Buying the home for the first time was stressful enough, especially considering the fact that I had to decide it by myself with my wife in India. Valerie was very helpful and guided us through the process step-by-step, and offered a lot of valuable insight throughout the home purchase journey - from securing pre-approval till finalizing my notary. C'était ma première expérience d'achat d'une propriété. Valérie Josée l'agente du groupe qui m'a aidée a été simplement fantastique. After 5 years of looking with other real estates agents (Remax, Century21, Royal Lepage) we were left disappointed by the lack of professionalism and services provided. We ventured on our own until Groupe Mackay appeared in my Facebook ads, and I thought, why not.let's try these guys out. We were introduced to Mona Sobeh, a very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and kind realtor. She walked us through the whole process properly, and was very proactive. We corresponded multiple times a week, and she was always 1 step ahead as she knew our needs. We visited a maybe 5 homes, and made 2 offers, one of which we won thanks to her great negotiation skills! The sellers were more interested in the social/personal aspect of us buyers, than the sales price. The process took us less than 1 month (due to our schedule), and within 1 week I had already referred her to my sister who was looking at the time for a Condo. She had 2 visits, 2 offers, and won the second offer, again thanks to Mona. Mona is of great value to the Groupe Mackay, and I trust her. I don't say this lightly. Bought my first house with the help of Anick Boucher. She was very attentive to my needs. As opposed to other real estate agents I've heard about she did not show me anything that did not fit in my requirements and I never felt pressured through out the whole process. As for paperwork, she held my hand when needed.

Je ne peux pas passer sous silence, le service hors-norme de feu "mon Walter", qui s'est occupé de mes 4-5 dossiers "achat-vente" d'une manière hors-norme. Mon désarroi face à sa disparition a sans doute mené l'équipe à me référer à Catherine Houle pour mon dossier "location". Mais j'ai eu le même service personnalisé, exemplaire avec elle. Je n'ai pas rencontré les autres membres du groupe. Mais je sais que leur travail en équipe (réelles réunions d'équipe hebdomadaires où ils se réfèrent chaque nouveauté), les rends imbattables. Je recommande à 100 %, surtout sur le grand Sud-ouest de Montréal et la proche banlieue.

Notre propriété a été remise sur le marché environ 10 jours suivant la fin d’un contrat avec un agent précédent. Évidemment, elle était déjà sous entente verbale avant même la fin de la première entente. Au cours de cette courte période, nous avons reçu pas moins de 4 lettres non personnalisées (publicité). C’est un désastre et une nuisance.

Ça ne donne évidemment pas du tout une image de respect et de confiance envers cette agence qui devrait grandement revoir ses pratiques de développement des affaires.
