I am delighted to share my experience with Hemsley's Jewellers, who created my custom wedding ring and has left me beyond satisfied. From the beginning, Jordan made an effort to understand and appreciate my ideas and preferences, offering professional advice on the design and materials. My husband and I went into the store today enquiring about a pendant necklace for my moms special Birthday. After the clerk scanned us with her eyes, up and down, she firmly said that the prices start at $700.00 expecting our reaction to be that it was too expensive and expecting us to turn around and leave. When we didn't comment about the price she looked very confused and didn't know what to say next. So I asked to see what they had, she pulled out their catalog and I picked one and asked for the price. Then I was told that they would have to call for a price. But at no time did she offer to place that call. So my husband asked if he could call to get a price and the clerk said "oh no, they won't talk to you".
That was the end of our experience at Hemsley.
We ended up going to a competitor and spent $3500.00 on a beautiful gold locket pendant necklace for my mom.
Once again, don't judge a book by its cover.

Very sweet owner, cut my rings off me when I was heavily pregnant. Went back to have them fixed. They sent my rings away to be reset and sized, as well as tightened. Less than four months later, stones were falling out. Stones were cracked. I brought it to a new jewler who fixed the rings but asked that I never return back for work here again. I was disappointed in the quality of repair, as it definitely wasn't cheap. Then I had to pay to have everything fixed again.

Professional, courteous, pro-active customer service. Something usually missing from many high end shops nowadays, patient with my questions. Did a remarkable job cleaning my watch. Would highly recommend.

I really appreciate the attention Hemsleys Jewellers brings to the customer. I found these two timepieces and couldn't resist. Alex gave me a tour just to make sure I was buying the right one. Thanks again to the Hemsleys family, a great experience.

Alex is a true watch aficionado and is extremely able in assisting and guiding you with all your watch needs. He was even kind enough to adjust my watch clasp and bracelet at no charge, fitting it perfectly to my wrist. Highly recommend visiting this jeweller and seeing him.

Stopped in at Hemsleys earlier today to have a watch latch/buckle changed.
I was greeted upon entry with a smile and proceeded to the watch counter.
I explained the reason for my visit and was quickly assured that they would do their best to help me.
While the gentleman worked on the latch he explained what he needed to do to ensure the latch would not come loose.
Once done he fitted the watch to my wrist, explained the proper way of attaching the latch, and REFUSED to allow me to pay for his service. I am amazed, honestly, it seems everywhere you go someone is trying to make a dollar. It is very apparent that Hemsley’s is about the customer service. I full heartedly recommend a visit, the boutique is gorgeous, the costs are very fair, and the customer service goes beyond this 5 star review.

I’ve purchased two watches at Hemsleys in the past a Hamilton and a Tissot, the service is outstanding. The staff is very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. You really feel they want what is in your best interest. No pressure whatsoever. Just a friendly approach which is rare in most establishments. I go here to change my watch batteries and recently had one of my watches sized. Alex is super nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Went to Hemsleys because my watch’s strap keeper was broken. Alex found a great replacement and fixed it for me, free of charge! Will definitely go back for future repairs.

I came with a broken bracelet of my favorite Swiss military watch. Alex fixed it in no time and refused to charge any fees for the job. That what I call a great service!

I love this store. Their service are impeccable and they have gorgeous things! Yesterday I went to the store to fix a gold chain that I thought was broken, but they solved the problem and did not charge a thing! I really did not expect that and I was very pleased. It was not my first time there and it won't be the last one! ️️️️

I love shopping at Hemsleys. Not only they have nice products, they know what it takes to attract and retain their customers. Like yesterday. I have a watch that I use for racing when I sail. The retainer was broken and it's very difficult to find that small part. I walked into the store. They said, ho boy, not sure. They looked trough their drawers and were able to find one that fitted nicely. All this with no charge and a big smile!

Visited this place recently and had a very pleasant experience.
I came to adjust my watch bracelet. It took the guy only 5 min and he refused to charge me for the service.

Don't really know where exactly to start this review as it seems to be quite a long relationship:). I would think that I first walked into this store in Winter 2018-2019. Came in to browse their Mont Blanc stock at that time and the required customer service transpired. Alex came to the counter and started to show me a few items. Didn't make a purchase then - I was BROWSING, remember? Lol.
October 2020: Walked in, same scenario except the magic happened this time. Alex remembered our encounter of before to a T! Alex takes client service to another level! Ask him anything, and if he does not know the answer on the spot, he WILL find out.
Why the write this review only today? Walked in yesterday (August 29,2021), same thing happened. It's like we are long-time friends and, boy, does he knows his stuff. He's a keeper - knowledgeable, polite, courteous and does not push for a mere sale! Thank you very much, Alex!

Fantastic experience with Hemsleys Jewellers! From the first connection on their website, to phone calls, to coming to the store in person. We had repairs, cleaning and various servicing done on a number of watches which was all executed quickly, easily and with a thorough knowledge of what was needed. I also purchased a new watch and the experience could not have been easier and more satisfying! From my initial ideas to the final decision I had the best possible guidance. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and reassuring as you go the the process of purchasing a quality timepiece. Very highly recommended for any jewellery needs!

Went in today with my 90 year old mother to get a ring cut off. Alex was great and very attentive to how she was feeling. My mom is so happy to have the ring removed. Thanks Alex for taking great care of her!

We went to Hemsley's for an engagement ring and not unlike other young couples, this was our first foray into a purchase like this and Jordan and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. From helping us understand what we wanted in our piece to the turnaround during the design process - we couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Case in point - we ended up buying a watch and will be doing our wedding bands there as well when the time comes!

Best prestige watch place out in the West Island. Took my father's Swiss watches for resizing and cleaning at this place. He did not even buy the watches at Hemsleys but the kindest watch specialist, Mr. Alex, did all these service for free. He also took his time teaching me about the watches without rushing. For our friends' 50th birthday, we decided to purchase a dress watch for him. I had met Alessandro Saltarelli at Hemsley's Jewellery in Dorval years ago. On my first visit to the store, I was immediately greeted by Alessandro. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help me. Since that first meeting, I have been impressed on each subsequent visit.

On this occasion, we began chatting about watches and looked at several options within my budget. Alessandro took the time and guided me through my options so I could make the right decision. Perhaps Hemsleys sells good jewelry, but please never use their resizing or repair services! I took my wedding ring there to be resized and to fix the two bands together. First of all, they attached the band the wrong way around, then charged me the full amount again to fix their mistake! When it came back from being re-attached (the bottom band the right way up finally), the ring was quite misshapen and shortly thereafter lost a diamond. This was overall a very unsatisfactory and unprofessional experience. I spent over $500 for my ring to get damaged and they took no responsibility for the errors.

Just want to give a big thank you to everyone at Hemsleys for the excellent and professional service. They helped find a beautiful watch that I couldn't get anywhere else. Amazing experience!
