I came from London, UK to get my hair cut and blowdried here with KERRY and WOW, what a perfect job she did. You can tell as soon as she starts that she is an expert in technique and process who knows her way around scissors. She fixed alot of the layering mistakes my previous hairdresser made and my hair looks bouncier and more chic than ever as a result. I'm sending all my friends to see her. HIGHLY recommend!

Kim and Jade are the absolute best, my hair is always healthy and shiny. Kim’s colour skills are always on point, I get bleach done on my front pieces and never once have they broken, always heathy and looking amazing. Jade styles my hair and my waves last until I wash them the following week and still look like I just stepped out of the salon. Highly recommend seeing both of them

I had Balayage with Anthony! Very professional! One of my best experience ever! Went there with a horrible damage and badly done highlights and I was ready to hear it will not be like I wanted and ready to dye all my hair to black to cover those bad highlights, but he made a miracle! I had exactly what I wanted and will defiantly come back:). Also I like the fact that he knew very well about new trends, what would be a good fit for my hair and what is not! He was very nice and friendly and care about every details!

It is an amazing place. I had a great hair cut with Naor, the result was exactly what I asked and even better.

I’m not one to leave a review but at this point I don’t have a choice. If your looking for a place to make you feel good, this is the place to go. I had the opportunity to get my hair done today by Sabrina and I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t stopped smiling (or checking myself out in the mirror) since I got home! I have very thin hair, which makes me incredibly self conscious, and I was at the point where I was thinking of shaving my head and wearing a wig… she met me, and there was no judgment, no eye look, nothing. She asked me what colour I was looking for and I told her blond… I’ve wanted blond for years and years and no one would do it, or they would but it would come out orange. But holy moly she nailed it. She was honest and told me if she sees any sign of damage she would stop, she explained everything and even showed me a different way and products to style my hair that would most hide the tinning. I couldn’t be happier! I’ve never spent more $$ on my hair like I did today. But it was worth every cent, and this is going to be my best bday gift ever! So thank you Sabrina, I cried from happiness and you hugged me like an old friend. I couldn’t ask for a better gift than what you gave me today! So ladies, getting older sucks, but go see Sabrina, and you will feel like your 20 again!

Very very bad service, she doesn’t really know what we want, when I showed her the picture of the style I wanted, she said no problem and that she could do it. But the result was terrible. I paid very expensive for this awful service.

I went to the salon for manicure and pedicure. The staffs were nice. However, I was charged more than the price mentioned in their website. In addition, my toe was injured. Regular Manicure is $26 on the website but I was charged $30. Spa pedicure is $53 on their website but I was charged $75.

Giovanna at Deauville did our hair for my wedding. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair, and I had tried 3 other hairdressers before finding Giovanna. She is AMAZING. During the trial, she was friendly and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable enough to express what I wanted and didn't want. She even gave me advice on purchasing extensions for my hair, and gave me a trim a week before the wedding to ensure my hair looked as good and healthy as possible. On my wedding day, she came to my house and did mine and my bridal party's hair. My hair looked even better than at the trial! My bridal party all have different lengths of hair and asked for different styles and she nailed every single one of them (updos, half up, and down). I would highly recommend Giovanna for all your events! Thank you Giovanna!

Salon Deauville & Spa has been my one-stop shop for all of my beauty needs. It is conveniently located close to my home, easily accessible and offers parking. There is also a great boutique to shop around and a delicious bistro where you can grab a coffee or snack as you get pampered! Maria G is an amazing colourist and stylist. She always fulfills my beauty requests to a T. She is honest, takes the time to explain the products and procedure to achieve the desired look and will even suggest products to meet different needs and budgets. She is also concerned with hair health which is a big asset. She also is a generally happy and caring person. I love getting my hair done by her! She really is passionate about what she does!
Lana also does a fantastic job of doing makeup. She did a beautiful winged liner and red lip look for a night out for me and also gave me some tips on how to achieve the desired look at home. Her work was simply stunning!

Go see Donna for the best manicure in town! Professional and accommodating. Always the best nail colours around!
And go see Lana for makeup application, advice and products. So much fun and great artist!

Just moved to Montreal and I booked my hair cut & balayage at Salon Deauville and I've never seen a place like this.

I found my forever salon at Deauville! Been coming here for almost 3 years now. The staff did great to make you feel comfortable going in for a hair cut during these stressful times. The space is clean and spread out. Anthony is amazing. He's listens and gives him suggestions and asks if I am ok with everything before cutting my hair, using products, and styling. He took the time to also teach me how to style my hair for when I have to do it myself. I would 100% recommend coming here.

COLOURIST: Maria coloured my hair a few times and I would trust her to do anything with my hair! Having never gone super light (other than dark brunette) in my life, I knew I needed someone with experience and a keen eye for preserving the health of my hair when going for a light blonde balayage look back in the summer. Even with the lighter look, she managed to keep my hair looking healthy and shiny just as before. She definitely knows what she's doing and I look forward to changing up my look every time I go see her.

STYLING: Jennifer is truly a ray of sunshine in the salon! She makes me feel glamorous 100% of the time! I go to her whenever I want to style my hair or need a trim/haircut. She's just one of those people who sparks joy in the work that she does as well as those she interacts with. I truly look forward to going to the salon to get my hair done by her every time. I'm typically picky when it comes to how I want my hair to be done and Jennifer just always gets what I want! It also a bonus that I truly enjoy her company every time I sit in her chair. You can see that she loves what she does and has mastered her craft!

I'm moving to Ontario next year but I know that I will definitely make the drive over just to see Jennifer +Maria for the occasions where I want to have my hair looking the best!

I haven't had such a beautiful cut and blow dry in all my life. Anthony is an artist with that round brush! I cannot recommend him enough, he was so so attentive and made sure not to cut off too much;) Amazing talent, don't hesitate!

They cut my hair way too short, I asked for 1 inch trim and the hairstylist nearly cut off half the length of my hair even though I told her to keep most of my length (my hair was down to my lower back before the haircut), she was also very rough with my hair. Not only that but from beginning to end the staff and the hairstylist seemed to rush me. I am very dissapointed and wish they could've done a better job.

Je me suis rendue au salon avec l'intention de faire une manucure française. L'employée, Nadia, m'a proposé de faire une couleur unie, car apparemment mes ongles n'étaient pas assez long, alors que j'ai l'habitude de faire des manucures avec cette même longueur. J'ai tout de même acquiescé par respect pour son expertise et choisi la couleur. Le service n'était pas à la hauteur de mes attentes, en effet, à deux reprises Mme m'a fait saigné des doigts, car apparemment mes cuticules sont fins, alors qu'elle manquait tout simplement de délicatesse. Une fois le moment de payer venue, j'ai dû payer un montant de 65$ car elle m'aurait appliqué un gel plus résistant (destiné aux personnes qui rongent leurs ongles). À aucun moment j'ai dit à Mme que je me rongeais les ongles, ni proposer ce gel/ demander mon accord avant de l'appliquer. Elle m'a tout simplement recommandé une couleur unie et j'ai choisi la couleur. Il y a un écart de plus de 20$ entre le service attendu et celui reçu. Avant d'appliquer un produit différent que celui demandé, il aurait fallu demander mon accord encore plus si celui-ci implique une différence de prix aussi importante. De plus, je tiens à préciser que je n'ai pas eu de reçu à la fin du service. Réellement déçue de cette expérience.

I went for a shave and a hair cut this morning and I found the whole experience excellent. I had Navin give me the hair cut and shave, and he was so diligent, professional, efficient and super friendly. I am on vacation from England but I was happy to find an excellent barber to clean me up whilst I am out here. Navin’s attention to detail is exceptional and I can’t praise or recommend him enough to anyone looking to go here for a haircut or a shave. Thank you for the great and friendly experience. The whole time I was there was super enjoyable and I will be sure to see you guys again.

Nobody like Anthony Aznavour! I am super super picky with my hair and I have fusion extensions, therefore I do not go to just anyone, Anthony I can trust with my eyes closed and it is always perfection. My hair has been the healthiest and smoothest quality since I’ve met him! Even days later I get stopped from people asking where my hair was done. His work ethic is beyond and his results are incredible!

This was my first visit to the salon and must say I am pleasantly surprised with the salon and its facilities. Great atmosphere, diligent staff, safety measures in place and all good stuff.

This review cannot be complete without mentioning my hair stylist - NAV. He is an awesome guy, knows his stuff, very friendly and doesn't shy away on recommending suggestions to first time clients like me.

Salon Deauville is an amazing place with a great vibe and cheerful staff! The stylist that cut my hair, Jennifer, was very professional and really knew what she was doing! I'm a bit picky with my hairdressers but she was really friendly and put my mind at ease! She cut my hair just like I asked for, always a plus, and then styled it beautifully after! Overall super good service and experience, would recommend and will be going back soon!

I went in wanting Nanoplasty on my hair to remove the frizz from my curls and a shoulder length curly bob cut. I was told not to do nanoplasty - that i would not get the result i wanted - Botox was the way to go. And as for the cut - to come back in a week or two since they had to use the flat iron to activate the product.so basically i'd leave with straight hair. Theoretically - Ok so far. Two weeks later - my hair has no frizz - but no wave or curl either. The person doing the treatment used too much flat iron and basically removed any wave / curl I had.when I came back for my cut - i was told that my hair wouldn't curl like the pic I brought. I showed her a before picture of myself and said that my curls were very similar before to the picture I had now and I was hoping that a good cut would remove some weight from my hair to allow it to curl back up. She didn't do the cut I wanted - instead did a tiny trim and hardly any layers - and in the end - instead of diffusing and using products to have my hair naturally do it's curl (she said it would after the cut and more within the coming weeks) - she blowdried my hair and used a curling iron. What are we in the 1970's? Am i 90 years old that you need to use a curling iron to give volume? The answer is no and no. Her reasoning was that I wouldn't have liked a shoulder length bob. How would she know? First time we meet. Very disappointed. Also - was charged a fortune for the botox treatment - which would have been fine if i'd have finished with what I wanted.

I went to see Paul for baby lights and he was soooo nice! Patient with me as I had had bad experiences in the past. He did such a good job. Took his time explained anything i would ask about. Let’s just say you get what you pay for:)

It was my first hair styling /cut in Montreal and I was really skeptical coz my hair needs a certain specific look, but all doubts at rest. This will now be my go to place thanks to Stella:). Googled hair salons in Montreal as I was visiting town. Had a cut, root touch up and highlights with Jade who was amazing. Walked out feeling like a million bucks. Highly recommend and the attached coffee bar/bistro is a nice touch.

Horrible service, horrible salon, they write their own reviews. I went there because, I saw the nice reviews. But it looks like they have their own writers/journalists who write nice articles about them since they get paid. You pay for the luxe of the salon, not for the haircut. Sonia is horrible, she dyes your hair first and then cuts them, who does that, the client asks for her to cut it first and then dye it but she refuses to listen, no flexibility. Then she charges you 300$ (while she said that the color was going to cost 90$ at the beginning). Result, color horrible, not able to even hide the white hair, she is incompétent!
They steal your money, do not go there. A little suggestion for the salon, do not focus on nails, massages, hair, or butt treatment whatever you call them- focus in one thing since obviously you will lose all your clients as you are not able to satisfy them. You can always write fake articles and do tv reality to keep them entertained. Worst experience, I did not feel I pas being taken care of. Sonia pas trying to do as many clients as possible and she is not well trained with the latest trends, obviously the manager needs to put them in training to show the latest haircut trends instead of telling them to do as much $$$$. Poor customer expérience, felt guilty of going there and losing my money since my hair were destroyed. I couldn't put 0 since the lowest mark is 1.

A few days ago, I came to Salon Deauville for a haircut (curtain bangs) and balayage. I had the pleasure of having Carlos as my hairdresser. Prior to starting the bleaching process, he was unsure if my hair would be able to sustain the bleach. He then did a test strand on my hair and saw that my hair was a bit too damaged to safely get bleached. If we hadn't done this test strand, my hair would've come out looking horrible after the balayage. I know many greedy salons in Montreal would've completely ignored the damaged hair and would've proceeded with a balayage that would've given me poor results. Salon Deauville is no greedy salon. They work with honesty and professionalism, as their reputation precedes itself. When it came down to my haircut, Carlos understood exactly what I wanted and outdid himself. My hair looked better than the "inspo pics" I was showing him on my phone. I am very pleased with the service I received at the salon. From the moment of my arrival to the time of my departure, I was treated with the utmost respect and care from Carlos and the rest of the staff.

I went to the salon a couple of weeks ago, and I LOVE my new haircut Maria did such a great job and she really helped me making a decision with the colour, everything turned out great!

I was looking for a salon that takes and serves Muslim veiled women. I went there and from the moment I walked in the people were awesome. I was abit earlier than I was supposed to. So they even have a little bistro to eat food so we ordered food and it was so amazing. I met with jade that was my hair dresser that I called at the last minute to know if she can take me, and she did. My experience was amazing they brought me into a private room and took really good care of me. My hair dresser jade made an amazing job on my hair and amazing results. I recommend this salon for every Muslim woman who is veiled that wants an amazing and comfortable experience.thank you soooo much for everything

Entered at 5pm and left at 10pm. The color was the worst I have ever seen. I had asked for caramel color, but the end result was that Tweety was brown compared to me. I had to ask the hairdresser to fix the color 3 times, yet I walked out with a hat on my head and 350$ less on my pockets. The lady was very sweet but absolutely unable to carry the task. The manager did nothing to mitigate the damage; only waited until it was 10pm to close the salon. The morning after I went to another hair salon to have both the color and the cut fixed. I read amazing comments on this salon, I wish they had assigned to me a more experienced hair dresser. Too scared to go back, Will never go even close to it! This happened 1 year and half ago and it still burns!

I go weekly to cut my hair at salon deauville and I really have nothing else to say but amazing! The best service and treatment from their amazing staff is outstanding. They make you feel so comfortable and welcomed. I always cut my hair with one of barbers their named David. He has exceptional talent and skill and really makes sure your satisfied with the haircut he gives. Truly a professional and is serious about his craft. Make sure to make an appointment with David if you to the salon, You wont regret it and will for sure go back again. Their are also the other very talented barbers their that all have amazing skill and talent. Make sure you to check it out you wont regret it.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a very professional and welcoming staff. Then, I met my stylist Luisa who was just fabulous! Today I learned that hair washes are not created equal. I sat in the chair and Luisa washed my hair, shampooed it thoroughly and gave me a scalp massage from heaven! I've never experienced that before and I've been to a dozen salons. I was lulled into such a relaxed zone I almost fell asleep! Lol. I was so relaxed in Luisa's chair that I closed my eyes and let her do her magic. I opened my eyes, smiled, thanked Luisa and I was ready to enjoy the rest of my Saturday. I highly recommend Luisa. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Rima at Deauville is the absolute best! She has been doing my hair and extensions for the last 5 years and I could not be happier with her. She is warm, accommodating and treats her clients like family. She listens to her clients visions and will not let you leave until your hair is perfection. I am extremely lucky to have found her and highly recommend her to everyone (especially for extensions). In terms of Deauville- it is a beautiful and vibrant salon. Happy that Rima is now part of the Deauville family.

Came here for the first time with a friend, because of the good reviews, but I can see now we should've gone to another hair salon.

2 stars, only because staff was friendly and nice, but I had to awkwardly wait for 30 minutes before being seated even though I came on time for my appointment. I wouldn't have mind if the results were worth it, but they were not. First of all, if I was told beforehand that I wasn't going to get what I expected, I would've spent my 200$ in something more meaningful. Second of all, I asked for an ombre ash brown, but my hairstylist suggested another look that looked pretty similar with what I asked so I accepted, but the results were nowhere near. Instead of an ombre, I got highlights and when my friend made the appointment for me for a balayage/ombre, the person on the phone marked it down as 'highlights' saying it was the same thing. Thirdly, when my hair was done, it looked like a mess. My hair was black and brown/orange like at the bottom, but I ended up with some strands that were platinum blonde and some that were blonde with a greenish tint and some that were orange? !? ! Looked extremely unflattering and not at all natural. Would've probably worked for a blonde or a brunette, but not a person with black hair. I even had to cut the platinum blonde strand at home, because of how much it stood out. My friend had the same experience with her stylist and it basically ruined her virgin hair. She was told they would do her hair mid/dark brown, but she came out of there with orange hair? We both walked out of there feeling like they were EXTREMELY unexperienced with black hair. So if you have black hair, I feel like you should look for another place. On top of this, we have to go to another hair salon to get our hair fixed so we are both very disappointed and unpleased with our overall experience.

I recently went to the Salon and I had last minute requests that they had gone out of their way to do for me just so that my event would be perfect for me. Loved their service and willingness to go the extra mile for a customer, especially so last minute. My hair stylist was Jennifer Levine and she was such a wonderful being. She’s so pleasant and fun and she is amazing at what she does. I truly loved my hair that day and will definitely be coming back to Jennifer! Thank you so much guys, truly happy with your service and will be recommending you to everyone I know!

C'est ma plus mauvaise expérience dans un salon de coiffure.
Il te traite à la chaîne. Je voulais une coloration et une coupe avec mise en pli.
J'étais sensé rencontré une coloriste mais arrivée sur place, elle ne veut me donner aucun conseil, la seule chose qu'elle disait qu'elle couleur voulez vous? Je lui ai demandé conseil par rapport à la texture de me cheveux, la coloration de ma peau mais rien.
Je fini par choisir une teinture, elle me la pose et s'en va, revient 50 min plus tard pour me dire d'aller pour faire un shampoing, et la c'était moi qui cherché qui devait me laver les cheveux.la personne arrive me lave et s'en va.pas un mot.
Ensuite je suis resté la plantée à attendre celui qui devait me couper les cheveux.
Une personne arrive après 15 min et je ne sais pas si c'est un coiffeur ou le portier qu'on m'a envoyé. C'est la pire coupe et mise en pli de ma vie.
Et pour couronner le tout 175$ pour ça! J'était tellement pas bien et je voulais juste sortir rapidement que j'ai payé sans brancher.
Ah! La coloriste n'est jamais venu me voir pour voir si la couleur était bien, si ça me plaisait.
Bref. Je pense que je suis traumatisée des salons de coiffure.

Both Jen and Liz are amazing hairdressers and I would highly recommend either of them for cut and styling. Everyone at Deauville is so friendly and their service is excellent.

Luisa is the best hairdresser I have ever had. She has been cutting my hair for the past 5 years and never dissapoints! She helped me take the leap from long to short hair and keeps giving me the best haircuts that remain stylish even as they grow out. I 100% recommend her, you won’t regret it!

I did the keratin treatment i thought it’s going to be smooth and straight afterwards but after the ironing and wash and blow dry my hair went back to same shape. I mean i can still see curly hair on the back of my hair. And the volume of my hair is a lot. I really thought it’s gonna be super straight and smooth. But I’m really disappointed. It was supposed to be smooth and straight right? It’s just the price is too high i paid 500$ for that keratin treatment.but the outcome I’m not satisfied.

My hair is now curly again.like it's not straight anymore.like it really went back to my old hair.for real.

I used to go to Deauville every now and then for a refreshment or highlights, I went back for the first time in almost 2 years, and it will be my go to from now on! I have never been disappointed with anything the employees over the course, have done with my hair. The staff are all super sweet as well! I recommend Dimitra, if you’re looking for coloration, she is phenominal, she’s sweet and will give you exactly what you wish. Can’t wait to go back!

First time I was there I recently move to YUL and this was the closest place to home. I was placed with a guy who was leaving the salon later on the month. My hair was uneven and the haircut look good at the time once I got home and took a shower that was not the case; too bad cause I enjoyed the experience until I realize I needed another haircut to fix the first one.

This place is amazing! I’ve been in Montreal for four years (!) before daring to try a new salon.still went back to the one where I lived before. I wish I hadn’t hesitated this long! The staff is super friendly, and Kerry was AH-mazing. No hairdresser ever made me feel so good about my hair, it seriously looked better than it ever did before. I’ll come again, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

Love this place! Kerry has been cutting my hair for the last 10 years and I have to say she does a better job every time I visit Deauville. If you are picky about your hair (like me), and are looking for change, ask for Kerry! She will not diss appoint.

Louisa is the only person allowed to touch my hair! She is the best hairdresser around and I would recommend her to anybody! She understands what I want and always exceeds my expectations! She's really upbeat and I always have a great time with her! Call and ask for Louisa.you will not be disappointed!

Maria B is the best! She has done my colour for a few years now and I get so many compliments. Stella did my wedding updo and that was beautiful, she is great!
