Had a great experience today at this store. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional. I found exactly what I was looking for at a great price. They deliver and pick up the old appliances for recycling at a very good price and the delivery guys were fantastic; professional, on time, and very careful about not scratching anything. They have a wonderful selection of appliances and the prices are very competitive. I highly recommend buying from there. You won't be disappointed.

Honestly great prices and service 100% recommend. Our washer broke on us and we needed a new one, for the price they were offering we ended up getting and washer and dryer set. We had a small issue when we installed our new washer and they sent a tech over the next day to fix. Once again, amazing service!

My landlord purchased a GE washer/dryer
last week from The Clearance Man in the West Island. Although I would not have chosen this particular style especially being such a small machine I was having difficulty with the nobs on the washing machine.
There was absolutely no hesitation from Gerry, whom returned my texts promptly, Dan who guided him while lugging that monster into my home, and Paul who came to repair the problem immediately!
What a joy to be treated with respect and be given priority status with my concerns.
A true delight!
Oh and they did state they would send the manual by post.

Have lived on the west island for over 20 yrs and only recently discovered this gem of a store when replacing our refrigerator. Certainly not the B&M experience, but that is a very good thing. Knowledgeable straightforward staff, on time delivery and a great price.

A fun shopping experience. Lots of stock that changes all the time. We found exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend Home of the Clearance Man!

EDIT: Overall, the Home of the Clearance Man has lots of variety in appliances and fair prices. They have finally sent us the replacement part they promised when it broke during delivery months ago. Just wish they had been more responsive to our inquiries while we waited. Anyway, happy we have the part now. Hopefully, they are more responsive going forward.

I love these guys. I ordered enough appliances for a whole new apartment. Was completely cared for at the store picking everything out. Delivery was made so easy, the delivery team was on time, measured and made sure everything moved in safe and no damage to walls or the apartment. Great attitude and happy to help with any problems.
One of my appliances was used and after trying to start after installation. It wasn’t working. So I called and they had someone at my apartment the next day and it was fixed within a hour. They took amazing care of me and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Delivery guy 'Jerry' broke our appliance during delivery and refuses to replace broken part. Its been almost 6 months. Ignoring our calls and messages.

Oddly enough the admin of this business is a lot more promising compared to the actual customer experience. My purchase was damaged upon delivery but they have not replaced it at all. That was 4 months ago!

Always great value and service with a smile, I’ve bought 3 appliances from here and would recommend it to anyone!

Also helped me get the appliances to my house.
Delivery is extra but we’ll worth it. Great team of wonderful people over there go check it out for yourself!

J’ai acheté une cuisinière chez clearance man. Apres 3 semaines elle avait un defaut de manufacture. J’ai appelé le jeudi après midi et le dimanche matin deux hommes très gentil sont venus pour réparer la porte du four! Service exceptionnel! Bravo! Je recommande fortement cette place! BRAVO!

Excellent service in the store, great prices and options, however after purchase is a whole other story. Communication was very difficult and delivery date changed 3 times. I didn't expect to wait 3 weeks for delivery as I only live 12 min away. Delivery came with no notice, he complained about bringing it into the basement (from the basement parking) and we couldn't get it installed as we didn't have hoses nor did the new washer come with hoses.

Super friendly staff that encourages you to buy. I bought a pair of boxing gloves and as soon as I got home, unpacked them and realized both gloves were for the left hand. No refunds. Just be careful of what you buy and really look at it, there's plenty of cool trinkets and other stuff though.
