The hotel seemed like a good option to me, in fact we stayed 2 more nights than planned (although one day they did not clean the room), however the attitude of the man at the front desk (apparently I am not the only one who has complained from him) I thought it was the most disastrous, my key didn't work and wouldn't open the entrance door to the hotel, I let him know and his attitude was arrogant, even when he went to open it for me personally he took it out of my hand to "show me "how to open it and he realized that it didn't work for him either, very upset he went to activate it, we paid for the room, they didn't give it to us, the least I expected was decent treatment, I never disrespected him even though you won't win me were missing, if you don't like your job look for a better option. Was told I had free parking, filled out the slip which had no rate for parking on it. When checking out the next day they had written on the charge and told me I would be charged for parking. Concierge suggested I was lying about the ordeal.

I do not recommend this hotel at all, the service is terrible and the people in front of the desk are rude with no customer service.

If you plan to have breakfast, do it quickly because they remove breakfast very quickly and that is terrible because you either eat from that small buffet or you don't have an à la carte option.
Surely I was in Ana Bristow's group because they had never even kicked me out of the lobby of a hotel where I was staying! The terrible treatment by the man at the front desk and I hope it was just that and not rather they discriminated against us for being Latino and speaking Spanish! Terrible experience with this man, there were people who continued talking on the street outside the hotel which should not have happened! Front desk staff in the morning very friendly

I am not happy with the room service. On my second day, I left my room and found that room service had been in my room. They changed the toiletries etc just fine, but didn't take out the garbage, nor did they make the bed.

Minor oversights happen, but I found they had GONE THROUGH MY FOOD that I had left on the kitchen counter. I reported this to the management and was very reasonable, but they didn't address my concerns properly. The supervisor told me they asked the room service ladies whether they touched the food and they said "no", so the management can't do much. Who would say "yes" to such a question? It was just a lazy effort to make a situation right and make a guest feel comfortable.

I was there for three more days after that and did bit feel comfortable getting room service so I chose not to.

The hotel needs urgent rehabilitation and cleaning. The people who serve are not friendly at all. I will not return, nor do I recommend it

This hotel is very well located. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette, although it does not have a stove, it does have a microwave.
It includes breakfast.
The appearance of the hotel is a bit old but comfortable and clean.

The staff is so amazing. They make the place as the rest is poorly. Not clean but that is not housekeeping fault as you cannot get this cleaned well (beds were clean), very dated and all around the hotel needs a renovation for sure. Even the chair in the room was totally worn out.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. Close to old Montreal and the port, china town. Would definately stay here again.

+Points positifs: lits confortables, chambre avec plusieurs commodités, hôtel très bien situé pour découvrir plusieurs attraits à pied, personnel courtois!
-Points négatifs: ça sentait le cannabis, c'était très bruyant dans le corridor donc sommeil interrompu (malheureusement, certaines personnes ne savent pas vivre!), l'attente pour recevoir le déjeuner était longue et il ne restait plus de choix (seulement 2 personnes s'occupaient des commandes).
*Suggestion:
1) Changer les tapis.ils ont du vécu!
2) Mettre des débarbouillettes dans la salle de bain, ça va mieux pour se laver!
3) Infos stationnement: Préciser dans le courriel de confirmation de réservation comment avoir accès au stationnement de l'hotel (par où entrer) et spécifier qu'il faut d'abord aller chercher et payer notre coupon pour pouvoir entrer!

Unfortunately our room had an odour that would not go away. Service at the front desk was very slow. 45 mins to check in. 30 mins to check out and up to 30 mins to get breakfast. It’s no fault of the staff. They seem to work hard. Just too few of them

The receptionist was rude, and the breakfast promised did not live up to the price. We also requested a mask, to which we were informed that it would be paid and taxed.

Love! Love! Love! Great place! Great price! At only 100$ for a 1 bedroom downtown is a huge deal!
Will always be coming back here in the future

Checked in on July 17th, the lady at the front desk gave us tons of attitude and was rather rude. But the other gentleman was really nice and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean and spacious

Location is the only reason I gave 1 star. Our room was dark and depressive. Outdated and gloomy. No possibility to open the window. Cleanliness needs improvement! Number one in hospitality is towels and bed linens. Both were old and overused. Where is no hood in the kitchen, so when ladies are preparing breakfast, smoke from fried bacon is everywhere and it is starting the fire alarm in the kitchen non stop. Little plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion! Really!? A lot of hotels moved away from this. We paid 700+ dollars for 4 nights and parking. I would except much more for this price.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, couch in the hotel is torn and dirty, they call this 3 star hotel. There was very little light in half of the room. Parking is cramped and expensive.

This hotel is simply the worst. Staff is very irritated with you when conversing, especially the older lady at the reception. The room was FULL of bugs. Spider webs everywhere and honestly made my skin crawl. Room looked like it was something out of the 80's. Couch was sinking and every piece of furniture was definitely older than I am.i definitely do not recommend coming to this hotel.

Tis has been one of my worst experience. Check in was terrible and chaotic! The room is a make shift in a sense that they placed the sofa inside a private room while placed 2 queen beds at the kitchenette. Its an old poorly maintained hotel. Its just not worth it. Did i mention fruit flies. Just dont!

This hotel is providing much much more than its 3 star, the service exceeds 5 star hotels, the reception is very cooperative especially Ms. Karina and Barbra they are amazing, I really recommend you to stay, the location is amazing close to downtown, I do recommend to reserve your car parking because it's not easy to find in Montreal and their parking is spacious but needs early reservation. The rooms are cozy and very spacious compared to 90% of other hotels in Montreal, Im writing based on long experiences in all types of hotels and sure I will come back
