Hello 123

Quelle magnifique découverte! Un restaurant végétalien et des superbes plats à déguster. Tous les plats sont délicieux et frais. Les portions sont généreuses. Nous avons essayé les choux de Bruxelles, le chou-fleur, Général shiitake, un cheeseburger et la salade Bap épicée. WoW! Un service impeccable. Merci!

Une amie et moi sommes entrées ensemble récemment, un midi de semaine, alors que le restaurant était à peine occupé, et avons été reçues par une jeune femme qui nous a à peine dévisagées, sans sourire ni salutation. Nous avons poliment demandé à consulter le menu (qui n'était pas affiché dehors), qui nous a été tendu avec froideur. J'ai rarement reçu un accueil aussi peu courtois dans un restaurant, mais il m'a franchement donné le goût de déguerpir. J'habite le quartier et avais envie de l'essayer, mais après un tel accueil, je crois bien que je n'y mettrai plus jamais les pieds!

Le menu de brunch était délicieux! Mes amis et moi avons adoré le sandwich, pancakes et le gros déjeuner d’Irène. Frais et de bonne portion!

Vivant à 5min à pied et étant végétarienne, j'aime me rendre à cet endroit quand j'ai le goût de sortir sans aller loin. J'ai donc eu l'occasion de tester plusieurs de leurs plats. Je recommande vivement de goûter leurs lasagnes, elles sont incroyables! De même pour leur burger que j'ai adoré avec mention spéciale pour les patates. Par contre, leur bowl m'a beaucoup moins convaincu car je l'ai trouvé fade. En été, il y a une petite terrasse surélevée vraiment cute et à l'abri des passants.

So I'm making an update to my review. I still think they have really good food, but in the last 6 months they have been doing some shady stuff when ordering through uber/skip/DoorDash. As an example when ordereding a burger, they force you chose an extra option messy wedges or ceasar salad, which is an extra 4$. No I don't want either of those things but you are forced to chose one on tip of the extra 4$ I have called three times to let them know, all three times they expressed apologies as they did know about this issue. They offered me substitutes but couldn't give me back 4$ all three calls they said they would fix it right away. The last time the person I spoke to was one of the owners and he said he had never seen the issue and never heard anything about it. He said he would fix it. Gave me a 25$ voucher to come to come to the restaurant. I love the food, but this is weird.

I have been ordering from here for years and the food was always pretty good and fresh. However, when me and 5 other friends went for brunch the other day, it was one of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant. One waitress spilled my friends entire hot drink in her lap, completely soaking her and burning her, and we had to go home (luckily close-by) and grab her a change of clothes. THE DRINK WAS NOT COMPTED. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years, and if you burn and soak a person with their drink, you do not by any means make them pay for it.
We were told when seated that everyone in the restaurant had been served, so the food would be really fast. We ordered food, it took an extremely long time to come and the portions were small. My boyfriend's lasagna and salad, which was pricey, was a plate of dry salad with a side of lasagna. The latte I ordered before our food took 30 mins to come and after I ordered all 4 servers were simply drying cutlery, no one was bothering to make any drinks ordered. WE WERE THERE FOR 3 HOURS TOTAL. I've had a small amount of horrible service stories, but this one is for sure in the top. The machines when paying start at 18% and the server stood over us as we paid.not one of us wanted to tip and we are usually big tippers. This restaurant has lost 6 customers, none of us will be returning.

The portion sizes are very good for the price you're paying compared to other vegan restaurants I've been to in the city.

Came here for a vegan brunch to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The restaurant is very casual and not large by any mean, however it seemed popular as all seats were occupied. Only 2 of our group of 11 are vegan and everyone found the food to be excellent (even the skeptics). The portions are very large for the most part (and yes, you can take home the leftovers). The food was scrumptious with no weird aftertastes (which we sometimes get with grocery store bought ‘meats, eggs’ etc). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service was good. Management was very flexible in that they allowed us to bring our own cake (vegan of course) which made everyone happy. Thank you Alessandra and Hello 123! We will be back!

I was disappointed. Food was bland except for the roasted potatoes, but they only serve a few pieces. I had a matcha latte that had so many grains of matcha powder clumped together. My friend had sourdough that was hard and overpowered by a lemon flavour. Another friend had to ask for three straws because they kept breaking. The restaurant is cozy. Beautifully decorated. But overall, it was an underwhelming visit.

Lovely spot for dinner that had lots of vegetarian options! Nice atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff.
The cocktails were also wonderful, we ordered the pina colada and sunrise psalm and both were very good.

We absolutely loved our experience with restaurant hello123! I wanted our daughters first birthday to have lots of yummy vegan options and they took care of everything! Super professional and helpful from start to finish. We live about 45 mins from the restaurant so they took this into account and picked foods that would travel well and packaged everything so nicely! The food was incredible and so fresh! Everyone went crazy for the jackfruit bbq sandwich and the cauliflower Mac and cheese! We will definitely be using their catering services in the future and I would recommend!

It's okay nothing crazy for breakfast we were looking forward to pancakes only to discover they had a very strong citrus taste and we had to return them unfortunately. The server mentioned after that it's not to everyone's taste palette wish we knew before however she was pleasant she did comp it for us and got us French toast. Which was okay nothing crazy very rich big portions. Smoothie was alright not sweet at all and coffee well.just not great.

We usually go to the ones in ontario once in a while not for breakfast so this was a first time. I'm sure if we ordered something else we would have been fine.

I tried their french toast - it was tasty, but super heavy on the peanut butter (take note if you don't just want a pb sandwich). My friend got their stir fry and was happy with it. I personally won't be back.

Great vegan restaurant proving their value times and again. Their lasagna is very tasty and a good sized portion too. The Brussels sprouts in the appetizers section are amazing and there is always at least one outstanding desert, this time is was the chocolate avocado mousse.

We had a lovely dinner date at hello123! I highly recommend the cauliflower bowl and the roasted brussel sprouts. Will come back again soon!

Healthy, fresh, and tasty vegan food. The staff is super friendly too. Wish there was a bit more protein in their bowls but that's also because their tempeh/tofu is so good

What a delightful surprise! Never thought vegan brunch can taste to good. The French toast is sublime and the omelette is healthy and fluffy.

Delicious! Whether vegetarian or not the choices are wide and the food delicious for all. Excellent service and great ambiance.

Came today around 7. Got a seat inside and the restaurant was half full. Waiting at least 10 minutes to get attention from the waitress who visibly was not occupied and just chilling in the back talking. She served a couple of friends who showed up after us. We ended up leaving because the service is poor and the attitude given by the waitress is awfully repulsive. Ew.

No acknowledgment when we walked in. Our waitress was very cold and unfriendly. The food was good but way overpriced. We will not be returning there.

It was very easy to find parking in the Harvard street.

Not to be missed. A tasty alternative to the usual (boring) cafés and restaurants on Monkland. Even non vegans loved the taste of General Tao Shitake. Seems to be one of the few true and tasty vegan places in Montréal. Loved to see a Hello123 open in Outremont:)

We've been hitting a lot of local spots lately, and Hello 123 has always been one of our favourites! Also, I have been vegan for almost a decade, have travelled the world, and eaten a lot of good vegan good.

We started with an app, the Brussel sprouts; WOW - talk about FLAVOUR. They were topped with a vegan mayo with a bean paste, and this was seriously incredible. It was fantastic warm up for the meal.

I got the "classic" sandwich, which had tempeh bacon and a tofu omelet, a side salad and potato wedges. Again, WOW - the Tempeh was absolutely fantastic, tasted amazing, and the omelet was excellent - I'm not usually a fan of salads, but this one was simple and good.

Ambience of the resto is chill, and we loved the vibe. They don't rush, and let you actually eat your food while enjoying the experience.

This is a fantastic vegan restaurant. If you want to try real good, tasty, complex vegan plates, this is the place. I had the green xxxxx bowl where they put the most fantastic crispy tempeh, tasty sunflower balls, pesto quinoa and my friend had avocado toasts on a tasty sourdough bread with a bit of picked onions and pomegranate seeds in top. Both were fantastic! They also offer all-day breakfast with all the variety such as pancakes, waffles, scrambled chickpeas, etc! I greatly recommend you go and explore new food. Me, a non-vegan, I even tried a latte with oat milk, wonderful!

I was walking through my old neighbourhood when I stumbled upon this place and decided to check it out! I was so impressed! The food was GREAT (I had the tahini cauliflower) with portions just the right size, friendly and fast service, cute spot. All in all I'd recommend!

What a great addition to NDG. I have eaten here twice now. Both times, we were three people and we ordered various dishes to share. It was all so very delicious! We found the food different from other vegan restaurants which is so refreshing to see and nice to have variety in plant based food! The drinks were also yummy and the servers were all very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was cozy and beautiful, both indoor and outdoor. 100% would go back and would recommend.

The only small complaint I have is that they don't allow dogs on their terrace!

Food is decent, one of the best espressos I've ever had, but the staff is slow and neglects you. Waited almost an hour for food and then getting someone to come to the table to pay the bill was like pulling teeth.

I ordered 80$ of food.but didn’t get it. I received half the order that I paid for. Terrible. And they don’t answer the phone so I couldn’t get in contact with anyone. 80$ for 1/3 cauliflower and 1/2 sweet potato. Never again. And it’s too bad cus I eat vegan every day.

Heard about this new resto and decided to try this place.
Menu properly details every dish which helps.
Ingredients are absolutely fresh and of very good quality.
We ordered the mini burgers which where 2 nice size small burgers but found them too sweet for a burger.
The roasted cauliflower was a whole cauliflower nicely dressed and delicious but after boiling a cauliflower it has to go into an oven to roast giving it a golden finish and a bit of crunch, it wasn't roasted which would have made this dish from good to awsome.
Service was friendly and efficient.
With a bit of tweaking this place could go from being good to being great.

Excellent and flavourful vegan food with a lot of care and attention to detail. I'm very excited to have this around.

The food is incredible, we split the nachos, the messy home fries and the curry bowl. Everything we ate was so fresh and full of flavour.
They do cook quite a bit with nuts so if you have any allergies to nuts I would not recommend eating there. However if you do not have allergies to nuts and want some fresh, very tasty vegan food then this is definitely a restaurant to try.
The drinks were amazing as well and they are family friendly which is a big plus for me.
Cannot wait to go back!

Great restaurant! Food is awesome and you feel great after eating it. A bit pricey but not too much to prevent going. Very nice inside and terrasse side.

I just wonder what will be their real name when they replace their placeholder name? ! ;-)

Fills avoid after the closure of St-Viateur! We are not vegans but love this place. The staff is kind and accommodating. Many food choices, exceptional and tasty flavours. Portions are very generous.

Been twice, once for brunch had the eggs benny and dinner had the cauliflower tahini. Both were clearly fresh and pretty healthy, good portions, but nothing too exciting. As a vegan I have other favorites around the city and my go to on Monkland will be pizzeria 900 without cheese:) I'm glad this is an option and I may return for cocktails and apps. Also salt and pepper wouldn't hurt.

Best vegan food in Montreal. The menu offers great varieties of healthy vegan foods. Their cocktails are amazing and the desserts are to die for. The staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

How anyone can call the food bland is beyond me - I had a burger with the most delicious side of spicy sauce - honestly, it's obvious that some reviewers are not reviewing the food but are jealous of competition.

What a great vegan bar! Lovely place in Monkland, a great location, great atmosphere, with lots of vegan dishes and drinks. They have a bar making difference cocktails and nutritious drinks. It is quite an experience! Food is delicious! Must come to discover that.

I’ve lived in NDG my whole life and i’ve seen many restaurants come and go in this spot— this one is by FAR the best. The food is incredibly flavourful for vegans and non vegans alike: both the brunch and the dinner menu have wonderful options for all tastes. Great choice of wine and beer and awesome cocktails. Pro tip: the blueberry cheesecake is a MUST have. The staff are extremely attentive, warm and helpful. Plus the decor is beautiful and includes a terrace! Definitely check this place out!

As vegetarian (or vegan?) restaurants become more popular I am constantly on the lookout for the ones that do it right. This place does it right. Not too many choices but enough to have variety. We ordered multiple apps and shared them between us. Don't think this place should be done any other way as they were all fantastic dishes. The spices, the sauces and the recipes elevated the vegetables/faux meat to new levels. Their prices are also very fair, however as this place is new they may increase them in the future, so go get your crops while theyre cheap!

Cocktails are unique and fresh, food is vibrant and staff is kind and clearly likes working there! Will definitely be going there again.

The interior has a light feeling decor with amazing live moss features on the walls (it's awesome!). Yummy cocktails, great brunch options and a thorough menu make it an easy choice!
