaucoup plus long. Conclusion: si vous cherchez un bon prestataire pour envoyer des biens à travers le monde, je vous conseille Go transport Canada sans aucune hésitation.

Entreprise très professionnelle, Athéna et ses collègues ont travaillé d'arrache pied pour la livraison de mon container dans un temps très court! Leur équipe de déménageur est aussi très efficace, les gars sont courtois, gentils et font attention à vos choses. Je recommande les yeux fermés! Merci encore à vous, merci Athéna.

I have nothing but extremely positive remarks about Go Transport Canada and the service they provide. My wife and I had to organize a move from Canada to Europe, and they went out of their way to reassure us every step of the way. A big shout-out to Dimitri and especially Barbara, who almost literally held our hands throughout the process. Their support and transparency was invaluable, especially if you consider this move was executed in the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Ils m'ont dit où trouver les documents, m'ont envoyés toute la documentation, l'information et ont répondu avec une rapidité incroyable. Une fois tous les documents en leurs possessions je n'ai plus eu qu'à attendre l'arrivée de mon conteneur à mon nouveau domicile 6000km plus loin.
Mettre absolument tout ces biens dans un conteneur et sur l'océan et plutôt stressant mais si j'avais à le refaire je choisirai à nouveau Gocanada sans hésiter.
