Hertz Car Rental

I received the worst possible service. I was using a loaner car provided by Hertz as my car is at the dealership for repairs. The initial interaction and handing off of the car was great. However, trying to contact them afterwards to schedule an appointment for them to install winter tires was next to impossible. Whenever i called, no one answered the phone. If they did, the person i was supposed to talk too was never in and i was told to call back the next day.
I sent an email with no reply.my requests went unanswered. I was given a number and told to call to schedule a tire charge for THEIR car. In which the garage never answered after days of attempts.
I was supposed to have this car for an extended period of time, and after being so dissatisfied with the service the car was returned.

I rented a car for my 1 week visit in Canada. They are incredibly helpful and kind. I recommend Hertz Car Rental in laval for anyone visiting Quebec. They help you with anything you need. I am definitely going to choose them again for my next visit to Quebec.

Et bien, j'ai eu exactement ce que j'avais besoin. En exprimant bien ses besoins ils vont vous trouver votre véhicule. J'adore leurs fonctionnement, je suis parti l'esprit tranquille sachant que toute les photos du véhicule sont dans le système, je croyais m'avoir fait accrocher et les photos disaient que non.très heureux le Mr Bon service pour du bon monde.

I used this car rental few times and I have another few reservations there I had the best experience dealing with them and the manger shara is such a nice person he gave me the feeling like I was the only costumer he gave me the best service what I had in the past by other companies! Thanks so much!
Now 4 weeks later from writing my review I just finished another two rentals from this location and it was an amazing experience dealing with them! I got both times a beautiful car and for amazing prices and service!

I would give them a 0 star. I HAD A RESERVATION by them and they sent me home WITH OUT A CAR with out any reason they just told me WE DON'T HAVE ANY AVAILABLE CAR FOR YOU.
I would consider them for the most wicked car rental location that ever existed. I would recommend to go to the other location of hertz that is located in downtown Montreal they take responsibility to give you a good car.

En voyage de 3 semaines, nous avons été plus que satisfait de notre location de voiture: personnel très gentil et attentif, nous avons eu en plus une meilleure voiture que celle réservée initialement. Merci encore! Prise de la voiture en 10min, idem lorsque nous l'avons rendu. Service très professionnel, je recommande. En tout cas, lorsque nous reviendrons, nous retournerons louer chez eux sans hésitations!

Bonjour, suite de mon avis laissé pour hertz décarie avec hertz laval:
J’ai réservé un véhicule auprès de hertz décarie pour le 5 septembre. Suite au "problème mécanique" dans cette première agence, hertz m'a renvoyé sur l'agence de Laval qui pourrait me fournir le véhicule initalement réservé. Après 1H30 (30 mins de recherche + 1H de trajet entre les 2 agences), l'agence hertz Laval m'informe qu'ils n'ont pas non plus le véhicule. Un autre modèle, électrique, m'est proposé mais l'assurance et la franchise sont excessivement onereux. Factuellement, le montant de 570CAD dans le mail de confirmation de réservation initiale est passé à 1087,71CAD dans la facture finale reçue (avec les assurances). Cette experience a gâché mon séjour et m'a énormément contraint. Je ne souhaite à personne de vivre ça.

I pre-booked a VW Jetta (gas) but was met with inconvenience upon arrival. Despite my prepaid booking, no gas saloon cars were available. The only offered replacement was an uncharged electric vehicle, requiring a 30-minute wait. The alternative? Pay extra for a mid-size SUV. This was not the service I expected, especially when another rental firm, facing a similar oversight, offered me an upgraded vehicle without added charges. I hope Hertz acknowledges this lapse and ensures such situations are avoided in the future.

Really really bad place to rent a car.they’re taking the money and keeping to ask for more.fees fees fees….

0 stars. I rented a car with Hertz Laval. The car vibrated and did not work properly. I was not able to drive it for what I needed it. I was charged 150$ for the day when I was not able to even use the car. When i tried to contact the manager to discuss it he said he will call me back but never did. I called him recently because hertz was collecting the 150$ and he and his worker lied to me. First I asked to speak to the manager and he said that the manager was not in but then all of sudden the manager was on the phone. Then I started speaking to the manager and all he did was yell and argue he didn't even let me explain myself. He even went that far as to tell me that the car was not broken!

No customer service in this branch.
I rent toyota corolla and I showed up they said we have only electric car
And I refused and when I called hertz for refund they told me that I didn't showed up at this branch.
This ridiculous you made the mistake and wrote in the system that's the customer didn't showed up.
Should hertz make a reaction with this branch or close it.

J’ai fait la réservation d’une voiture via le site et lorsque j’appelle le lendemain matin pour confirmer que j’étais en route, on m’annonce qu’aucune voiture n’est disponible et qu’il y a 12 personnes qui sont dans la même situation que moi.

Le commis me dit qu’il m’appellerait dans l’après-midi pour me proposer une solution, mais ne l’a jamais fait.

J’avais heureusement pu trouver une solution de rechange chez entreprise sur des Laurentides également.

Very bad customer experience. I waited for half hour to get my car ready and it was not cleaned correctly. The whole car had greasy marks inside.
Also I highly suspect that I was a victim of credit card fraud when paying at this location. They used the swiping technique to take card Information.
Few days after paying there, my bank called me for some payments in the US i wasn't doing. I used the card only there, so I'm pretty sure I got scammed there.
Definitely be careful with your credit card!

The worst place to go rent a car. The guy that was at front seemed to be high on crack or something. I had reservation with an app for a mid size SUV and this guy was so lazy said he dont have suv when in the parking lot there are many.worst experience ever in my life with a rental company

Dishonest service, had a bad experience with them. I rented a car online and prepaid for it (more than 48hours because i wasn't sure when i will be returning it back and didn't want to be penalized for extra). I booked at 15: 45 to get the car but they called me to come a little earlier for whatever reason, probably so they won't stay late at work (shows the dedication they have towards the company) i was chill about it and came early. Took the car, the manager assured me that he will not charge me for 2 days if i return it in less than 24h and that they will check the cameras for that.i ended up using it in less then 24hours. Called them the following week to ask why they charged me for 2 days and thought that they forgot about me, i've asked to speak to the manager, the guy said that he left a note and manager will call me back, yep no calls, not whatsoever, called them after pm, they told me that manager left for the day lol. Waited the following week and called, manager picked up finally. Explained over and over again that i didn't use the car for 2days so why charge me for that and also that he assured to me that they won't charge me for 2 days and will check the cameras and stuff to make sure i returned it in less than 24h.he was like nope i never said that! For real man! That's why i feel betrayed with this kind of behavior, when i tried to explained to him that this wasn't what he said he shouted at me and said i have another client now i will call later.yes been 2 weeks now but no feedback. You may have scammed my few dollars but don't worry, you'll loose more than that. I'll make sure that i share my experience with everyone i know:)

Impossible de réserver une voiture en ligne et quand on finit par les avoir au téléphone ils n'ont qu'un modèle super dispendieux, si j'avais réserver par expédia ou autre je n'aurais pas eu ma location en fin de compte.
