Greiche & Scaff Marché Central

Been bringing my business to Greiche and Scaff for 15 years but no more. I went in for a standard eye exam a few months ago at a location that recently closed down; and when I called last week to reorder contact lenses, they told me to contact marche central who now have my file. I did so, and first time I called was told I’d be called back while they “searched” for my file. Wasn’t called back. I had to call back the next day, was told that they found my file and that they’d call me back to confirm the order. Again, never received a call back so I called again and was told this time that they actually can’t find my file and that I have to go in and pay for a new eye exam (one that I paid for a few months ago). When I disagreed I was told that they couldn’t help me, that I’d have to wait for a call from a manager. This isn’t the first negative experience with this brand. Last year I was given an appointment at their angrignon location and when I went in they said they didn’t have me on file… when I complained I was told a district manager would call me but guess what? No call lol.

Completely unprofessional, frustrating, and not how you handle clients who have been coming for 15 years. Do not go to Greiche and Scaff, take your business elsewhere.

Eye exam was okay, the opto doctor was professional and polite. Tests room wheelchair accessible (same as the store).

The clerk, though, was arrogant, unprofessional and rude, wanted me to buy a 300$ pairs saying I would not find progressive lenses cheaper (yet I found at 100$.), pushed only for their most expensive products when I asked about some cheaper ones, it was a bad experience and despite the opto doctor, I'll never go back there.

Les techniciens sont vraiment piètres je me demande si ils ont reçu une formation. Les verres sont médiocres et très chers

The new floor manager, Christine, took the time to find me the perfect pair. The selection of frames was impressive, and I left feeling stylish and confident. Highly recommend.

Amazing service. Their new manager Christine is very professional and understands how to help pick out glasses that fit well and are functional.
Her suggestions were excellent and I really enjoyed my experience.
I cannot recommend the team highly enough and will continue to purchase all future optical needs through Christine!

Nous avons fait notre test de la vue avec M. Faltes. Il a été très attentionné et à l’écoute, il a su rassurer notre fils de 5 ans qui était craintif. De plus Mme Hanna nous a donné un service hors pair, elle nous a conseillé des montures idéals et ainsi que les verres selon nos besoins tous en respectant notre budget et nos styles. Je recommande pour toute la famille. Service personnalisé, de qualité, attentionnée et hors pair. Ça fait du bien!

Jai aimé mon service. Le personnel était très gentil. Le Dr. Faltes est tellement gentil et professionnel. Je conseille.

So the so called manager that goes by the name of Christine, the one that sits all the way in the back is the rudest person to walk this earth. I overheard how she talks to customers and she talks as if we are below her and she is above all. Even with her employees. She thinks of herself as THE queen. Worst service. She needs to get a reality check. And that’s my review on her.

Christine was very very helpful and effective helped me find the right glasses that fit all my requirements!

Nearly all the employees here are EXTREMELY rude. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible their customer service is.they are disrespectful and arrogant and incompetent. Take your business elsewhere because this place will give you a headache from beginning to end.

As per my experience the staff were very helpful and kind. This is our first experience with Greiche & Scaff. The test went well, INES is the one who took care of us and she is kind and happy to help us.

J’ai été servie moi et toute ma famille par TONY. Il est superbe, toujours de bonne humeur, il donne un excellent service et a su subvenir à nos tout besoins en trouvant toujours de bonnes solutions, je suis très très très satisfaite 20/10!:)

Si j’aurais pu mettre 0 je l’aurais fais pire service du monde les employés sont toujours dans la lune et elle qui se prend pour la reine du monde christine est super malpolie elle veut toujours avoir raison et parle par dessus les clients. J’ai fais une prescription pour lentille ils n’ont pas pris la peine de l’écrire dans mon dossier et me disent comme quoi je n’ai jamais ete dans leur succursale et que jai jamais payer 30$ pour faire l’examen. Traite leur clients de menteur tandis que jai meme déclaré ce recu aux assurances et que j’ai testé les lentilles. Aucun respect et professionnalisme super malpolie surtout christine. Je retourne plus et je vous déconseille a 100%. Meme elle me questionne est tu aure detre venue? Ou ce trouve la boutique? A côté de quoi? Comme si que je suis en train de mentir j’habite a côté peut-être qu’elle devrais trouver son respect envers la clientèle en premier.

Rendez-vous annulé 15 minutes avant par la boutique. Il s'agissait d'un rendez-vous d'urgence pour mon fils de 7 ans qui a perdu ses lunettes et ne voit rien sans. J'ai pris ma journée de travail pour me présenter avec mon enfant et j'ai reçu l'appel lorsque j'étais à l'école pour prendre mon fils. La personne au téléphone était condescendante et désagréable. Manque de professionnalisme et aucun respect pour les clients. Je mets une étoile, mais en fait c'est un gros ZÉRO.

The staff were friendly! Johnny was very welcoming and ready to help any time, and Maria was extremely sweet and patient throughout the process, so it was a smooth experience overall!

J’aurais dû voir les reviews avant d’y aller. Très mauvais service, pas du tout accueillant. Autant l’optométriste que l’opticien sont désagréables, on dirait qu’ils ne veulent pas être là.

Great selection of glasses! Christine helped me pick not only one but two glasses! She was very patient with me as a picky person and I got so many compliments from family and friends! Thank you!

I tried to get an appointment for a eye exam. They said they were busy so they would call me back in 20 min.that was 4 hours ago.took an appointment from another place.got it right away. You just lost my business. From the other reviews, this is not the place I want to deal with.
If they can't call me back, it means they don't want me there. And please don't bother to answer with your stupid auto reply answer template. I 've already gone to another place.

One of the worst experiences i have ever had very rude customer service i do not recommend this place at all i got my glasses last week wrong prescriptions made by them they told me go see you doctor very rude and unpleasant experience never going there anymore

Pour le remplacement des verres des lunettes de ma fille, tu dois signer une décharge si la monture casse lors du montage des nouveaux verres, ils ne se portent pas responsable de leurs actes, pourtant une monture en parfaite état achetée l'an dernier chez eux.très nul à éviter

Dommage pour les optométristes qui donnent leur meilleur pour réussir. Certains employés ont un grand manque de respect envers la clientèle. Merci au bureau chef parce que la succursale ne respecte pas les termes et conditions du service d’après vente affiché sur leur site Web. J’étais clients réguliers avec ma conjointe depuis longtemps, mais c’est maintenant terminé pour nous deux.

The staff was very friendly except the Optician, he was rude. Ill never step foot in this place again.

My appointment was cancelled by text and for a whole month they didn't contact me back to reschedule appointment. I also asked for my prescription to be sent to me by email and Only after 1 month and 2 calls and a visit to the branch they realized they typed @gmail.com as.con I do not recommend anyone to go with this business.

Le pire service jamais reçu. On me dit qu’ils vont appeler au laboratoire pour voir ou es rendu ma commande, ils ne ke font pas! Pas de suivi ni du staff et ni du manager. On avise d’un faux délais…. Je n’irai plus jamais acheter de cette bannière! N’importe quoi!

Very bad service, I had an appointment Saturday at 12, I arrived at the time they let m yet for more the 45 min, Christian the employee was very blunt, and instead of apologies or explain the reason, she told me that the late from outside althoughi i arrived before12, onather customer complained to her for the same issue.

I went for an eye exam not only were they extremely late for the appointments but I never heard once an apology for the wait time despite having taken an appointment. I spent 2 hours waiting, other customers and I were getting very frustrated and again no apology from staff or from the doctor. When I finally got to pick up my glasses again I waited quite a bit of time and the person working at the delivery was quite rude. Never had a service like that at another greiche and scaff definitely do not recommend this one

Ça fait des années que je vais chez Greiche Et Scaff et depuis que je suis à cette succursale, j'ai un très mauvais service. Voici ma dernière expérience:
Ils ont une section sur le site web pour demander un renouvellement des verres de contact. Normalement, ils m'appellent le jour même et je passe ma commande par téléphone. La dernière fois, je n'avais pas été contacté après 3 jours alors j'appelle moi même pour commander. La fille au téléphone prend mes infos et me dis que ma commande va être là dans une semaine et demie. Elle n'arrête pas de parler en même temps que moi et quand j'essaie de clarifier s'ils ont vu ma demande en ligne et commandé pour moi elle me dit que oui. Après ça je me disais ils ne m'ont pas demandé le nombre de boîtes ou rien. Je rappelle quelques jours plus tard et non seulement la commande n'a pas été faite, mais on me dit que je dois absolument faire un examen de la vue avant. Même chose que la dernière fois la fille au téléphone parle en même temps que moi et commence à me répondre avant que j'ai finis de parler. Très impolie. Aucune excuse pour leur confusion et le temps que j'ai passé à leur courir après. Je vais manquer de verres de contact et chaque interactions avec eux est difficile!

Je regrette le jour que j'ai acheté des lunettes chez greiche scaff de marché centrale les employés ils sont pas gentilles àvec les clients en plus ils vous te donnais un délais de 15 jours après tu va attendre 35 jours et plus pour avoire tes lunettes service pourri

I went there to get an eye exam despite been told NOT to go there but I still decided to give them a chance and boy I should of listened. I went to get an eye exam for nothing since the optometrist got my prescription wrong and when I called back to get another eye exam they said I would have to pay again some fee (with the same optometrist) while I know they have a policy that allows you to redo you eye exam if the first one didn't correspond to your eyesight. I will not be going back there to waste my money ever again.

Years ago i went to get 2 pairs of glasses one clear and the 2nd pair tinted dark, when i came to pick them up, they mixed up my prescription, that's okay, i understand it can happen to any one, but what outraged me was the fact that they wanted to bill me for THEIR MISTAKE! I was beyond furious and told them that under any circonstances i will pay for their employee's incompetence!
that being said, while i was waiting for the employee to talk to the boss to rectify the matter, i walked around to see the selection of glasses they have and i noticed something peculiar, they all repeat themselves, 'vast selection' my ***! I'm not saying 'don't go there' but more like 'buyer beware'!

Je suis surprise de constater que ce Greiche & scaff reçoive 2.5 étoiles, c'est beaucoup trop généreux! Il est difficile de concevoir que malgré tous les commentaires négatifs, cette bannière ne puisse s'adapter, plutôt que de répondre des sottises qui ne veulent rien dire. Je suis entrée à cet endroit, et personne n'a semblé dénoter ma présence. J'ai regardé les montures pendant une quinzaine de minutes et lorsque j'ai voulu demandé de l'assistance, on m'a dit d'attendre.un autre quinze minutes plus tard, j'en suis ressorti. Il y avait une cliente, et 3 personnes sur le plancher, mais elles semblaient toutes occupées. Heureusement que je n'ai pas acheté mes lunettes à cet endroit, maintenant que je lis tous les commentaires négatifs, je pense que c'est une bénédiction que d'avoir été négligée comme cliente.

Horrible customer service, very unprofessional and rude! The people working there literally scream at you for asking basic questions, stay away from this store.

Had a great experience and everything happened smoothly. I even got my first pair of glasses within 24hrs and I got my second pair within a week or two after that. I want to give a huge thanks to Eneas and Christine who helped me tremendously with finding the right pair for me and allowing me to try on multiple different pairs. Definitely recommend!

Worst place ever, never seen incompetent people like that. Plus, they find any reasons to charge you extra fees, don't go there. People rating them 5 stars must be their friends.

Mauvais magasin et non commercial, ils vous donnent un rendez-vous, le confirment et ne l'honorent pas et ne prennent même pas la peine de vous prévenir, vous vous présentez au rendez-vous et vous trouvez la porte close et même pas de panneau qui indique quoi que ce soit, je déconseille ce magasin, ils sont anti commercial, ce sont des gens qui se moquent de leur clients.
