Pretty solid tartare, the mashed potatoes were a bit under salted and the drink was real good but tiny (for 15$ I thought I’d more than such a petite glass). I don’t think I’ll go again but I’m happy I went, the inside is quite nice and the music wasn’t too loud, thankfully
These pork kimchi boa buns knocked my socks off. They healed my spirit and my taste buds were invigorated. These buns made me wonder if I’m attracted to people or food. I felt the love they were made with, so much so that I called my mother after and told her I missed her.
The risotto was delicious, the braised octopus was tender, and the burger was juicy! Awesome location and atmosphere, even for a monday evening. This made our trip to Montreal memorable for sure)
Sat @ bar it was more fun! Tried 2 types of tequila that’s what I really went for. The Batman was cool and fun, was surprised that I knew a lot about tequila but hey that’s me! It’s a trendy place enjoy!
What kind of bar serves martini in a wine glass, even though I specifically asked a waitress, if they have a martini glass (since it was not a fist time), , but either she did not understand English, or they don't know what martini is, and when I asked for dressing on a side, my salad ended up drenched in dressing. Plus, they give you kind of washed off cloth napkins, which I really don't feel like using, I don't know who used before me, they're not even ironed. I go there just out of convenience, but I certainly would not recommend it.
The salmon tartar and Brussels sprouts were good, but the streak was very stringy (to the point where my friend and I chocked several times trying to swallow). Steak had no flavour, too much chimichurri.
It pains me to give this restaurant a 1 star because their food is delicious, but last night’s service was UNACCEPTABLE and left a DISGUSTING taste in my mouth. Firstly, my main dish was very late in comparison to the rest of our table of 4, so I allowed my family to start eating without me. By the time my dish arrived, my table was half-finished eating. I then noticed, my order was WRONG. I ordered a trio tartare of beef-beef-salmon and they brought me beef-salmon-tuna (I have an intolerance to tuna, so taking this bite could have made me really sick! Thank god I had my bf try it first). By the time my waiter came back to the table, everyone was finished eating except me. My waiter said it wasn’t his fault, he punched in my order correctly but the kitchen decided to serve it to me anyways knowing it was wrong, and unfortunately the manager refused to price adjust my bill. UMM, WHAT? They offered us complimentary dessert, but we said no. Bottom line, I paid for a meal I didn’t order and didn’t eat! At this point sorry doesn’t cut it. What an AWFUL EXPERIENCE. On top of that, it was Mother’s Day and my mother-in-law was so embarrassed! We spent over $400…NEVER AGAIN.
