I got married here in 2019. They were nice to me on the wedding day and prior to it and I enjoyed the ceremony and food served after. It seemed peaceful. I wanted to call for information about it recently on two occasions but no one answers the phone. I need to reach for info please.
One small thing I’d like to add: I asked my husband if we could have my friend play the harp for our wedding and at first he said yes but closer to the date he said no because they already have people who manage the music. In the end it was 3 men I think playing tablas and maybe harmoniums. It’s important to me that women have equality in the music industry so I was disappointed about the lack of flexibility around that. Women power and energy is important for those women and everyone in society especially other women.
Now that they don’t answer the phone and my husband and his brother have proven to be raging misogynists and sociopaths who did a lot of damage to my life and still are continuing to keep me as a prisoner in my home along with the Indian landlord they placed me with who abuses me constantly I would assume they come from a culture with a big misogyny problem and this isn’t just an isolated incident. It’s pretty obvious that it isnt from what you hear online about Indian men and how they treat women. I really hope this changes in your community. Maybe you should host educational sessions for men and teach them how to be decent citizens before letting them get married.
I hope someone makes a note about how to reach the people who run this place soon so I can ask someone my question. I wrote a question but no one answered.
Update months later: still no answer. Completely unreachable. Unprofessional.
You may give food to the needy and anyone who wants it but that doesn’t make up for other basic things. I’d never step foot in this place again even if I was starving

Gurudwara sahib is place were Indian punjabi Sikhs goes for pray to good and they provide lunger (Food) to all devotees.
