The stay at the hotel is spectacular, a beautiful place, with a very pleasant, cozy and familiar atmosphere.
The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Excellent and wonderful place with a spectacular view that is very enjoyable.

This is a fantastic hotel; we stayed here in October on a weeknight, and everything was top notch. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, fairly new and equipped for everything one would need. The room was quiet and that is a bonus.
Hotel staff are extremely professional, bilingual and helpful, making checkin very easy. They are attentive to anything guests require.
This location is central to everything in Montreal, especially if walking. The hotel is new and refreshing, with plenty of parking.
I will definitely visit here again.

Stayed last week for the weekend with my friends. Rooms were super comfy and clean, the location is also very convenient. The only disappointment was the pool, it was too small, but it compensates with the city view, very nice.
Will definitely stay again if I'm visiting Montreal!

One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The bathroom shower and tiles looked brand new and the best was exceptionally comfortable. Parking is expensive but its right downtown so it is to be expected. Best part of the parking is that they allow in-out privilege's.

Superbe hôtel et bon rapport qualité prix, nous avons adoré notre séjour en juillet, le personnel est super accueillant et nous as attribué une chambre avec une vue sur le centre ville comme nous l’avions demandé. Nous serons certainement de retour bientôt!

Location is perfect. Service is absolutely amazing. We stayed here for 4 days and they told us that we only get refresher towel service. But the cleaning supervisor (Yvonne Smith) kindly went extra mile to change our sheets too. They are short staff due to Covid but still provided the best hospitality and services. Definitely coming back again.

Called twice to verify reservation. After a long day of 7 hours of driving through the border, arrived to the worst customer service at this hotel. Poor service, rude staff and unaccommodating. Stayed at numerous Holiday Inns throughout the nation and never experienced such rubbish rules and service!

Terrible experience! Not recommended at all! Terrible service!
1. We came back in the afternoon and saw that our room door was open and the key cards did not work anymore. When we went to reception, the only answer we got was that most probably the room door stayed open after housekeeping refreshed the room. Definitely a big security issue and not up to international standards were the room door is supposed to close automatically.
2. Housekeeping refreshes the room daily but does not do the beds, clean the bathroom (apparently due to the pandemic). Especially after staying for several days, it would be nice if they refreshed the beds.
3. We wanted to leave two suitcases at the hotel for 4 nights as we had a trip planned were we could not take all suitcases. As we had another reservation, we were sure the hotel would keep our luggage. Yet, the answer we received by the reception was that they had to ask their general manager and as it was Sunday he was not at the hotel. Later, they confirmed that it was not possible, it is against the hotel’s policy.
Extremely disappointing experience!

Clean and service is good, just water pressure is low, can't have a very good shower. Choose the room facing back if you can be waken up very easy.

Super big room, high ceiling, I had a river views, see the bridges, bell centre, recommended view. The lobby, restaurant and lobby lounging area very chic. Quiet at night, there is underground parking, convenient location. Highly recommended.

Staff was great. Room was comfortable. If you're high up, waiting for the elevator can be a hassle and bit of a wait. Overall awesome location, modern, clean hotel to stay at. Thanks:)

This is my favourite hotel to stay at in Montreal. I just checked in and asked if there was a room upgrade available as I am a spire member and have stayed here countless times over the past 4 years. I was told an upgrade was available but for a $30 fee. I mentioned that I was a spire member and I was told that doesn’t matter. I showed the attendant the mobile app where it says “complimentary room upgrades” as a benefit. The manager came out and told me that it doesn’t apply to suites. I’ve been upgraded to a suite almost every time I’ve stayed here over the past 4 years. I was then told by the manager that those upgrades only apply if an upgrade is available and due to covid they didn’t have an availability. That’s funny because I was just told it was available for a $30 fee. I would have been happy with a reasonable explanation but the staff ran around in circles lying through their teeth. After that, it’s doubtful I’ll stay here again.

Thank you for the reply. But I think you misunderstood my complaint. It’s not that a suite wasn’t offered to me. My complaint is about how the staff handled it by lying to me. A suite is available for a fee - a suite isn’t available due to covid. We never upgrade to suites - I have been upgraded to suites before. I know covid has been especially difficult for the hospitality industry but poor service isn’t going to help. Saying we met our commitment is the same as saying we did the bare minimum we were required to. I would hope Holiday Inn is aiming higher than bare minimum.

Excellent choice downtown. Check-in is easy and parking convenient in the basement, with plenty of space. The room was large and modern. Would absolutely recommend.

We decided to stay here for our honeymoon while we visited Montreal and we highly recommend this place! It was clean, spacious, and a great location! Close to the subway and within walking distance to a lot of great spots in downtown Montreal! Despite it being a long weekend, our room was very quiet and peaceful. Checking in & out was a breeze. This hotel, thankfully has enough parking for their guests - however, you do have to pay $29/day to keep your car there. Unlimited in & out access, just have to use your room key to open the garage. Because of the construction in and around the city, we didn't mind leaving our car there and walking/taking the subway.

Currently staying here, and while everybody is nice enough, it is disappointing to find out parking is extremely expensive on top of a room that is quite expensive. Further, the online booking advertised breakfast as included in my price; there is not even a restaurant here, and there's no fridge for me to store my own food. Considering the price I'm paying to stay here, I expected better; at the very least, I expected honest advertisements. I don't think I'll ever stay at a Holiday Inn again after this experience.

Awful service… unable to sleep or get any rest due to filming of movie outside hotel… no restaurant or IRD open as stated on site, be prepared to get trapped in the hotel due to road closures and no food delivery available

Nous sommes allé avec ma femme le dimanche 23 juin 2019.chambre 909.

Le service a la clientèle est exécrable.
Tout d'abord on a notre arrivé on demande de changer de chambre, car la vue était vraiment catastrophique, alors que c’était une de nos demande spéciale.on descend a la réception pour demander un changement.et la, les deux personnes a la réception.une certaines Melissa et une autre. On été exécrable avec nous. Limite si on nous a pas engueulé.
Alors que nous étions des plus conciliant. On a même demandé a ce qu'on puisse attendre plus longtemps si une chambre se libère.

Un service horrible donc, comme si nous étions venu déranger ces personnes dans leur travail, alors que leur boulot, est justement de se faire solliciter par les clients.

Bref jamais de ma vie, j'ai du argumenter avec du personnel d'un hôtel qui ont toujours était correct et au petit soins, partout ou je suis allé a Montréal.

L’état de la chambre. On a trouvé un kleenex usagé sous la table.pas besoin d'en dire plus je pense.

Nous sommes monté a la piscine pour essayer de se relaxer. L'architecte n'a pas pensé a un truc. Ils ont mis les système d’aération a coté de la terrasse de la piscine. Vous avez donc un bruit de réacteur d'avions dans vos oreilles, alors que vous essayez de vous relaxer. La aussi du jamais vue dans un hôtel.

Dans la chambre, les produits de salle de bain nous avions un seul gel douche, un seul shampoing. La aussi du jamais vue dans un hôtel a ce prix la.

Bref Hotel a éviter, du personnel a la piscine.

My wife, our daughter and myself were there for a staycation and it was great! Room was clean, pool was great, parking was easy and staff was very kind! Right in the middle of downtown area!

Wow très satisfaite!
Hôtel au goût du jour, semble tout frai rénové.
Personnel accueillant.
Stationnement sur place.
Chambre très jolie et spacieuse.
Très confortable, il y a même deux types d’oreiller (un gros plus pour moi qui n’aime pas les oreillers trop mous).
Bref, je recommande grandement!

Never thought the Holiday Inn was so much fun. I booked a room for a client there, nothing special but functional and clean. The bartender, Victoria, was very helpful and made a boring evening a memorable one. Real Montreal hospitality at it’s best.

Never ever again! Even if things go wrong (room service) and you complain, the only thing that counts is: a paying customer. Absolutely respectless, how customer was ignored and treated. Very loud, as in working areas and bad isolation.

Best hotel stayed at in a very long time. Clean, modern, excellent location and staff were 100% friendly and helpful. Special mention to the Crossbar restaurant and manager Gasper. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Definitely not your average Holiday Inn.

Great location BUT, Alot of major construction all around the hotel and very noisy. The staff is very friendly and we gave the hotel an extra star because of Graeme the concierge. He was extremely helpful made lots of great recomendations and was the "face" for the hotel. 5 stars should go to Graeme!

Hôtel bien placé et très propre les chambres sont grandes et agréables la clim discrète et efficace un peu de bruit mais du à la situation en plein centre-ville le seul problème étant dans le petit déjeuner avec système de coupon qui ne laisse pas vraiment de liberté pour un prix malgré tout élevé nous aurions préféré un buffet

We had a nice view of downtown for our corner room. The hot tub, gym, sauna and pool were nice to have on the premises. The location is good for the price and the bed is very comfortable. My only complaint is that parking is expensive and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise a solid choice.

Room: I am luckily to book junior suite which was pretty enough for 4 persons
Very clean and new
Location is perfect
Swimming pool, sauna and gym are 4 stars
The only drawback is why I should pay for parking (28$/ night) and no late checkout (max is 12.30). I think I will consider another hotel for next time to get free parking and Kate check out

This Hotel is one of the best hotels in Montreal.

It is recently built and has spacious rooms and suites.

The recreation Centre (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and gym) are very clean and comfortable.

The parking under-ground multi-storey building is really convenient and cost around $32 per night.

The staff are highly trained and professional.

The Hotel is walking distance from most of the top ranked restaurants.

And for that reasons, I highly recommend staying in the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites.

Horrid experience, check in was a nightmare although hotel room was clean, I requested a double bed, instead I was put in a single bed room w my 18 yr old son, when I pointed my reservation. I was given a hard time and dismissed. Front Desk staff especially Gerta and Front Desk Mgr were incredibly unprofessional, blatantly disrespectful, disregarded my reservation request, it was very clear they hate Americans —- they both should not be working in the hotel industry— they have no people skills nor do they care about customers needs. Their unprofessional and disrespectful behavior ruined our stay/trip!
Montreal is beautiful but this experience put a dark cloud over our trip, we dreaded coming back to the hotel for the duration of our trip.

Great room, but the management was definitely disrespectful and not accommodating considering it was their staff that initially approved the storage of our bicycles in the holding room.

We always travel with our bikes and have stayed at the Hilton, fairmont, Hyatt, nellegan.all have either allowed the bikes to be stored in the room or the holding area.

Back story: I called ahead and was given the ok to have the bikes stored in the holding room. I wanted to make sure I’m not dealing with any surprises. When we checked in it was confirmed we were allowed to keep them in the holding area. I should note only hotel staff have access to this room which makes it’s safe.

We’re here for 3 nights and on night two I had to get the room keys reset and the manager told me I had store the bikes in the garage. If you’re a rider, or even if you’re not it doesn’t matter when you have expensive stuff, you usually want to make sure it’s safe. Offering to pad lock high end bikes in a parking garage (non-caged) is asking for them to get stolen. It’s montreal we’re talking about. Anyways I questioned the policy, which she said was somewhere and she needed time to find it. She then odacity to tell me that I’m being difficult. Maybe asking to see the policy is being difficult? Hmm well if it’s such a big deal, then why don’t you have it readily available before you address the situation with the guest. Furthermore, I offered to take full responsibility and pay for any incidentals left from having the bikes in the room. She wasn’t having it. Maybe this was me being difficult again.

So I wanted to stop this conversation because it was seemingly going nowhere, and took my bikes out of the holding room for the manager.

We’ll see if she actually gets the policy for me.if there actually is one.

Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

Stayed 2 nights here. We had a corner room and it was gorgeous. Modern, clean and comfortable. Staff at the desk, restaurant and house keeping were all super friendly. Beds/pillows were comfortable too.

I never write reviews, but this was misleading advertising. We picked this hotel because we needed a room with 2 beds. We arrived and they informed us that standard room meant they could change that - so we had a King. I looked everywhere and that was never made clear. Instead of offering us a rollout bed for free, they said they had no choice but to charge us $25.00 for a rollout bed. Just frustrating.
