Hôtel Le Château de pierre

Interesting concept. A cross between airb&b and a frat house. I kept waiting for John Beluschi to burst through the door.
I understand the idea of trying to make more money for less work, but there is a limit.
Web site states they have a "baggage service". Not true. They have a common kitchen area where you can dump bags. Not secure with an unmonitored IP camera.
If you arrive a minute before check in, your room will not open, despite being ready.
The renovation work gave me the impression the owners had done it themselves with materials from a closing down sale. It made me worried about touching the electrics.
Cleaning left a bit to be desired. However, linen was clean.
I have never felt such pain for a building before. So much potential, so little realised.

I loved staying here! I went to Quebec for my birthday. The position is right next to the chateau Frontenac and easily accessible to all vieux Quebec where there are multiple shops and restaurants:)
The room and the place in general was very clean, organized and beautiful. If you go by car there is a paying parking nearby because in that area is of course harder to park:)
The owners were always checking if we needed something so it was helpful for anything we were not sure about.

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for 3 nights. The check-in was hassle free. The room was very clean. Daily cleaning service was provided. There's a full service kitchen in the basement.
We had the room with the balcony, which overlooks the majestic Frontenac as well the river. The location of the hotel is also very good, not in the middle of the bustling area, but just a 2 min walk away.
Overall, a highly recommended experience

The Chateau de Pierre was a great choice for our trip to Quebec City. The room was clean and well appointed and the location was amazing. The hotel is contactless which I was initially worried about, but they are in touch continuously and are only a phone call away. It's within walking distance to so many things including Le Chateau Frontenac, the Citadel, shopping, and many restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location 2 minutes away from the heart of Vieux-Quebec. There is a beautiful "chateau" decor inside. The communication was timely and the team was quick to answer all questions. The check-in instructions were clear. The team went above and beyond by bringing a blow-dryer outside of the regular reception hours. I recommend! On top they offered discounted breakfast at La Bûche restaurant which was an amazing experience on its own.
