Hendrix Tapas & Burgers

This was my second time going to this restaurant.

Got a Hendrix burger and half way through it, I pulled out a long hair from the bite I took. I understand this could at rare times happen. Why rare time? Because the cook should wear a net like most cook does.

Then I got a poutine.
The sauce was very watery…
I also found about a third of the fries that had turned black. That’s caused by the fact that they were left outside for too long when they were uncooked.

The two waitresses were very kind and replaced my burger which was good although I was scared to find another surprise. They gave me a bowl of fries to replace the poutine. They offered me and my friend who knows the owner another beer to apologize for this bad situation.

I just wanted to share this in hopes that health and security disciplinary actions will be taken for future customers.

I for one, will not return there anymore because of this disgusting experience.

We were a group to celebrate a friend’s birthday. And our waitress was horrible! She had no respect and seemed always annoyed. Just to serve us water it was a hassle! Their drinks taste only like juice and the food was not the best. They didn’t seem to know how to handle a group!

Lets talk about ethics.we were a group and the waiters passed the machine away with 18% tip pre selected.i was going to give her 20% but since she auto typed 18% thats what she got.it is unacceptable to impose 18% tip for service.this place is banned in my books.portions are small.i ordered a half rib with cold fries for 72$ (group price) and it was on but the tip incident did not pass.unethical behavior

La bouffe est vraiment excellente, rien à dire! (Nous avons pris des Arancinis, les tacos et un tartare de saumon). Par contre, l’attente pour recevoir nos boissons étaient quand même longue (plus de 10min). Sinon, il y avait un groupe d’au moins 10 personnes un peu plus loin de nous, sauf qu’ils criaient vraiment super fort et c’était difficile de s’entendre ce qui a rendu l’expérience plus ou moins agréable. Nous allons définitivement revenir malgré tout, car la nourriture est vraiment excellente.

We enjoyed tapas and drinks at Hendrix on a Tuesday night. We sat on the patio which faces the parking lot. Not a bad setting, just no real view to enjoy. We shared the Salmon tartar, tuna and arancini and had some cocktails. Food and drinks were flavourful, however the prices were relatively high for tapas. Service was excellent.

Nous sommes allés 4 personnes pour un souper. Ils ont un bon choix de cocktails mais un seul choix de vin au verre (un choix pour le vin rouge et un choix pour le vin blanc). Leur choix de bière est presque qu'inexistant. Deux sortes de bières blondes sans caractère. Avec plus de 300 microbrasseries au Québec, je ne comprends pas qu'un resto de ce type n'offre rien aux amateurs de bonnes bières.

Pour le repas, je voulais leur burger végétarien. Lorsque j'ai demandé à la serveuse avec quel ingrédient était faite la boulette, elle m'a répondu que c'était à base de haricots. Mais elle n'avait pas l'air certaine, je lui ai demandé d'aller s'informer à la cuisine. Elle revient pour me dire que le burger végé n'a pas de boulette! Du pain avec tomate et laitue. Ce n'est pas un burger ça, c'est un sandwich aux tomates! Et il le vendent aussi cher que le burger traditionnel.

Bref, très décevant comme expérience et même si vous trouvez quelque chose à votre gout sur le menu, la qualité de vaut pas le prix à mon avis.

Loved the extra attention with the candles on the creme brûlé. Excellent service and food.

Si vous cherchez un excellent restaurant dans l'est pour profiter de tapas, c'est l'endroit idéal.
Vous serez surpris par la qualité des aliments, le mélange des goûts, l'ambiance et la présentation.

Ordered calamari as appetizer and shrimp tacos for entree. The best thing I've tasted in a while.

Everything was great, very trendy! The staff is nice except one reason why I giving 3 stars is the bartender was very rude with us before we left for unknown reason even we stayed gentle and quiet in front of her attitude but she just overheated herself for unknown reason, so we just left to avoid anything related to problem. We gave tips after ordering foods and drinks like the average would do it. So, it feels that we are not welcome to that place even the owner gave us a warm welcome when he was there. But I guess the bartender is young because she behaved after the owner left the place. So, I think it is something to take in consideration because it is a nice giveaway place but the behavior of the staff when the owner is not there made us question if we will welcome this place again on our map.

Coucou l'équipe, très bon restaurant on mange bien et on rigole bien! Tout ce qu'on aime.

Lambiance est bien mais le service mediocre on a attendu 2 h pour manger pcq il navait soit disant pas de personnel un vendredi soir

J'ai bien aimé mon expérience dans ce restaurant. J'ai mangé un hamburger il était bon. Petit point négatif le hamburger était un peux Petit. Je recommande ce restaurant pour l'ambiance, le service et la bon bouffe.

Ordered the mushroom hamburger loved it. Place is clean and good service. Will definitely come back

Food was fantastic. I could say that the sauce that came with the arancini tasted just like mother's sauce, exquisite. I had the Buffalo burger, very good. The reason I give it a 4, music way too loud for me, couldn't hear my wife speak, (well, now that I think about it.)

Tout ce que nous avons mangé était délicieux. Nous planifions déjà y retourner pour essayer les autres choses sur le menu.

Une de mes place préférer, une ambiance très chaleureux et qui donne la vie en soirée. La nourriture est très bon donne envie d'en découvrir plus. Le Bar est juste sublime pour les amateur de Cocktail. Pour une très belle ambiance et une réjouissance au papille gustative je vous recommande d'aller au Hendrix

Je ne sais même pas par où commencer. Pour débuter je sui allé à ce restaurant plus qu’une fois mais ce sera la dernière. La musique est extrêmement forte et le personnels a une attitude non conviviale et désagréable. Pour terminer je veux ajouter que votre restaurant est pratiquement vide un vendredi soir je pense que ce n’est pas compliqué à comprendre. Vous êtes situé à Rivière-des-Prairies, vous desservez une petite communauté. Je comprend que vous voulez sûrement attirer une clientèle plus jeune. Mais je pense tous de même que lorsque des clients ce présente à votre restaurant il est important surtout en restauration ou tout autre métier qui requière le service à la clientèle de rester poli courtois et s’ajuster avec les clients en places. Être en restauration ne signifie pas uniquement avoir un bon Cheff mais d’offrir une ambiance agréable pour les invités, et sur ce point je vous offre un gros zéro. Pour terminé je ne reviendrai plus jamais dans votre établissement. Et de grâce débuter par vous habiller d’un sourire avant chaque début de quart de travail car étant donné que vous servez vos clients pratiquement nue, un sourire serait peut-être un bon début.

I have to say I’ve been to many high end restaurants all over the world and this chef here is absolutely outstanding, a Hidden Gem in RDP. Literally everything on the menu is fantastic, I crave this food!

Picked out the place on a whim and boy did it deliver. Baby back ribs and buffala burger were spot on and the calamari was not over fried. Drinks are OK, and I particularly appreciated the personal touch of the staff/ I would assume owners.

Amazing owners, amazing ambiance and amazing policies.if you like to support businesses which do the right thing and you like to eat great food and dance the night away, this fantastic place is the place to be.

Great resto/bar in the area. The food is amazing, I have yet to order something I didn’t like. They cooked the tomahawk steak perfectly and the taste was delicious! The vibe is really great, too! Only reason I’m giving it 4stars is because the service is a bit slow but they are also understaffed so It’s understandable

A disaster. Words cannot describe how terrible this "restaurant" is. From the lack of service the moment we sat down, to the music loud enough to make someone wearing protective ear muffs go deaf, to management trying to scam people with 1$ oyster promos but charging you a la carte. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Great food and extremely friendly service. My first time there and the waiter we had (Sebastian) was a gem.
