JUST DON'T STAY HERE! PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW
"one" of the worst hotels I have stayed at. Hockey tournament weekend. (3 hotels min per season for the last 8yrs) and numerous hotels for personal and business travel.

We arrived on Thursday night. Was told by tournament organizers that we had been assigned updated/renovated rooms. I confirmed this for my reservation on the phone with Hotel the morning of the 18th before arriving. This was NOT the case.
The room was mediocre at best. I checked the bed thoroughly when I arrived and there was a pubic hair (not ours) on the top cover of the bed, I pulled back all the sheets and mattress protectors to find stains throughout the sheets and pillows and mattress's & numerous other hairs of other guests. Broken laminate floor tile caught my foot on several times.
I called down to the front desk and they sent someone up to " change" out the bedding. (I was out of the room at the time) They just remade the bed with the SAME bedding and the pubic hair was literally still there along with all the stains and hair!

The toilet when you flushed it had water" pouring" out of the tank all over the floor. I called 3 times about this and it was at 1 am they finally decided to come and fix it. At this time my "3 rd" call about the bedding / stain / pubic hair etc.was also addressed by the " security/ Maintenance man throwing the bedding at me to change the sheets myself.before entering my room to fix toilet. This was the same " security guard"/ maintenance man (a few hrs prior) I had witnessed assaulting a 17yr old boy (another team) by grabbing him by the wrist so hard that his hand was turning red and purple from his grip. The man lead this young teen through the 4th floor and down the stairs and in to a service elevator going to the main floor. After repeated demands to let go of the child as " he was assaulting a minor" he finally let go of the child, we all went to the back office. I will let the mother write her own review on the outcome of this.

FRIDAY MORNING we packed up and moved all of our belonging out of the rooms, to be reassigned to promised upgraded rooms upon our return Friday afternoon. This DID NOT HAPPEN. Most of us got put back in our some rooms, despite efforts from our team manager on promises made by tournament organizers in communication with hotel.
FRIDAY NIGHT.when I arrived back in our room along with a few others the smell of some sort of gas / propane hit you like a wall in the rooms. Called front desk and had some guy come up pretending like he was all over it and yet did not see him again for several hours after that! It was at least 4+hrs before there was any sort of communication that the problem had" been resolved ", and that was only because I went to the front desk for answers.the smell still lingered in the rooms for hours after with the doors being left open to air the room out.

A young family a few doors down with 3 kids had to stay in the hall to protect there belongings in the room and camped out in hallway for hrs eating pizza on the floor, sitting on rolling desk chairs or standing.

During all of this my toilet started to over flow from the bowl this time and I called down to front desk and they had maintenance come to my room and HANDED me a plunger to unclog the toilet myself!

SATURDAY /SUNDAY MORNING BREAKFAST. Included with our tournament fee apparently. It was a joke. Powdered eggs, dry homefries, dry ham that was shredded and sausages.
NO pancakes, waffles, bacon, muffins or croisants, and no cereal for kids. If you didn't have a voucher and wanted to add a sibling to this buffet it was an extra charge of $35.00
ELEVATORS. Always a line to get on in the Lobby, long waits as there are only 4 for 26 floors.
Trying to check out on Sunday AM with our carts took close to 30 min to get down to the lobby.
PARKING $25 per night and a couple of blocks to get to your vehicle, not so bad in summer but in -20 with Windchill not so much

Très bel endroit. Piscine et spa. Belle chambre. Personel très gentil! À quelques minutes de marche du château Frontenac et des attraits touristique. C'est ma 2ièm visite et sûrement pas ma dernière!

Superbe hôtel. Nous avons été enchanté dès les premiers instants avec un très bon accueil à la réception. (Un peu moins par le valet qui ne donnait aucune information). Notre femme de chambre (15e étage) est très professionnelle, discréte et soigneuse. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec une vue magnifique sur les plaines d'Abraham ou sur le château. Pas de petit déjeuner offert mais restaurant le Cochon Dingue au rez de chaussée. Au dernier étage, le restaurant O'Ciel pour un bon repas avec une vue à 360°. De plus l'hôtel est très bien situé.
Il y a une petite piscine, un spa et des équipements sportifs.
Calme dans l'ensemble.si les autres clients sont respectueux. Ce n'était pas le cas de notre voisin d'un soir, qui à 2h du matin avait décidé d'écouter de la musique à fond!
Bref, nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel!

Assez ordinaire comme hôtel. J'y ai passé une semaine complète. Il n'y avait pas de bouchons de bains et plusieurs prises électriques étaient brisées ou non fonctionnelles. La qualité du Wi-Fi est médiocre comparée aux autres hôtels du même genre.

Je me recommande pas à moins que vous n'ayez pas d'autres alternatives

We travelled to Quebec City to spend one night exploring a new city we’ve never visited. There was a group of nearly 15 of us, occupying 7 rooms. Are first impression of the lobby was very grand and old fashion style but in a luxury way! Unfortunately this first impression was ruined by the valet hurrying us along stating our truck would not fit in there parking (he said this hastily while walking backwards away from us). We were left to find overnight parking in a unfamiliar city (this came to be difficult to find). We started to unload our suitcases outside of the hotel rather then having to walk with them from the parking lot we found one street over. As we were starting to unload, another valet rudely rushed over and said what are you doing you can’t park here, we stated “we know we were already told” he then replied “oh ok” and walked away. FIRST IMPRESSION WAS OFF TO A GREAT START. We all then went to our separate rooms to check in drop our luggage off so we could start our vacation. Walking into the room first glance, it was nice, old fashion, as well we were on the top floor, facing Old Quebec so the view was spectacular. But after further investigation the room was not old fashion it was just old, and sadly dirty. There was a mystery brown liquid thrown on to two walls. The vents were coated with thick dust, and best of all there was actual you know what stuck to the inside bowl of the toilet. We went back down to the lobby and met up with the rest of our group. After discussing with them we learned that all of our rooms had similar problems. One couple did go up to the check in desk complain and was moved to a different room (the new room was still not up to standards). So we went on to enjoy our short stay outside of the Hotel le Concorde before moving onto the next city we were visiting. When checking out the next morning and was asked how our stay was I did inform the man that it was the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I even showed him the photos for proof. He asked why I didn’t make this known shortly after checking in. I explained that it wasn't just our room it was all of our groups room so I didn’t see the point in making it aware at the time because it seemed like it was a recurring thing in every room. I just wanted to make them aware when leaving, I also didn’t bring the matter up, I was asked and I gave my honest opinion. He was short with me. I wasn't expecting a discounted rate, but an apologize would have been appreciated. Besides the dirty over priced hotel room there was some positives of our short stay here! The hotel is conveniently located on the corner of a busy street full of restaurants and bars. You can follow this street straight down to Old Quebec. My husband & I also had breakfast at the hotel in the restaurant in the lobby, we both enjoyed the breakfast poutine it was lovely! Would I recommend the Hotel le Concorde? Probably not there is so many other hotels closely by that I would recommend to our friends and family and will also be checking out if we’re ever lucky enough to visit this charming city again!

Le hall est très sympathique et le personnel sympathique mais grosse déception dans la chambre, fuite d’eau du climatiseur du dessus, pas de service de ménage entre les deux nuits

Les chambres ont besoin d'amour, c'est resté figé en 1992. Déco vieillo et c'est defraichi.très poussiéreux sur les meubles, et les rideaux.

Les lits sont confortables et la vue (16e étage) magnifique.

La piscine a une grosse cerne noir tout le tour, et l'ambiance est "drabe".

A l'accueil aucune explication concernant les services de l'hôtel.

Super endroit, le personnel très gentil. Le petit souci, nous avons demandé un remplacement de serviette et de papier toilettes et nous avons été oublié. Ceci dit, le lendemain du FEQ c'est probablement normale et nous reviendrons l'an prochain.

Désuet! Les têtes de lits sont sale ou tâcher les divans sont presque sur la jute les rideaux sale.plus que du pour des travaux! Très déçu

I had a wonderful experience staying in this hotel. It was situated closed to the park and restaurants but it was quite with no noise from the street. We were on the 16th floor with the nice view. If I had to do it again I would pay extra with the view facing old Quebec city-Fairmont. The view was beautiful, the park was beautiful, the walk was nice to the old city. Happy Thanksgiving Quebec city.

Beaucoup de poussiéres, lits et draps de remplacements sale et taché. Salle en mauvaise état, une poignée était complètement dévicée. Polices de paiements avec des vices cachés. Personnel de service qui fait le strict minimum. À éviter.

Si vous avez une voiture, cherchez des hotels plus loin, ils sont moins cher avec un meilleur service et qualité.

Chambre grande et confortable nous avions la chambre 2309 superbe vue sur le château Frontenac et le fleuve, la chambre manque un peux amour et la réception étais mélanger dans les factures nous avions réserver 3 chambres

We stayed at this hotel October 2nd 2021 for one night.
When we arrived to the room it clearly had not been well cleaned. When I went to complain to the supervisor he brushed me off until I showed him the photo of shorts and one sandal that was found under our bed. He then agreed to change our room. No apologies were given I was made to feel that I was lucky to have a room and how dirty the room was not a big issue.
A few days after our stay we received a request to give our comments on our experience at the hotel. My husband responded and did not receive any feed back. He then wrote again and still has not received any feed back.
So apparantly it is ok to rent a dirty room.
Very disappointed in the service received at this hotel.

Avons beaucoup aimé notre weekend de 2 nuits! Belle grande chambre avec belle vue au 19e étage. Lit confortable, chambre propre et au goût du jour. Que la salle de bain qui demanderait à être remise au goût du jour mais tout de même très acceptable.

La chambre était délabré plusieurs choses étaient cassé dont la citerne de la toilette qui ne cessait de se remplir au 10 mn la robinetterie de douche qui était dur à mettre en mode douche le stationnement souterrain était payant et excessif 20.36$ pour 15hrs aucun déjeuner inclus et aucun restaurants à proximité servant les déjeuners et la vue qui devait donner sur la ville à plutôt donner sur le toit de l’étage du dessous le chauffage ne se réglait pas chauffant sans arrêt nous avons dû le fermé le mobilier de la chambre était en partie non fonctionnel, je pense que l’ont nous as passé une chambre à débarras pour une chambre supérieur bref cette chambre et hôtel ne valait pas 260$ pour une nuit.

Super cadre du restaurant Ciel Bar Panoramique, Vue splendide de Jour comme de Nuit du Vieux Québec. Gustativement de très bon produits. Personnel accueillant, prévoir réservation. Passage obligé.

Un vrai coup de coeur. Chambre au 26ième étages, vue sur le Château Frontenac (voir photo) Près de tout (vieux Québec et autres activités). Le personnel est accueillant et le service est de haute qualité. Les lits très confortable. Séjour dans mes coups de coeur et à refaire

Hôtel pas cher et près de tout. Chambre correcte sans plus et propre. Le coin piscine est très beau avec plusieurs chaises longues. Les bains tourbillons ne fonctionnaient pas peut être à cause de la pandémie? Le vendredi et samedi, l'hôtel est situé sur Grande-Allée, coin bruyant car plusieurs bars où les jeunes font la fête. Malgré nos fenêtres fermées et nous étions au cinquième étage, nous les avons entendus crier jusqu'à 3 heures du matin.

Super endroit.
Oubliez pas de reserver les resto pour souper et dejeuner.
Vous devez vous enregistrer pour utiliser la piscine qui est au 4 ieme etage sans aucune indications. Les bains a remous ne fontionne pas.
Si le premier cafe du matin est super important pour vous, verifier ce qu il y a dans la chambre. Nous c etait pas un problemes On avait le kit de creamer mais aucun café
Mes parents non plus.
Chambres moderne super propre.
On va surement retourner cet hiver voir le paysage au sommet du resto le Ciel.
Magnifique et delicieux.

The beds were comfy the price was good for close to Old Town, but room needs updating. Poor lighting and burned out bulbs running (leak) tub spout. Steel old tub with rusted drain. Advertised safe. No door on safe!

Nous avions une chambre Prestige (?), la tapisserie était décollée pour ne pas dire qu'elle ''pendait''. Lorsque nous avons ouvert le robinet l'eau coulait brune foncée. Je peux comprendre que la chambre peut avoir été louée il y a un moment à cause du covid, mais je crois que c'est la responsabilité de l'établissement de mettre l'endroit propre avant notre arrivée. De plus il n'avait aucun savon pour se laver les mains (très pratique en temps de pandémie). De plus, nous avons demandé pour se stationner dans le stationnement sous-terrain et la personne à la réception nous a dit que c'était impossible, que c'était plein, il nous a dit d'aller se stationner derrière le Dagobert. Mon conjoint a tout de même insisté pour avoir le stationnement sous-terrain et surprise, il était presque vide! Assez bizarre de se faire si mal informer. Aussi, il y avait énormément d'attente pour accéder à l'ascenseur. Le lobby était plein de gens qui attendait en file. Pour accélérer le processus, les gens ne respectaient plus les bulles familiales dans l'ascenseur, les familles se jumelaient, c'était beaucoup trop long. Bref, assez décevant de payer 150$ pour une chambre dans un état médiocre. Le seul point positif était la vue de la chambre.ll y a des chambres beaucoup plus confortables et beaucoup mieux entretenues pour 100$ à Québec.

C'est un très bel hôtel avec des belles vues sur des sites touristiques du Québec. Les chambres sont vastes et très confortables. Tout me semble adéquat pour un plaisir unique

Rapport qualité/prix intéressant car hôtel très bien situé avec une très belle vue.
Chambre confortable et conforme aux attentes.
Malheureusement la cuisine pour le service en chambre n’était pas disponible (une liste de restituants faisant livraison ou cueillette était fournie en compensation).
Staff agréable et mesures sanitaires correctes en place.
Peut être un peu déçu par la zone piscine/spa en travaux, spas fermés et température delà piscine un peu trop fraîche pour en profiter.
Et peut être aussi le parking qui manque un peu d’amour mais bon on fait largement avec.
Mais globalement un bon séjour.

Great location. Limited parking. Tight space with overall poor parking etiquette making it extremely difficult to park full size SUV or Van. Also your paid parking receipt sometime does not work. That means you need to visit front desk to get entry pass. Otherwise Hôtel is in nice location and extremely helpful staff.

The Hotel is perfectly located, 10 min walking from the walls of old Quebec (upper part). The Grand Allee avenue that connects the hotel to the historical part is full of bars and restaurante. Felt very safe to walk around anytime. The building is one of the tallest in the city, what provides an amazing view of the city, historical buildings, an amazing park, and the St. Lawrence river. I was amazed with the view from my room. The bed is big and comfortable, TV with many options including sport channels. You can enjoy a nice indoor swimming pool and some hot tubes to relax, free for the guests.
On the top, the Ciel! Restaurant is worth the visit. 360 view in a full rotation floor. Nice food, and great service. Recommend for a special dinner during your trip.

Spacious room size and enviromental friendly policy with reasonable price. Just bring own soap and shampoo if you want to stay more than two nights. I also recommend bring humidifier for your comfortable sleep.

Hotel très bien situé dans la ville de Québec. La chambre était salle, énormément de poussière sur les rideaux et salle de bain mal lavée. Aucun peignoir pour aller à la piscine, que de petites serviettes, ça aurait été bien à ce prix. Le personnel était très gentil.

Mixed feelings. On the one hand, if you are lucky to get a room with a view towards the chateau Frontenac it is the best in all Quebec city; the price was not too bad, but we did go in December so the prices are on the low side. Rooms are also quite large and bright. However, on the negative side, no room service which for me is unbelievable for such a hotel. The toilet was visibly dirty, which is actually even worse. The convenience store in the hotel was closed for several hours despite in theory being open until 10pm. Details are important in the service industry especially the hotel industry and I feel that this hotel is riding on its location and the staff does not put much effort.

All staff are friendly and perfectly bilingual, there are two restaurants in the building that are both delicious and the surrounding area is full of other delicious restaurants. It's also within walking distance of old Quebec which is convenient for tourists. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The location of the hotel is great and one of our rooms had a old city view, that view is worth the two stars.that being said, this hotel is the most "unclean" hotel I have been in, and I have stayed at many. We booked two rooms, the first room was not cleaned at all, so they downgraded this room for us to the backside of the hotel. The other room had visibly dirty toilet, there were hair in the bath tab, the towels were yellowish and hard, there were black shoe prints on my bed, so the sheets probably weren't changed.

The location is a little bit far from the major tourist's sites such as Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac and Petit Champlain, but still walkable distance that was only about 15-20 min away from the Old Quebec area, even under -11°C weather condition. There are some beautiful buildings and sightseeing landmarks on the Rue Saint Louis St, so you can still enjoy sightseeing on the way to the Old Quebec area from the hotel. Also, there are a lot of restaurants and cafes on the street near the hotel, so you don't need to worry about the meals if your plan doesn't include the breakfast. Covered underground parking on the basement of the hotel is available, which was very convenient because you don't need to worry about the snow and cold. Amenity towels were little bit stiff, but I'm satisfied with staying with them. The restaurant, JAJA Concorde, in the hotel was also good.

The rooms are somewhat dated, but the view was spectacular. The men’s sauna doesn’t work. The two Jacuzzis are tiny. I had a very pleasant stay. The parking situation was poorly communicated.

Chambre confortable mais décu car nous avions une chambre communiquante et les cients de l'autre chambre étaient bruyant. Comme la porte communiquante est mal insonorisé nous entiendions même les conversations et vers 4-5hrs le bébè a pleuré longtemps donc Adieu pour nous la tranquillité. Ils devraient p-ê faire attention aux réservations pour ne pas mettre de familles avec bébé a côté de couple. Et le lendemain nous faire dire que nous pouvions appeler le personnel pour régler la situation. Comment auraien-ils pu arreter un bébé de pleurer ou les gens qui a partir de 7h30 parlent fort et qui veulent faire un rire le bébé? Voyons.c'est presque nous dire que si nous n'avons pas été satisfait c'est de notre faute. Avec un 200$ qu'on doit versé et qu'il nous rembourse le lendemain.en cas de bris ou je ne sais? Ca ne vaut pas ça et le spa était sale car nous avons été le lendemain ds un spa qui est a l'extérieur donc des feuilles d'automne ect et il était propre. On aurait cru l'inverse. Et aucun accueil n'ont plus a la piscine. Je n'ai pas été satisfaite de la réponse que j'ai reçue. Aucun sucre pour le café aucune bouteille d'eau ds le frigo contrairement a d'autres hôtel. Nous pension vraiment qu'aller au Concorde était signe de classe.dsl ce n'est qu'au Restaurant qu'on voit un signe de prestige.la réponse que j'ai reçu? Nous sommes dsl et nous espérons que nous vous reverrons? Pas de nous sommes dsl que peut on faire pour vous garder comme clients ou pour faire oublier ce désagrément. Claridon bien mieux, ainsinqu'au Hilton.

Would not stay in this hotel again. Not enough parking space when I arrived at 8 PM. Had to park in an outside lot. The furniture, room and heating / cooling system outdated. The hotel restaurant was too busy till 8 PM to take our (take out) order. When called at 8, put me hold for 10 min.so I ended up hanging up and ordering from outside. No recycling bins in the rooms. I reserved many months in advance and asked for a room away from elevators and on higher floors, was given room right next to elevators on 6th floor and could not change bc there was a conference in the hotel and it was all booked. The only attractive thing is it's location.

Hotel chic, c'est vite dit! Le service à la réception était bon et le restaurant rotatif au dernier étage valent la peine. Pour ce qui est des chambres (j'y suis allé avec un groupe de travail et j'en ai vu plusieurs) les divan étaient sales et usés à un point tel que personne ne voulait s'asseoir dessus, mobilier endommagé, poussière apparente sur le plancher et les abats jours de lampe. Une collègue avait une bouteille de bière ouverte dans le frigidaire à son arrivée. La bouteille y est rester durant les 3 jours de notre séjour. 2 des 4 ascenseurs ne fonctionnait pas. Nous n'y retourneront pas c'est certain. De biens plus beaux hôtels au même prix dans Québec.

If I could give no stars at all, I would. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms had great views, some staff were friendly, however the cleanliness of the rooms need to be investigated. There were dead bugs behind the bed, dust & dirt under the bed, & mould in the bathroom. The cleaning staff need training. There were no garbage bags in the bins, but the bins should be washed out after each guest's stay. Yuk! I do not recommend anyone staying in this hotel.

I usually travel on my own as many people do these days. Hotels need to start recognizing this fact.

If I am a single traveller, why am I paying the same as a couple or a family of 4? I only need one bed. Please don't shove me into the corner room with no view and also near a very noisy ice machine or during my stay at this hotel I was under a room that was under construction so constant drilling noises.

I think this is why Air BnB has been a success. Hotels, especially the chain hotels, have failed to change to accommodate the "new" traveller. Not everyone staying at a hotel has a business account or is travelling for business & therefore should not be paying full price, especially for disgusting rooms.

The hotel furnishings were something out of the 1970's and not only that, but even the fact they were outdated, the couch in my room was stained and appeared had not been cleaned in a number of years. Some of The front desk staff appeared to be annoyed when asked for even the simplest of items. The restaurant is very small for the size of the hotel and the restaurant wait staff appeared to be overwhelmed when attempting to serve customers, in one instance I had to wait for over15mins for a wait staff to even come to take our order and then it took another 15 - 20 to receive our order.
All in all I will not be returning to this hotel again.

Très cher pour un hôtel de cet envergure. Chambre des année 90. Finition croche et poussiéreuse. Les élément dans la chambre sont très usé: bol de toilette, table de chevet, fauteuil et ventilation. Le lit qui est défoncé qui nous ramène vers le centre. A la piscine aucun entretien. Les bassins sont chloré a en brûler les yeux. Les spa son pleins de mousse poilue. Un seul assenceur sur 4 de fonctionnel donc une file de 15 min seulement pour monter à l'étage des chambre et à force de lire les commentaire c'est comme ça depuis plusieurs semaines. 200$/nuit plus 25$ de parking qui se trouve à l'extérieur de l'hôtel. Très déçu.
