I can't say enough about the positive regard I hold for the clinic, the staff and of course my wonderful vet, Dr. Erdsman. I live in the heart of downtown Montreal and make the very long drive to your clinic because of the wonderful care my most precious animals receive at your clinic. You are always available, from emergcies to everyday questions to regular visits. I wish my own health care providers offered the service and access that you provide to my animals. Kudos to a well run clinic, a great staff and competent patient and caring vets! Highest recommendations!

Love this vet hospital. I’ve come here for my cat and dog and every time the staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to get an appointment and follow ups. Definitely recommend.

This is an amazing place. They really care about their patients and the families. We started coming here to get physiotherapy for our dog Juno and Sarah Richard, the therapist worked very hard to help improve his mobility. Juno had many health issues, some unexplained and they researched and gave us the best treatment options.
When sadly it was time for us to say good bye, the team at the clinic especially Dr M. Tomassino was so kind and compassionate, she made it a lot easier for us all.
The whole staff that night was very supportive. Thank you to Dr Dunbar, Dr Allen and especially Dr Tomassino and their amazing and compassionate staff. We are forever grateful

We took our dog Nala to this hospital for an emergency visit and they were so kind and compassionate. Sadly we found out some sad news that day and decided to put our beloved baby down. The hospitality and compassion during our baby's last moments were incredible. Our vet Dr. Schecter and the technicians made Nala feel so comfortable in her last moments with us. Forever in our hearts.

The veterinary service is ok but watch out for slippery floors! My dog came for a shoulder injury and aggravated it just in the waiting room as he was slipping lots: (. If you have an older dog, a dog with any hip dysplasia or other orthopaedic problems please be extremely careful. Dogs might also be afraid to walk on such floors if they feel slippery: (.
I understand it’s easy to clean but it’s really hard for the dogs.

Thank you for your answer. I would suggest warning your clients, especially older dogs or the ones that come for orthopedic problems because for asking for a carpet they would first need to witnesses the slippery floor and it might be a second too late like for mine. Thank you.

Excellent service and very responsive team. Prices were competitive and was seen fairly close to the date I called to make the appointment.

My only problem was the employee parking was not marked differently than the customer parking. Not an actual problem, I just had to carry my hefty cat a little distance. I still give them a 10/10.

Our bird was bleeding out and we called close to closing. The woman on the phone said to still come in, that they would wait and still see us since they are the closest hospital and it was an emergency. When we got there 15min later they saw us knocking and didn't let us in or even acknowledge us. Two of them went to their car and I asked if someone was in to see my bird who was bleeding and they said no and didn't even care. I had to keep asking what to do for them to finally tell me which vet was still open. I asked them why they wasted my time by telling me to still come in on the phone at 8: 30 and they ignored me and just said they close at 8, not caring what the tech on the phone said or even bothering to see if she was still in. Staff needs to learn how to communicate and how to be honest and not play games when an animal's life is on the line. Ridiculous. This is in the middle of winter. My bird could have died if not for the quick action of DMV. Going to Timberlea or Sherbrooke from now on, at least their staff actually cares about animals.

I highly recommend Dr. Annemarie Masse.
She’s been treating my pets for many years and she’s always been very caring and compassionate, especially when one needs it most.
She goes to the extra mile, and never looks impatient or treats anyone with condescension.
She’s wonderful with both her patients and their owners, and takes the stress out of the consultations.
She’s definitely deserving of five stars!

We have just transferred our furbaby to this clinic, and we cam definitely say that this is, hands down, the best service we have ever had in 3 years of owning our dog. The staff knew right away who our dog was walking into the clinic which means the staff is knowledgeable. Bingsu and us were greeted with such a joyful greeting! He needed to go on the scale, and they were patient with him and we were taking to the examination room without wait! The technician asked us questions since it was his girst visit at this clinic, and made sure to explain us all the procedures, the vaccins and their effects. Again, very knowledgeable and eloquent when sharing that information. As we waited for the vet, Bingsu was calm.which is normally not the case. The room was cozy, and he was at ease. When the vet came to meet us, again, asking all the right questions to make sure Bingsu would have the best care possible. She had all the high reward treats to make him feel at ease, and asked us how he normally is during vet visits. She knew how to handle him, and it was simply amazing! I 150% this clinic, because when you have experienced the worse.you can definitively recognize the best! Thank you thank you for your love for pets. Bingsu left smiling which is uncommon!

J'ai été Client depuis plus de 30 ans (Plusieurs Chiens, présentement 2 Chiens de grande taille) et depuis les dernières années (Depuis leurs déménagement), ce n'est plus le même Vétérinaire Amical/Invitant d'avant (Je croit qu'ils ont changé d'administration v'là quelques années de cela), maintenant ils ne sont qu'a l'argent un point c'est tous, c'est très désolant cars nous aimons tellement nos animaux et je n'ai pas ressentit d'empathie de la part de leur Réceptionniste non plus (Je pourrait la nommer).
Je viens d'essayer d'avoir un rendez-vous pour mon chien pour une infection d'oreilles, ils me disent qu'ils n'ont ''pas de place'' avant Octobre? !? , donc ils veulent me charger une visite en ''Urgence'' due a LEUR ''Manque de Gestion''?
euhhh Non, ca c'est l'boutte, c'est ben beau cracher du $$ pour nos êtres chers, mais asser c'est asser. Il viennent de perdre un client avec moi et pas mal toute mes amis/voisins aussi (Ils ont vécus des expériences similaire ces dernières années.) Je ne les recommande plus du tout.c'est de valeur car il sont a 2min de chez moi.

Very sweet, loving, caring and polite staff. Took great care of my cat. My cat is usually very stressed in public situations with new people but the great staff there was so sweet and calmed her down in a matter of seconds. Thanks a million to the staff!

J’ai eu 2 mauvaises expériences avec mon chien à cet endroit. Premièrement, elle a eu une hernie suite à son opération pour ne pas avoir de petits mais ils n’ont jamais pris la responsabilité de celle-ci et je l’ai fait enlever quelques années plus tard ailleurs en faisait faire un détartrage. J’avais fait faire un estimé à cette clinique pour le détartrage et le prix variait entre 1800 et 2500$ pour un nettoyage complet! Très dispendieux… surtout que l’autre endroit le faisait à 800$… J’ai aussi consulté en urgence la semaine dernière pour la modique somme de 600$ car mon chien a des difficultés respiratoires. On a diagnostiqué une bronchite mais quand nous avons téléphoné pour dire que la situation empirait, ils ont dit que je devrais repayer pour une consultation afin qu’ils me dirigent vers une clinique spécialisée car ils n’ont pas l’équipement nécessaire. Si ce n’est pas profiter de la vulnérabilité des gens qui ont peur pour la santé de leur animal, je me demande ce que c’est…

Been a paying customer for years! No customer service no compassion for our animals anymore! It's all about the money with these people. Pushing out emergency visits to make the extra buck! I called and asked to have a Dr call me back and nobody calls me back! My dog is still in pain! Don't give me a line saying we are sorry! If you cared I would of received a call back! Nobody called. Last time I came in your staff was laughing on what they did on the weekend! Very unprofessional! Do your job!
After spending thousands at your vet over the years you should be ashamed. Shame on you!

On the 8th of August Dr Tomasino and the staff assisted our beloved dog Java of 17 years to pass. The care and service was exceptional. We were deeply touched by the high level of compassion. Thank you all for making a tough decision a bit easier. The Dubés

I love this place, specifics the way they treat their clients, super profesional.
We have experienced our worst day by putting down our fur baby with this amazing team. They treat you way more respectful than they treat you in human hospitals.
Today we have received a letter from their team for our loss.

Amazing Vet today. Very compassionate and knowledgeable. The young man at reception was amazing with fear free technique as well. Great tech who greeted us for the preliminary questions.

Very good veterinarians, very professional, im satisfied with their work however the young girls at the front desk are very unprofessional and unfriendly. I understand that this might not be the most exciting job ever but show at least a bit of respect to your customers. Whispering to each other about their vacations thinking the customers in line cant see or hear you is very rude. We were waiting with two other customers while the girls were talking about their weekend plans, not acknowledging us. Even while they were serving us they continued talking to each other, never making us feel welcomed.
We also tried to book an appointment with one of them and we waited for a good 2 minutes thinking she was putting our info in, to then turn around and ask the other girl to book an appointment for us saying that she was too tired for this. She never apologized or even told us the reason as to why we waited for so long.
Its also not the first time it happens. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but now its the third time and i cant rationalize their behaviour anymore. Please, give them a proper training on customer service.

Très déçu, j'ai appeler pour avoir une petite information pour le calcul de la quantité de gravol à donner a mon chien qui est malade en auto. (ex? Ml/kg) car mon vet était fermé et j'avais besoin de l'information avant de partir aujourd'hui, ils ont refusé de me donner l'information car nous sommes pas client chez eux. Si on paye pas, pas de service. Une chance qu'il y a d'autres cliniques vétérinaires plus serviable qu'eux pour rendre service pour une information qui se donne en 2 min. Contente que se soit pas mon vet enfin compte.

Sorry to say that after being a loyal client with my cats and dogs … at least 25 years and always receiving a good service. Yesterday I called for our new puppy that needed a booster and deworming medicine they told me not before end of August! And maybe I should be calling somewhere else, wow really how long does it take to provide this service 15 minutes. I guess repeat and continual patronage, even before they moved is not worth much. I called another place which said they were also busy until end of August but for this service they would fit me in because it’s sort of urgent. I guess my 3 cats and my new puppy will be moving on.

Avoid this clinic they just care about making money and not for your pet.
I needed to renew a prescription for my dog: Nextgard and Heartgard for this year. Flea season is starting and we started to go to our cottage. They didnt want to renew the prescription if they dont see my dog. I asked for an appointment and they give me in 1 month and 1/2. My dog will be at risk for long then. Recep;tionist didnt care and just didnt give me any solution.
I'm switching veterinary; they just dont care about my dog.

Everyone seems very kind and friendly here. I came in, last week, to get my bunny neutered. I was very nervous about him getting hurt because he always jumps out of people's arms and can get seriously injured (He hates being held which is why I ask ppl not to). I sounded like an extremely over protective mom but the technician was so kind about it and took note about the jumping. She did not make me feel bad about it at all, which I really appreciated. She was very reassuring! When I came to pick him up the other tech was also very patient with my many questions. I'm very grateful for their patience and understanding! The place is also very clean. Bonus! Thank you again!

Wow quelle bonne expérience avec la vétérinaire et les techniciens et techniciennes. C'était ma première visite avec mon petit chat, les gens de la clinique ont prit soin de lui et nous ont mit en confiance tout les deux. Absolument rien de négatif à dire ils sont fantastique!

Si je pouvais faire une recommandation, ce serait d'installer quelque chose a l'extérieur pour attendre à l'ombre avec notre animal.

My girlfriend and her family had to bring her cat in a few weeks ago for a potential urinary blockage that actually turned out to be cancer.the clinic provided amazing service to constant updates. He had to be unfortunately put down and the service was so nice, and the staff were amazing to them. Keep up the amazing work you do for the animals!

We brought our dog in and got a referral to a specialist. We got a 10,000$, surgery done from thier referral.
We have pet insurance and put in a claim. Our claim was refused, due to 1 veterinary did not send in thier paperwork for out claim. Pierrefonds animal hospital has yet to send in the insurance claim paperwork. We have been waiting for almost 3 months. They are not responsive and have not been picking up the phone.
We have seen around 5 veterinarians and they have all done the insurance claim paperwork except for Pierrefonds animal hospital.
We are still waiting.
Not pleased with service.

I am usually someone who always writes positive reviews and when I find a place that does not give me great service I really try giving them a chance, but this place PLEASE AVOID.
If you are looking for a veterinary that looks after your pets, PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE, especially if it is an emergency. It is now the third or fourth time I tried getting someone (either a vet or even a technician) there to see my dogs and they always tell me they are too busy and then proceed to give me an appointment in about weeks time, and when I just showed up there (through emergency) they turned me away telling me that they have no one to see my pets.
There were also times where I booked an appointment and when I called back to cancel it they told me no one even booked that appointment for me. Extremely unprofessional and not to mention VERY expensive. There are so many other veterinary clinics that are actually there to look after your loved ones because they care not simply to make money.

I have been multiple times for two dogs. The staff are extremely empathic and professional, the service is high quality, and the building is modern and tastefully decorated.

Leur priorité est l'argent!
Je suis allée à cette clinique en décembre dernier avec mon nouveau chien que j'ai adopté d'un refuge. La visite était pour un examen général et donner 2 vaccins dont elle avait besoin. La vétérinaire m'a donné d'autres médicaments à lui donner à la maison pour les puces et ver du coeur. Elle m'a aussi donné un shampooing spécial, sans m'indiquer le prix (à 46$!). La facture a été beaucoup plus élevée que ce à quoi je m'attendais, j'ai été prise par surprise au moment de payer la facture, surtout avec le prix de ce shampooing qui fait grimper le total. En février, j'ai ressorti la bouteille de shampooing en question, pour me rendre compte que la date d'expiration est février 2021! Ils me l'ont vendu en décembre et est déjà expiré! Comme je n'ai jamais eu besoin de l'utiliser (mon chien n'a aucune démangeaison donc je peux utiliser un shampooing régulier acheté en animalerie à un prix très raisonnable) Je suis retournée à la clinique pour leur demander de reprendre le shampooing (qui n'a jamais été utilisé). Ils ont refusé! Je leur ai donc demandé d'au moins me l'échanger pour une bouteille non déjà expirée et ils ont encore refusé! C'est complètement ridicule, je n'en reviens pas du très mauvais service à la clientèle de cet endroit!

I went the morning of my birthday to this clinic because my cat looked very sick and I ended up having to put him down because he was too far gone. I want to thank all the staff for being ultra professional and understanding and super caring. They let me and my son hold our cat during his last moments and a few moments before and afterwards to properly say goodbye, I cannot thank you enough for giving me this privileges. You guys are really awesome thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Out of many other good vets, they are very clean and on point, they take the right precautions and have a lot of inhouse tech, it is reflected in price. You get what you pay for. Highly recommend

They wouldn’t accept an emergency appointment (which we were willing to pay for) 40 minutes before they were going to close because “we weren’t clients of theirs”. Not exactly an incentive to go back.ever.

The veterinarians and technicians working here truly care for our fur babies. Yes it is a rather big clinic and sometimes your file will get passed around to different vets, but that's a positive as you'll get diverse and helpful input. Thanks for the care!

Rendez-vous rapide pour première consultation pour, détartrage sur un jeune chat; spéculation sur son état de santé dentaire etc. Estimation aux alentours des 3 000$. Proposé de commencer par le détartrage estimé à 600$ environ. Jamais reçu de nouvelles, ai donc été ailleurs, le chat a eu son détartrage, n'avait pas besoin de plus de soin dentaire; chirurgie etc. Pas fâché, pas surpris, c'est comme ça partout dans tout. En hésitant à accepter immédiatement les soins proposés, ça fait en sorte qu'on ne m'a pas contacté plus tard pour prise de rendez-vous etc. En tout cas, le chat va bien.

Very cold.friend was left to euthanize her dog alone while we waited outside for her. I understand that covid has changed things but to leave her by herself while putting down her best friend was just cruel. Reception knew we were outside and never told us what my friend was going through. Euthanasias should be the exception to the norm and at least have 1 other person in the room while the passing is taking place.
