Après plus de 20 ans de fidélité à une clinique vétérinaire laquelle je laissais plus de 5000$ dollars par année en consultations, examens, suivis et médicaments pour mes vieux animaux, clinique qui, avec les années, a tellement pris d'expansion que j'avais l'impression, lorsque j'arrivais là, d'être au bureau des passeports! Et ce qui va avec, bien sûr, d'être devenu un numéro (de carte de crédit!), mes 2 dernières expériences ne m'avaient apporté que frustrations. Donc, après les commentaires élogieux et les chaudes recommandations de personnes de mon entourage à propos de votre clinique, j'ai décidé de faire le saut. C'était donc ma première expérience et je suis contente d'avoir finalement pris un rendez-vous avec mon vieux chat de 15 ans. J'ai rencontré Dre Givogue et j'ai tellement apprécié la consultation avec elle! Très professionnelle, évident qu'elle sait ou elle s'en va et qu'elle en a vu d'autres. Son diagnostique possible a été confirmé à 150% avec les tests sanguins de mon animal. Elle m'a ensuite très bien expliqué les résultats, les médicaments à administrer et son plan de match pour la suite. Ce sont avec des gens comme elle que j'aime faire affaires, des gens qui savent ou ils s'en vont. Également j'ai beaucoup aimé l'ambiance chaleureuse et presque familiale qui règne à cet endroit, quelque chose que je n'avais pas vécu depuis des années. Donc, préparez-vous, je transfère ma gang chez vous! ;-) Au plaisir!

J'ai pas été encore avec mon Roky, mais quand le vet revient de vacance je vais le voir, mes les secrétaire, comment sont heureuse, ça paraît il m'ont bien parler, sont calme merci de votre gentillesse, Roky à hâte de vous voir aussi pour être opération luxation du genou arrrere,

Très bonne clinique j'y vais depuis 20 ans j'adore Dre Givogue et Emilie au secrétariat. Si je donne la note de 4 c'est au niveau du secrétariat depuis un certain temps. Je sais que l'on doit acquérir de l'expérience mais quand on vous réponds d'un ton pas trop confiant et pas profesionnel ce n'est pas très rassurant pour nous

Thanks so much to the staff and Dr. Plasse for their expertise and care for my dog Sage. All I had to do was follow post op TPLO surgery instructions for the recovery period which we did and she was a Month ahead of her scheduled recovery of three months to begin controlled running, thank you all so much for your love of the animals. Best Vet ever!

My mother-in-law phoned them on Wednesday to book a set of shots for her cat. The appointment was confirmed for Friday. Yesterday evening they called to let her know she needed to provide a credit card for a $25 hold in order to keep the appointment. (Credit cards are not supposed to be taken over the phone). As it was our card she would use, she had to wait to get our card details but stated she would pay in person when she arrived. She explained this over the phone and was told that was alright. This morning, they called again to tell her they had cancelled her appointment because she “gave a story” and that “someone else needed to see the vet more”. If it was an emergency, that should have been relayed to her, as I can understand if a vet needs to be taken away from an appointment to deal with a very sick case. The woman’s response: “it doesn’t matter”. I am in absolute awe. I cannot believe they would cancel like this and then have the audacity not to book her a new appointment. “I’m sorry ma’am but this is too bad” was the woman’s response. This behaviour is outrageous, rude and blatantly unprofessional. The woman was extremely rude on the phone. If this is how they treat the owners, imagine how they treat your pet. We will NEVER be coming to this vet again and I strongly encourage anyone else who might consider booking with them to do the same.

Je ne recommande pas cette clinique. Si vous avez une urgence ne comptez pas sur eux pour vous rappeler. J’ai laissé 2 messages à intervalles de quelques jours et je n’ai jamais eu de retour. Aussi il y a souvent des erreurs sur leurs factures.faites attention aux surcharges et demandez des factures détaillées. Finalement, lorsque vous arrivez à parler avec quelqu’un ou avoir du service et qu’on vous promet un retour de leur part à x moment.ne prenez pas ça pour acquis. On devait me rappeler mardi passé. J’ai fait un suivi hier (vendredi) et la secrétaire m’a promis un retour avant la fermeture, pas de nouvelle, j’ai rappelé avant la fermeture et on m’a promis ce matin samedi et toujours pas d’appel. Très décevant.

Nous avons eu un excellent service a chaque visite pour Millie notre chat, de l'adoption, aux examens, chirurgies, et l'euthanasie. L'équipe est professionnelle, attentionnée, courtoise, prend tout le temps nécessaire pour tout expliquer et nous conseiller, jusqu'à passer 45 minutes au téléphone pour discuter d'options de traitement et répondre a nos questions. Ils ont toujours été prêts à nous faire de la place la journée même pour les urgences, et lors de l'euthanasie nous avons pu prendre tout le temps qu'on voulait pour dire au revoir, et chaque étape à été expliquée clairement. Je recommande fortement, et un très gros merci à Dre Givogue et Dre Breton, ainsi qu'à toutes les techniciennes et réceptionnistes qui ont été là pour nous, et pour Millie, a chaque étape.

Tried it a few times and honestly I’m always disappointed with their service, the ladies in the front/phones are simply disrespectful, definitely will never go back there and advise many of you to go somewhere else.

I brought my cat Daisy here in December and unfortunately had to make the difficult decision to have her euthanized. The team at this clinic was wonderful. From the receptionist to the technician's to the vet, I cannot thank them enough for their sympathy and compassion on that difficult day. I received a beautiful sympathy card in the mail signed by the team. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone and when I am ready for a new companion I will definitely be back. Thanks to all of you.

Dr plesses is honestly the best and truly cares about our pets highly recommended going it’s so hard to find good vets now theses days they all only want our money and they don’t care about our babies! But here they do!

They take the time to answer your questions and they explain things in a very clear way. I am so happy with the treatment my dog received at this wonder clinic. Bien satisfaite d'avoir fait ce choix pour mon gros chat. C'est l'approche et l'accueil qui, après la compétence, font souvent la différence. Personnel courtois et efficace, techniciens en soins animaliers avec des connaissances bien aiguisées qui sont au-devant pour bien nous renseigner et des vétérinaires qui aiment prendre leur temps. On ressent la passion pour les animaux.

All my pets go here! I wouldn’t trust any other place honestly. My dog Romeo has had two surgeries performed here one for a full teeth extraction due to his breed and being a senior dog. They took the best care of him and called me several times to let me know how it was going it meant a lot since I was so worried! Their price was fair for all that had to be done as well. He made a full recovery and is a completely new dog and is still thriving. Thank you to all the staff and doctors here for having compassion and caring for our fur babies. I highly recommend this vet to everyone.

Nous sommes allés hier en urgence pour euthanasier notre chat Billy, tout s'est fait de façon professionnelle, j'ai pu assister à l'euthanasie et ensuite nous avons pu moi et ma femme rester un moment seul avec notre chat dans la salle. I had so many bad experiences with veterinarians around Montreal area until I found this pet hospital. ALL the staff are GREAT! Very polite, professional and friendly people. They like what they do and this definitely reflects on their services. From the secretary to the veterinarian assistance until the veterinarian, I had an awesome experience. The veterinarian was great with our dog. We could tell she loves all the animals and she works with passion from the bottom of her heart. That makes all the difference. I would highly recommend!

I am so touched by the clinic. They were so good and kind with my cat Nayla. After she passed they sent me a sympathy card.

Ça fait maintenant un peu plus de 4 ou 5 ans que je vais à cette endroit-ci pour notre chien. Majoritairement, tous les membres de l'équipe sont aimables. Cependant, la justification de ma note 5 étoiles repose particulièrement sur 2 personnes qui jusqu'à ce jour ont toujours été exceptionnelles.
D'abord, Émilie à la réception qui est toujours impeccable pour vous accueillir autant au téléphone qu'en personne avec son constant sourire.
Et ensuite, à notre vétérinaire Dre. Diana S. Maoli qui offre une consultation qui met le bien-être des animaux et de leur maître de l'avant. Attentionné à ses patients et clients, son approche est douce et compréhensive. Attentive à vos questionnements, elle saura y répondre et vous expliquera ses réponses. Elle sait vous conseiller et vous éclairer dans les divers choix/possibilités de traitement/soin le cas échéant.

Merci à votre clinique et particulièrement à vous deux qui rendent nos visites agréables.

This is the only vet who took the time to explain to me what was happening to my cat, in a way that made sense and that did not pressure me to spend lots of money. They provide top notch care for animals, and also are reasonable with their prices. After hundreds of dollars spent elsewhere they finally found why my cat had allergies. I fully trust the staff here with my pet. Shop around as you like, you'll end up bringing your animal here in the end!

I have spent several hundred dollars at this clinic buying food for my 2 cats and dog this year alone. My dog absolutely refuses to eat one huge bag of food I bought from them. The clinic refuses to take it back even though the company (Hill's Prescription Diet) has a 100% satisfaction guaranteed or money-back policy. The bag is almost full and the expiry date is late next year. I am taking my (significant) business elsewhere from now on.

Nous avons 4 chats et un chien. Cette clinique a toujours su prendre bien soin de notre petite famille qui, malheureusement, a connue son lot de problème de santé. This clinique has been extremely unprofessional and my entire experience with them has been horrible.

I want to precise here that I never wrote a negative review in my life and the only reason I'm taking the time to do so is because I am extremely concerned about their behaviour.

It all started when I brought my dog to the vet for an ear problem and they pointed out that he had some irritation on his paws. They prescribed me meds, which I gave to my dog, without question, as they recommended.

Two days later my dog starts having tremours in his legs and seemed to be in pain when walking. As a pet owner, you know when your dog is behaving differently and he is not being himself. In such, I was extemely concerned and I rushed him to the vet.

The vet did not take me seriously and said it was nothing alarming and gave my dog some benadryl.

I want to precise here that I asked the vet if the medication I had been giving him could be the cause of his behaviour. She said it was impossible that this medication would result in these side effects. Very reluctant of this affirmation, I decided to do my own research. I found out that the drug I had been giving my dog (vanectyl-p) was a type of steroid and that there were in fact many possible side effects such as, and I quote "drowsiness, sluggishness, tremors. ".

Against my better judgement, I still did at the vet prescribed because I trusted them. The next day my dog was still in pain and now he could barely walk, the benadryl had not helped one bit. And so again I rushed him to the vet. This time, they seemed concerned. They did x-rays, blood tests, which all came back perfectly normal.

They suggested I leave my dog at the vet since it was the weekend and I would be unable to reach them sunday if he was not well. Afraid for my dog, I left him in their care because who would take better care of my dog than a professional right?

I received a call from the vet on Monday saying that they thought my dog could maybe have a disease called myasthenia gravis. The vet seemed completely unsure of her statement but still decided to give my dog more steroids, this time cortizone because if he in fact had that disease, he would need these meds, and they strongly insisted I keep giving him cortisone and pain killers. She said cortisone could only help my dogs case.

At this point, I started becoming extremely concerned. When I went to pick up my dog on Monday he seemed even worst than when i left him, he could not get up on his own and seemed overdrugged. He was skinner that usual and it honestly made me cry to look at him.

Thinking back on this whole situation, that my dog started having trouble 2 days after taking new meds, that they had no certainty at all about his condition, that my dog is only 1 year old and was perfectly healthy before taking these meds, I went against their advice.

I took my dog home, cut all the meds to see how he would recover on his own until I got the results from the second set of blood tests (required to diagnose myasthenia gravis). Day by Day he was getting better, stronger, more and more able to walk on his own.

1 week later the vet calls with the results, turns out my dog does not have myasthenia gravis. Concerned she advises me to stop giving him cortisone as this would be extremely harmful for a dog that did not have the disease. Good thing I did not listen to them right?

What if I had trusted them and given him the meds? Their behaviour is honestly ridiculous and so unprofessional. We are supposed to be able to trust the care of our animals to these people and all they did was make my dogs condition worse.

Everyone makes mistakes, but at least have the dilligence to exhaust all options before prescribing harmful drugs to a pet when it might not be necessary.

I am honestly shocked about this whole situation. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone.

Il m'on vendu 2 packet d'Antibiotique et plusieurs seringue d'Antidouleur alors que mon chat n'en a pas besoin. Ce sont des voleur. En plus, l'antidouleur qui mon vendu est complètement inutile. Il a pour effet de réduire les effets et l'absorption des 2 autres médicaments que j'avais besoin. Un médicament avec une liste folle d'effet secondaire que mon animal de compagnie n'A pas besoin. J'aimerai tellement pouvoir les poursuivre en justice. On me vend aussi des antibiotiques que mon animal n'a pas besoin pour le problème qu'il a. Moi je les ai quand même acheté, car il faut une prescription pour en avoir et elle servent à d'autre chose. Je ne les donnera pas à mon animal aujourd’hui, car il n'en a pas besoin. Elles seront servi pour la bonne cause.

They dont care about your animal. All they care about is the exam fees thwy want to charge you and want to push you to bring your animal in for a check up so they can charge you instead. Never going there again.
