Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-Ville

This is the best Hilton in Montreal. Do not stay at the awful decatrie location. Centreville is much nicer, offers a more beautiful view, better service, quieter sleep and a great pool on the 11th floor overlooking Sherbrooke street. There is hot tubs and saunas. It's a great place to kill some time on a rainy day and even the breakfast at circos was pretty good.be sure to visit the 11th floor for a great place to see the city from their dual terraces.no designated smoker spots in the building but those balconies on 11 are perfect as long as you watch out for security.

Very disappointed stay! We stayed at this place in a room with a horrorbile view on garbage bins and concrete buildings. We requested to change rooms but they denied with the reason that we checked in at 2: 49pm instead of 3pm so they couldn’t offer us a better room which doesn’t make sense. First The front desk agent offered us to switch rooms on the 10th floor. When we came back to the FD again to change that room the supervisor told us it’s not available for us. Very bad service. One person says something different than the other. None of the windows in the room opens, the AC doesn’t work proper, the pool doesn’t provide any towels and the outside area is covered with bugs and webs. I don’t know when the last time was they cleaned out there. I am disappointed that I left another great hotel for half the price, bigger room and better service for this stay. I would recommend to everyone to go to hotel saint Laurent which is so much better!
Nobody seemed to help us here. Definitely will not come back here!

Not the best experience. Had the wait in the line two times, i am gold member and they didn’t even serve through the honours which makes me wondering why they have the sign up. I’d say it’s a two stars top!

J'ai été réellement déçu de la chambre. La piscine est belle mais la chambre de bain est petite.
Nous avions payer assez cher et il n'y a eu aucun service au chambre, les poubelles étaient pleine, les serviettes mouille. Malgré le fait qu'on est demander de faire la chambre.
Mais le plus décevant était la réaction de la gérante, nous lui en avant parlée, mais le service à clientèle n'est pas sa force, elle nous a répondu avec dédain que c'est la politique de l'établissement. Même pas nous sommes désolé d'avoir oublié. C'est extrêmement décevant venant de ce genre d'établissement.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Needed to cancel our reservation beyond our control however Priceline and a staff member from this hotel went above and beyond to help us resolve our situation.

Front desk employees (a woman not wearing a name tag) needs to learn about customer service. Especially when speaking to a client that has Diamond status. I’d go elsewhere because when the homeless man outside is nicer than the front desk employee, I told my wife to cancel and we went to Embassy Suites instead, who have front desk employees that are trained to deliver the service I expect from Hilton. I would just avoid this place, not worth the headache with so many other hotels around.

They cannot even give you a bottle of water, the hotel is empty.couldn't get a empty glass to drink my bootle of champagne they give me a foam cup.

Excellent location and service. Hotel room was immaculate and staff were very friendly. The pool area is definitely a highlight with beautiful views and extremely comfortable water temperature. I felt very safe from a health perspective.

Never again! Super fun to book a room online put the card in everything is ok. No email to say something is wrong, even did the check-in on the app. Arriving at the hotel at 10pm could get my room. Thanks it's a no for me. Recommended Hotel 10! Better customer service and nice room.

Very bad experience at this Hilton. I had a booked a room with a breakgast. When I arrived I was told that their restaurant was closed. Instead of a breakfast, they proposed to offer Hilton Points instead, which of course do not compensate at all the costs of a breakfast.

The room was clean but there was un unpleasant smell in the room.

Restaurant is closed which isn’t mentioned anywhere on the website, bar is closed due to no liquor license, also not mentioned anywhere. False advertising and this point. Room was decent but no cleaning during 4 day trip. Bathtub was also yellow. Like dark grunge colour. Won’t be coming back.

Amazing location - 5 to 20 min walk from all the Montreal attractions (including the best food/bars). The in-hotel restaurant was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions but the rooftop pool, gym, jacuzzi and patio more than made up for it. The AC in our room wasn't very powerful so we had to set it to 18C! Parking wasn't cheap but it was in a secure location protected from the elements. The front desk was always very courteous. Uber in the city is a hit or miss with very few drivers around.nothing to do with the hotel but something to keep in mind.

They were very helpful about last minute booking in the middle of the night. The room was super clean, I had everything I need.

I called them 12/4/2020 at 10: 43 pm it's was my first and last time the Agent on front desk, she spoke with me unkind too much, her talk she will let every one to take off, Also I I wanted to do booking, but unfortunately I canceled.

Very nice place and great location. Staff is friendly, but noise in hallways does bleed into the rooms very easily.

Good hotel, good location, nice views if you're facing the street, and the pool and gym are amazing (they have a squat rack). I always look forward to staying here when in Montreal.

$30/day parking. Gym, pool and steam room are on the top floor with a great view. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaning lady is very kind.

Decent rooms in a good location to walk around the city. No complaints except the cable/TV package is limited in choice and somewhat dated

Ce serait bien d'ajouter une 2e toilette sur les étages pour diminuer la file d'attente. Sinon, la bouffe est excellente et l'endroit est tres propre.

It could be convenient if you're only in town for a night or two, but it's not a great value overall for a normal room because there's nothing special about their rooms. Everything is nice, as you would expect but you are really paying for the location, which is close to most of the shopping and tourist spots except for Old Montreal. I would come back to the same area but try to find a cheaper place.

Make sure you ask for what you will get charged for like parking, water, coffee, morning breakfast, etc since I was charged for parking which I wasn't aware of or nobody verbally informed me other than getting initials on Rcard. Rooftop pool is fun for kids. Overall nice hotel, I requested an extra bed which wasn't there, I requested top floor for a view and we didn't get a view but overall it was an okay experience.

Comfortable and very clean room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Enjoyed our weekend and would stay again at this hotel on a future visit.

Busy place during my visit. Pool and hot tub felt small but maybe due in part to the traffic when I visited them (about 9 pm on a Saturday). Nice room but typical. Nice location for short walk to downtown and good walk to old Montreal although likely too long for others. Staff were very friendly.

Good sized room. Nice location. Clean.
However, front desk not very friendly. Charged us extra for parking that we did not use. Make sure to bring your own toothbrush! First hotel I have ever been to that toothbrush and toothpaste aren’t complementary.

It's not the cheapest place to stay but I keep coming back here. It's comfortable and convenient if you've got a kid at McGill. The staff is top notch.

Thanks a lot. However I would not say the same for your colleages at the Doubletree/Niagara Falls/Canada, where I will revert as soon as they guarantee to their clients including my family that they are safe and secure when they park their cars at your premises. My point is that is rediculous to pay for the parking and still be unsecure. I wonder what is their business VISION: to rent a lot or to provide quality service in total? Needless to say that I had not actual support form their staff. Excuses are free and easy to provide. The issue here is what are your actions before and after to what happened to my family and my car. I still wonder what were your actions since then to avoid similar incidents?

Pictures were a bit misleading and created a feeling that this hotel went through a renovation. Unfortunately, it hasn't. It is as old as it can and very similar to Graden Inn in Ottawa by the airport. Breakfast was cook to order, but without clear explanation on how to.

Great people! The staff kept me coming back. Close to old Montreal. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Gabrielle at the front desk is super helpful, Alex helped get a cab at the door, anytime.

Louis is the best waiter in Montreal! The restaurant Circos offers great food with super team!
