The rudest staff I have ever encountered. I asked them to book the shuttle for me at 5: 30 AM. I called the reception twice to confirm, which they did twice however they never told me that the shuttle leaves the hotel every 30 min anyway they never said to me if late the shuttle will leave without me. I was at the reception 5: 31 there was no one there I waited and waited then called hello hello no one answered then went behind the counter because I can hear people talking then someone came out from the office behind the counter with a name tag “Alain” he was very upset and looked bothered. He put his finger up and said I heard you wait! He went back to the office and never came back so I called again he came to the from desk very upset with an attitude he processed the deposit refund with the hugest attitude he wasn’t even looking at me he wasn’t answering my questions about the shuttle. He completely stopped talking to me and kept doing stuff in the computer. I have never had this experience in my life. Do yourself a favour don’t stay there. They don’t offer water in the room! Ou he to bug it.

Everything was good except noise from the highway. Make sure to get a room away from the highway. I couldn’t sleep all night with all the zoom zooms

The staff behavior is vey bad. Charged 50.00 dollars for security but never refundee. Second time told me that my breakfast is mot allowed.

Call and visited many times at the left location, never helped

Bien que notre chambre ait été mise à niveau pour une suite, il faisait 16 degrés dans la chambre à notre arrivée et la température n'a jamais atteint un point confortable. De plus, il n'était pas possible d'obtenir un lit de bébé, qui en plus nécessite un supplément lorsqu'il est possible d'en avoir un. Je ne recommande pas.

Très déçu de cet endroit! Si on pouvait, ça serait -5 étoiles! Peu de personnes portent le masque (employés), ça parle pas français (même si on sait parler anglais, notre langue natale est francophone), le réceptionniste était pas propre sur lui (tâches sur chemise et veston, cheveux gras), mur de la salle de bain de la chambre avaient des tâches brunes aux murs. On le recommande pas cet hôtel, du tout!

For the price paid, my expectations were higher. Rooms are badly maintained - floorboards coming apart, stained and dirty walls, hairs in the tub, elevator was dirty. (For a COVID quarantine hotel - this makes me nervous). Even saw a big bug crawling around as we were packing up.yuck!

Glad we only stayed for a few hours to sleep.
The breakfast was good and hot - eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. The serving staff during breakfast was awesome.

Ils disent que le déjeuner est fourni. Nous nous sommes assis à 7h pour prendre notre déjeuner, à 7h40 nous n'avions toujours pas été servi. C'est un hôtel à côté de l'aéroport où les gens quittent rapidement pour aller prendre l'avion. Je ne comprends pas la lenteur d'un tel service.
Le ménage pourrait être mieux effectué, nous avons trouvé une cigarette électronique sur le divan ainsi que des toiles d'araignées ornaient le plafond.

Loué pour une nuit avec ma blonde et la chambre n'était pas donné 189$ donc elle devrait être sur la coche mais une fois dans la chambre il n'y avait pas de telecomande pour la tv je suis dit pas grave et ma blonde veut prendre un bain mais pas de bouchon pour le bain la je suis allé à la réception pour en avoir un mais ça pris 1h mais en tout cas pas si pire encore, après nous sommes aller souper et une fois revenue de souper tard dans la soirée ma blonde vérifie toujours le drap en bas ou nous mettons nos pieds et il y avait plein de sables sur le drap donc le drap n'a pas été changer mais il était tard nous nous sommes habillé pour ne pas dormir dans les draps d'un inconnu et le lendemain je me suis plein a la réception la tes gentille dame m'a dit la gérante va vous rappeler et une semaine plus tard pas de nouvelles donc j'ai rappeler et une semaine plus tard j'ai rappeler mais toujours impossible de parler au gérant j'ai laissé 2 message sur sa boite vocal et elle ne me rappelle pas alors n'allez pas la il ne change pas les draps et je trouve ça inacceptable

Comfortable rooms but service descriptions do not match current offerings due to the pandemic. Expectations based on information on line will be disappointed when you arrive in person that there is no shuttle, restaurant is closed, breakfast hours are different and the staff while friendly don't seem to care that they're not offering the described services. I booked here because hot breakfast was supposed to start at 0530, but it in fact did not start until 0730, and I had a flight to catch at 0800. Should have booked somewhere else for my hot breakfast. Also can't reach the property by phone, I watched the staff at the desk pick up the phone and send calls to hold or back to the IVR. Skip this place unless you need to stay close to the airport and don't really care about amenities.

We got lost in the construction looking for our booking at a different hotel. It was pouring with rain and pitch dark, and we found ourselves at this Holiday Inn where Sheren from the front desk saved our bacon. It was a full hotel but she found us a room and treated us so kindly. We really appreciate the wonderful service and will definitely be booking here next time we need to stay near the airport.

Quarantine: The hotel disconnected the quarantine rooms phone line, so we the quarantine guests cannot ask for any service. If I need any service or have an emergency I ll have to walk to the lobby.
I want bottled water as tap water has a funny taste, but I cannot call to the reception. I talked to the person who delivered my meals earlier today, but the problem is well known and it wont get fixed apparently. Is it common in this hotel? Is it acceptable?
Room is spacious, I saw few long hairs left on the floor and it is a bit dusty, but overall is comfortable, clean, and quiet.
The food is good and they offer a good amount.
I have been thirsty, so I hope I can get some water somehow. Otherwise I ll have to walk to the reception.

Room was nice & clean.
Coffee machine did nt work but worst if all was the lady at reception. She was very rude. She needs to learn how to greet or thank their clients. There was a confusion in booking the pool for the family. We were ready to adjust and felt bad. But she accused us of not even booking which was a white lie. Management needs to teach her customer service.

Felt like an Airbnb

Let me start with the positive features of this hotel. It is centrally located - close to both downtown and the airport. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly. The problem is that the hotel is understaffed. Our room was not cleaned for our entire 3 night stay. We had to request clean towels and coffee every day. We were told to deposit our garbage and dirty towels in the hallway to be picked up. We felt unsafe walking down hallways full of garbage and dirty towels. We asked that we get new towels and coffee daily and that our garbage be collected but my request was not fulfilled (even though the front desk was advised of our daily departure). Also, breakfast is included but the only choices are a takeout container of eggs, bacon/sausage and wedges or a box of Cheerios. There is no juice included - just coffee or tea. Pre-pandemic you would get the same items plus fresh fruit, pancakes, waffles, bagels, jam, peanut butter, etc. The hotel could have still had these items available and had staff give them out but chose not to. Also, the breakfast is being distributed by the front desk staff (sometimes only one is on duty) who must also check out departing guests. I would only recommend this hotel if it were staffed appropriately.

The room was nice, but the staff were unorganized and unfriendly, and the WiFi was absolutely terrible. Only thing worse than the WiFi was the food. Choose another hotel.

Stayed for the mandatory hotel stay.

The staff was friendly for the most part, but the room itself was dirty. The door didn't lock, instead we could push the room open.

We had a really hard time reaching the front desk, and issues with receiving the food.

J'ai fait un séjour de 3 jours en quarantaine, qui avait été vendu en ligne à 565$. Ma carte de crédit a été chargée du double! J'ai essayé de joindre l’hôtel et on refuse toujours de me répondre depuis plus d'un mois.
Je dois maintenant plaider aux petites créances pour me faire rembourser.
Conclusion, je ne retournerai jamais là-bas.

Will serve you food that contains animals even after requesting vegetarian. Healthy and safety a big issue in this place, the smoke alarm went off in my room which left me panicked and stressed as no answer when I called reception and no one came up to investigate, it was going off for over half an hour and trust me it was load, in the end I just decided to check out 2 days early whilst the smoke alarm was still going off. When I informed the staff on the way out they couldn’t care less. Don’t stay here unless you don’t care about health and safety

J’avais réservé une suite avec balcon, ma réservation n’a pas été prise en compte et j’ai eu ce qu’il y avait de disponible pour le même prix sans me prévenir bien sûr! Surprise en arrivant dans la chambre sale, sans balcon et très quelconque. Mais aucune option, c’est ça ou rien. Le premier soir on me promet de me changer le lendemain, ça n’arrivera jamais. J’ai dépensé 300$ de plus pour mon séjour et choisi spécifiquement cet hôtel pour avoir une suite avec balcon. Je suis choquée et déçue par le manque de déontologie. Pour moins cher, vous aurez mieux ailleurs. Je déconseille fortement!

To follow up on my first poor review concerning missing earrings. I called their head office. Although I spoke to 3 people, they found out no report was ever done. The 3 people I spoke to never took my name or phone number. Their head office said soneone from the hotel will call you in 24- 48 hours. Never has happened. So you may enjoy a nice stay, but if there is a problem, you will have no help whatsoever.

Horrible. Don’t do it. I’m sure there was an ant hill in our room. Our beds, suitcases and carry ones were/are full of little ants. Now we get back into Edmonton and they call that they need our debit card to give us our $200 deposit back? The one that wasn’t even on debit and not taken out of our account? The lady that called did not care to listen to what we were trying to explain. A credit card was held for the deposit and we paid the room in full with debit last night.

I have now stayed at this hotel multiple times and have never had a single complaint or bad experience.

Staff are extremely friendly, outgoing and personable

The entire hotel is modern and up to date. All the rooms I've stayed in from their suites to their standard rooms are extremely clean and well kept.

Not always the greatest of views - but that is the nature of an 'Airport Hotel'

Will definitely be back

First of all, this hotel is located at a very noisy area. We had 2 rooms during our stay. In the beginning, we checked into 2 rooms on the south side of the building. Both me and my worker woke up around 4am in the morning by the banging noise from the big trucks driving by. We requested to move rooms. The front desk was friendly enough to transfer us to other 2 rooms, which was a bit better, but not by a lot. My worker still woke up in the middle of the night because of the noise.

Secondly, we found out the house keeping was not under the control of the hotel. Since we needed to move rooms due to the high noise level, we had to pack everything in the morning in a hurry (need to get to work at 8am). My worker left an IPhone charge in his first room. Later on in the evening, he went to the front desk and asked if house keeping had it. The front desk ladies were very friendly, and did try to help, but fail to locate it. We were asked to come back later. My worker then went to the front desk 2 times each day in the next few days, trying to get his iphone charger back. However, the front desk could not find it. Finally, he was told the hotel subcontracted out the house keeping, which the hotel has no control over. So be aware if you are staying in this hotel.

Lastly, I have a big problem with having to pay for the parking. Prior to booking this hotel, I checked on the web site, and noticed a charge for parking. I have stayed in multiple Holiday Inn hotels throughout Canada (Toronto, Manitoba, Calgary, Edmonton, & Kelowna). This is the first Holiday Inn that charged for parking. To be sure, I made a call to the hotel, and spoke to the front desk. I swear to god that I was told " if you have a room, parking is free" (I wish I have asked the name of the lady who gave me this info). Then I decided to book this hotel. However, at the end of the stay (2 rooms, 7 days), I was charged for parking. I questioned the front desk about the parking charge on check-out, but was asked to call back to speak to the manager. I did make a call and spoke to a lady (Tatiana?). Other than apologizing for wrong info I was given prior to the booking (If you have a room, parking is free), she said she could not do anything, and asked me to send an email back to them. I do not want to waste any more time fighting this. Instead, after leaving this review, I will move on. To be honest, I will submit the parking charge and get reimbursed. However, even though I don't have to pay for this in the end, this is still wrong. The hotel guests should not need to pay for mistakes from the hotel!

Over all comfy. Wallpaper was peeling in some areas. Some black spots around the bathroom, mold maybe? Also noise easily enters from the hallways. Was woken several times between 5am to 8am from people walking by having a normal level conversation.

The hotel was nice. And don't want to accuse any employee of any wrongdoing, however this was the only place I used my credit card in Canada and my card was compromised.

Mistakenly decided to go for the breakfast buffet, it was single handedly the worst service and food I have ever paid to experience. There was barely any real food options except some pastries and fruits. And after only being seated for about 8 minutes the server put our bill on the table - no explanation or apology was uttered. I still tipped the guy thought to not let them ruin my stay and vacation.
I love staying at holidays inn and IHG brand of hotels but I'd never ever stay or eat at this one.

Not bad just don't like that the shuttle from the hotel to the airport only leaves on the hour. I stay at lots of airport hotels and most have service every 20 min.

Ridicule. Service abominable. Manque de staff. J'essaye de faire mon check inn depuis 12: 40 et il est 14: 35. Une vraie crise de joke. Mauvais expériences et je ne la recommande à personne. Ils ont mélangé ma réservation avec une autre personne et ils ont payer la chambre d'un inconnu sur ma carte de crédit. RESTER LOIN D'ICI.
