Hotel Espresso Montreal

Problème de propreté a l'arrivée dans la chambre. On a du se faire transférer dans une autre. Les chambres ne sont par très bien isolé et le personnel d'entretien n'est aucunement discret. Nous nous sommes fait réveiller par leurs discussion lors de nos deux nuits sur place.
Piscine fermé, restaurant fermé, stationnement non inclus avec la chambre. Si au moins leurs prix étaient abordables j'aurais compris.
Je ne renouvellerai pas l'expérience.

Don’t stay here, elevators only worked sometimes, overpriced, hallways weren’t clean, loud, very uncomfortable, broken beer bottle and beer in the floor of the elevator when we reported it to security they didn’t even do anything or even speak to me when I told them. Only thing good was staff are mostly friendly

Vraiment déçu. Wi-Fi coupe tout le temps. Stationnement 30$ par nuit qui n'est aucunement indiquée quand on réserve la chambre. Le frigidaire de refroidie pas super bien. J'en n'ai fait des hôtels mais la je ne suis vraiment pas impressionné.

I was skeptical after seeing the reviews, but after staying 4 nights for the Metallica concert in a 2 bedroom suite, I was happy with my stay here. Room was clean and cozy, the staff was very friendly, and we had a great view of downtown Montreal (see photo). My only complaint was the Wi-Fi not working in our room but it was fine in the hallway, not a deal breaker for me though.

One thing to note is that this hotel does greet evacuees on a regular basis. Although it wasn't an issue for us, the entrance inside and outside can get crowded during check-in hours, just FYI.

I stayed at the hotel from August 22 to 23, room 410. Based on my personal experience, I want to say that I am very satisfied with the hotel, it is cozy, clean, everything is at a high level, I especially want to note Asif who works at the front desk, this men is a professional and a good responsive person I personally recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back

The door key wasn't working all time. Had been asked for 3 times to change the key code. Never worked until we left the hotel on last day lol. When I was at front desk to ask the key code changed the second time, I heard there was key issue for the people infont of me too.

Excellent cool, pleasant place with climate, the attention is very personalized, they speak three different languages, English, French and Spanish. Card payment with debit or credit card Free Wi-Fi access

It was clean and the price was good.
Swimming pool and gym under construction. Parking is also easy, only pay

Stayed there Feb. 24th for 2 nights as my son and I went to the Habs game. Room was good, big and comfortable. The linoleum for the floor was different but worked out as snow and other stuff stuck to our shoes so cleaning the floor would be easy. Beds were comfortable and clean. My only caveat is the security deposit that I paid on my debit card was never returned to me even though I was told it would be returned to me after I check out. I sent 2 emails and called, no one has gotten back to me. For this reason I wouldn't book another room there when we decide to go back to Montreal. **Update: Many thanks to Bridgette as she reached out to me and the situation was resolved quickly and efficiently. She deserves a lot of credit. Re-evaluating my decision to stay at an other hotel next time I'm in Montreal.

Room for the Sci Fi book fair was small but there was another event with large room space. Seems like it can host quite a few people.

Everything is fine. Free coffee any time. The only thing make me feel bad is they don't have toothbrush and toothpaste for you so you have to bring your own.

We only used this hotel for parking. It was reasonable for downtown up the street from a hostel, though next time I might just stay there. It looks very nice and yes they serve espresso at the front desk!

Great car renter many cars in the garage to choice from but come early to pick a car because the best cars are always gone by after noon

Hotel was nice, but the neighborhood could use some cleaning up and the people loitering around the front door made entering and exiting a little sketchy.

A budget hotel at an expensive rate. Good location for Downtown Montreal with a very large and comfortable bed. Staff were generally helpful.
Lots of building work going on around hotel (started pile driving at 0730!). The front of the hotel could do with a clean up and there are cinstantly a group of people outside smoking which gives a bad inpression (make a smoking shelter away from the entrance). The wi fi is poor throughout the building and keeps drpping out, the best place for wi fi is the reception which results in a crowd gathering all looking at phones. There seems to be sort sort of social housing / care in the community programme going on in the hotel. I saw large quantities of prescription drugs being delivered to reception who clearly did not want me to see this, there is some physiothereapy treatments going on in the gym for the local community and i saw the social workers mini bus parked out on a number of occasions.
The rooms are dated and the air conditioning unit is noisy and very obtrusive in the room. We ventured into the restaurant/bar once quickly turned round and left! Not good!

Price and quality of hotel was pretty good. Location wise, a bit far from Old Town MTL, and also situated on a run down block.

Breakfast was barely edible. Staff was super nice. Room was a little dirty around the corners where they had now vacuumed. Beds we loosely made but quite nice. The shades don't block the sun well enough and we used pillows and other things so we could sleep in a bit. The girlfriend was a lot less happy about the place than I was. The bathroom was decent, shower curtain was a bit old and crappy. Sink and counter top was really nice. The vending machines are expensive (2$ for a can or bottle of water) and barely worked sometimes. TV didn't seem to have any connection to the cable but NBD. Wifi was strong so that's a plus. Pool only open when lifeguard is there.

Id stay here again but I know my girlfriend wouldnt. Overall, staff was 9/10, room was 6/10, breakfast was 2/10. The business should vacuum better.

This was a nice hotel for what I paid for. It was a pretty easy trip from the airport, and a short walk to one of the main streets in downtown Montreal. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and it was a lot larger than I expected that it would be. I wasn't a big fan of the food at the in-house restaurant, but with all of the good food in the surrounding areas it didn't really bother me that much. Had a great time in Montreal.

My daughter stayed here while visiting Montreal. Close to everything. Lots of choices. Clean. Has pool and resturant. Front desk very accomodating.

I love that they serve free coffee and espresso in the lobby during your stay. The price and location was unbelievable compared to everything else around the area. Do not judge a book by it's cover. The outside of the hotel maynkt look luxurious but the rooms are beautiful. I will say that the doors don't keep out much noise. If someone was walking in the hallway at moderate noise level you could hear every word. Overall a great place to stay especially if you want something walking distance to the Bell Centre.

Great location close to the bell centre. Parking on the high side ($28 overnight), free coffee/espresso at the front counter. Rooms were nice and clean, but the bathroom door in the room I stayed in was a bit wonky. Overall would stay there again.

Nice rooms, great location. Pool is nice especially for kids. Rooms have been updated although the blinds don't close all the way and let light in, in the morning.

The cleaning lady didn't do a very good Job
And there were times they even got mad at the clients that stay there
And a few of them were rude
They only clean your room every second day and
They never cleaned out washroom good

My sister and I inspected the beds, sheets, and room. Everything was clean. The floorboards make the room aesthetically pleasing but they should provide hotel slippers to walk around. The front desk staff were friendly and offered hot tea and coffee during check-in. The room we stayed in had a microwave and fridge which was very useful for breakfast, seeing as how no breakfast was included. The towels (not soft) and showerhead (low flow) could have been improved. However, check out at 12PM and baggage storage after our check out was so helpful. Overall, I was relieved to experience a good stay.

Was disappointed. Friendly staff and very welcoming but room was poorly serviced and had very small bathrooms. Seemed to be under partial renovations and other house guests brought the opinion down further by having parties or meetings in the halls. Very uneasy feeling with kids.

Good location but in-room coffee maker didn't brew coffee, hot water took ages to reach the shower. Limited TV channels and no USB ready plugs. Wouldn't pay full price to stay here.

If I could give zero stars I would. This hotel sucks. I book it through Airbnb thinking it was Airbnb to arrive at a disgusting hotel that the hallways smelled like Pee if could give zero star I would. The bathroom in the room the door was broken my son got stuck in there for hours into it could get him out. There was a loud noise 1 AM 2 AM 3 AM in the morning I could not sleep on the second night if you can Yourself a favor and find a different place to stay. Run away from it. It really sucks.

Très bien situé pour un évènement au centre-ville. On voit que c'est un vieil établissement par moment, mais ils sont en train de faire des rénovations alors on est comme dans un entre deux. Personnel très courtois à l'accueil. Dommage, il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner d'inclus.

Family friendly.reasonable and amazing big clean rooms. Room Service and front desk is good at their services. Had a very pleasant stay

Decently sized suites, close to many nearby restaurants and attractions, pool. Employees take pride in their work with respect.
