We have a welsh terrier, white schnauzer and mini poodle, they are all 14+ years old and have been taken care by Dre. Lebeau and Dr. Gagnon’s teams for their entire lives. Our pups have been to emergency rooms a couple of times in Lachine, and the emergency vets in Lachine are all very amazed by the thorough medical documentation and exam files that our vets provided. Hôpital Vétérinaire de l’île Perrot is a highly professional and caring vet clinic, the professionalism is from the entire team including the vets, technicians, receptionists, as well as all the newest and best facilities. We recommend them highly from the bottom of our hearts.

For more than 12 years my dogs have received excellent medical care from the team at Hôpital Veterinaire de l’lle Perrot.
I can not speak highly enough about the veterinarians, technicians and all of the staff.
They have saved the lives of my pups multiple times, which says it all.

They charge $40 to trim rabbit nails…. So you’re paying almost $50 with tax for a NAIL TRIM! If you have 2 rabbits you’re looking at $90+ with tax for 2 nail trims that take 10 minutes max. Absolute robbery. To put this into perspective, Pierrefond vet charges $20 per rabbit nail trim. We’re not talking a 10-20% difference, we’re talking 50% … Very unfortunate as I was excited to have a vet that takes exotic pets nearby. Guess I’ll drive the 20 min to Pierrefonds - not being taken advantage of is worth the extra mileage. Beautiful building otherwise and staff seemed fairly nice…. Not sure what they charge for a checkup, not sure I want to know.

Dr. Gagnon and his team were wonderful during a recent emergency with my 2-year old cat. From the people at the front desk to the vet techs, every single person was so kind and empathetic towards us. I really appreciated their care and am now switching over to have them as my regular vet.

Je fréquente l’hôpital vétérinaire de l’île-Perrot depuis que mon golden Toby est bébé (3 ans maintenant) Nous sommes toujours bien accueillis et le personnel est attentif. Le vétérinaire que nous avons vu pour l’examen annuel de Toby a pris le temps de bien l’examiner, poser les bonnes questions et répondre aux miennes. Je suis toujours rassurée lorsque nous quittons la clinique.

Wonderful vet. Came here as an emergency as my little chihuahua was having trouble breathing. They took him in right away and examined him and put him on oxygen. Vet saw him and explained everything needed including tests etc. Very caring and professional staff and vet. Mr. Gagnon was amazing and even stayed late to take care of my little guy. Would highly recommend.

I have my dog and my rabbit at this veterinary clinic and I am very satisfied with the care my animals receive here! No matter the situation, the staff are always doing their best to accommodate, reassure and support my animals and I! I have been in several situations where my animals required immediate medical attention and these lovely people did their best to fit me in! I am beyond grateful for this clinic and its staff. They are honest and reliable. Choose them for your fur babies!

Worst experience I've ever had with a vet last year. Overpriced. Looks for ways to add up a bill. Had a hard time getting my companion out of there

I am only leaving a 1 star because the staff is nice and offer good care to animals.

In terms of customer service, they are extremely pushy and excellent salespeople.

I have been bringing my dog here to renew her prescription for allergy meds. She has recurring allergies every season. It’s mandatory for the dog to be checked to renew the meds. They pressure you to get vaccines, and medication that is not essential. They make you feel like you have no choice and can not decline. I told the vet I did not have the money to purchase nexgard for my dog. (I have always purchased it in the past). Due to currently being unemployed. Instead of accepting my refusal, they kept insisting on other medication that was more affordable. I felt so pressured as it was 2 people against 1.

After paying my bill I came home and realized that I just simply could not afford it. So I called back to ask if I could return the brand new boxed medication and was told they do not accept returns. Which I understand is their policy. However, the incessant scare tactics is unlike anything I have ever experienced at other veterinarian clinics.

Beware of this place. They only care about money.

I never write reviews although I should. But this business is worthy of celebration.

I have a cat, which has a twin brother as well. He has very serious issues, was thinking of euthanasia because of his suffering. Already spend thousands with other vets. Single dad, three boys, limited budget.

They went above and beyond. Not only did they limit their fees to prescribed drugs that were meaningful, but the continuous follow-up, by many people, was tremendous.

We are now able to manage his ailments with their recommendations for diet and meds.

He is doing great! His twin is happy he is still around. My boys are happy to have a family member, maker of precious childhood memories. I am super happy because pets are pivotal to a happy household.

And I, personally, a big empathetic guy that believes that harmony is family, could not be happier.

The staff are really pet friendly, clean environment and are able to answers all your questions.

The best part about this place is the receptionist. She is so professional, kind, patient, and polite. Haven't seen customer service that good in a long time.

The staff members are caring and friendly. The clinic is spacious, clean and bright. There is a wide selection of food and accessories.
