Hôpital en santé mentale Pierre-Janet

Sa prends tjrs des mois avant de que je puisse voir mon psychiatre. Puis souvent il essaie de remettre mes rendez vous quand que déjà il ne peuvent pas voir leur patient aussi souvent. J’avais un rendez vous 2 semaine passer en personne, j’ai tellement de chose en tête que j’ai oublier mon rendez vous. Personne ma appeler pour savoir ce qui se passait ou pour fixer une autre date lol.

Pierre Janet is the worst mental hospital. My daughter who's stuffer with mental health has been there since 2019, since she been there she's getting worst. They treat her more like a prisoner than a patient. I been asking to transfer her in Ottawa and nothing has been done for the past year. They mistreated her and punish her, sometimes leaving her no access to food. As an immigrant mom I feel shes been discriminated against and I'm asking if anyone knows the legal way to release her from the hospital before she gets any worst.

They make sure you take the medication you need think you need, they make sure you get to bed in time, they make sure you get exercise and get a few minutes of cardio, they make sure you eat healthy food, the staff are respectful if you treat them with respect. It's not perfect but it's a chance to get better, take it or reject it but it helped me a bit.they straighten you out, and send you on your way in the right direction. I only wished that there was more outside time while I was there a few months back, also it's a good place to detox and focus your mind.

Would give 0 stars if I could, this place sucks, Simkowitz sucks, the staff is rude, there's nothing to do and it's not helpful

Ma mère a passer souvent à cet hopital.j'était trop jeune dans le temps pour me rendre compte a quelle point c'était horribles.jy aie été quelques fois pour visiter ma mère.elle avait fait une grosse dépression et était devenue aggressive.mais mon père s'en occupai toujours il l'as jamais abandonner.je me souvien quil c'est mis en criss apres une infirmiere parce que quelqun avait voler l'argent de ma mère et des objets perssonelle.les gens ont rien fait pour l'aider réellement.quand elle as repris ces esprits elle n'as pas cesser de requêter sont porte feuille quelle avait fabriquer elle même.aucun effort n'as été mis pour retrouver ces choses.ont l'as surtout accuser d'avoir elle même jetter ces affaire au poubelle ou de ne plus ce souvenir de ce quelle en avait fait.elle n'était peu être pas toute là au début de sont entrer mais je la crois quand elle dit que sa voisine de lit volai ces choses.sa fait extremement longtemps de sa mais je me suis jamais remis de cette experiences.elle n'avait de cesse de dire quelle n'était pas bien traiter.quelle voulai revenir à la maison.ont ne pouvai pas l'emporter car ces nouveaux medicaments ne fonctionnai pas.elle fesai encore des crises:/ mon père encore était en beau calvère.

Sa fait plus que 6 mois que mon Docteur a fait une demande D'Urgence pour un Rendez Vous par et jai laisser au moins 20 messages vocal a une secretaire " Mme Verner! ", Mais et je me demandes si elle est encore en vacance, car je nai pas eu un appel de retour. Cest pas drole quand tu vis un traumatisme dans ta vie et que tu te sens comme si il ny auras jamais despoir.

I was there for 3 months for absolutely no reason, I did have issues but I didn't need or want to be there.the day staff were best, they understood me better, helped me with my homework and gave me tips on how to control my feelings and be okay.so I guess that's the only good thing.the night staff are lazy and rude, u need to pray and beg so they'll open the door to the living room or even rarer, take u outside.some staff were okay but most the time ull get yelled at for breathing too loud or doing anything that they think is wrong.the other teens there are alright, most people are in for the same reason and even if they're not then they can still make friends and hang out.atleast when I was there, the groups were often sociable and everyone talked and just chilled.the shared intense hatred of the staff and the terrible psychiatrist was a nice conversation starter.the gym and art stuff staff were nice.

Went for a psychiatrist appointment. Was traumatized by the experience. Psychiatrist should be fired. The place was dirty.

I was hospitalized multiple times there if you are suicidal they put you in isolation "to think about how much you have to lose" they treat us badly and often times completely ignore the patients or make fun of them horrible place

I am surprised to see the reviews here. My daughter was hospitalized in the adolescent clinic and the service was absolutely wonderful. I cannot thank the staff enough. Also, the post-hospitalization service team is AMAZING. The service continues to be excellent. I wanted to take the time to give this review so that the team can get the review they deserve. I get that not everyone's experience is the same but for my family, it was great. Thanks to all of the team at P-J adolescent clinic, both inpatient and outpatient teams.
