Hôtel Le Roberval

J'ai été impressionné! Un hôtel simple, très bien situé et particulièrement calme! Point important la cuisinette, tout équipé, est séparé de la chambre.
Merci spécial à Marie Thérèse, réception, pour la gentillesse de l'accueil

Accueil froid et chambre vieillissante mais correct. En revanche l'isolation avec la rue est catastrophique. Attendez-vous à entendre des ambulances et voitures de polices toute la nuit.

Très belle endroit pour passer un week-end a Mtl très propre excellent service a quelque centaine de mètre du vieux Mtl

Hôtel très bien placé dans le centre de montreal. J'ai eu une chambre côté rue avec balcon, au dernier étage. J'avais une vue magnifique sur la grande roue du vieux port.
Le personnel est très sympathique et professionnel.
Le lit est très confortable et la chambre très jolie

This is an older "suites" style of hotel. The room I had was spacious with 2 queen beds, desk, Kitchenette sink and fridge. Prices for Hotel rooms in Montréal are through the roof expense but here it was about $100 less.
Don't expect any high end chain hotel experience here, but the rooms were clean and quiet. A continental breakfast was also included! I will probably stay here again.

Finally, if you have a standard shift car you may want to avoid their parking garage as it has VERY steep inclines.

For a 3 star hotel, this was a fantastic place to stay. Not too far from anything around Montreal, and room was very spacious and clean. Staff is polite, and breakfast was pretty good too. Definitely recommend!

Very bad experience: overpriced for the quality, understaffed, undertrained personnel, smelly rooms, incredibly old and cheap furniture and home appliances. Everything looks kind of creepy there. Not recommended.

Great hotel. Had one of the most comfortable beds we have ever tried. The area can get a bit weird because there is sketchy characters but overall it’s very convenient to the train and to walk around anywhere. Hotel itself was great and even comes with free breakfast. Highly recommend.

A little drab, needs an urgent brighten- up.no housekeeping for longer stays unless requested.sparse supply of towels and pillows (3 supplied for a 2 guest room). Needs more supplies in kitchenette (can opener, tea-towels, cutting equipment/ board, paper towel, etc). We found sealed windows didn't allow fresh air which made the room (a good sized room) to be stuffy and oppressive.air conditioning unit in awkward place to bed access.
Positive; good central location to city, Metro, bus terminal. Clean.

Check-In was great, the folks at the front desk were friendly, polite, and helpful.

The Room was larger than I was expecting and clean, the bed was super comfortable, the kitchenette was well-stocked, and the shower was surprisingly powerful!

The price was reasonable, and a great deal for the size and quality of the room. I think I've found my new go-to hotel.in Montreal.

Je trouve 2 points positifs: la proximité avec le métro et le service petit déjeuner du matin mais c'est tout. Nous avons réservé une chambre pour 4 avec cuisine et laissez moi vous en parler. Pour 4 personnes, seulement 2 chaises pour manger à table, la cuisine peu équipée (nous n'avions que 3 couteaux, pas de passoire). La chambre n'était pas très propre à notre arrivée, j'ai trouvé un cheveux sur le lit et les serviettes de douche, le tapis de douche plein de noir (comme les moisissures que l'on peut retrouver dans les salles de bain). Le pomeau de douche nous a lâché peu après notre arrivée où il nous tombait dessus quand nous devions ouvrir le robinet. Au moment du check out, nous avons du attendre un moment car personne a l'accueil. Pour le prix que l'on a payé, je suis vraiment déçue de mon sejour dans cet hôtel.

We had a horrible experience with hotel.we stayed in the hotel and parked our car near to the parking lot they suggested to us. And some one stolen our car from there. The hotel does not have a parking.
When we informed the police and the hotel the said this is usual in that parking area.many cars are stolen from there. Be careful.

We had a horrible time we had to park our car somewhere so we went to the hotels parking lot first we thought it was good but then the next morning OUR CAR WAS STOLEN. We called the police and informed that our car was stolen and the hotle said it usually that cars get stolen if they said that in the beginning we would never park there. Also the food is all dry and most of the food is not that fresh but somethings are. The room is small and not that good over all. If I could rate this hotel 0 stars I would worst experience in my life.

Séjour très agréable à l’hôtel, les chambres sont modernes, nous avions réservé pour 3 et nous avons eu 2 grands lits doubles avec 2 espaces pour dormir, 1 salon/cuisine et une salle de bain. Le petit déjeuné est très complet et jusqu’à 11h! Le personnel est gentil et serviable. De plus l’hôtel se situe à 15 minutes à pieds du centre ville. Seul petit bémol la chasse d’eau cassée.

Hôtel extrêmement bruyant pour cause de la circulation car l’hôtel est situé dans un carrefour. Malgré les doubles vitres, nous entendons la circulation toute la nuit. L’avantage est qu’il est bien situé.
J’ai un gros doute sur la propreté des draps et du matelas…

Proche de tout, chambre, salle de bain très bien. Petite cuisine pratique dans la chambre.

The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are super spacious and comfortable, but the customer service is lousy, specifically from Brayan who was not friendly and cordial and apart from that we tried to make 2 additional charges and we had to call the manager and ask for camera recordings. Brayan's personal presentation is not adequate to serve people and the logistics of the parking lot are impractical and tangled.

We stayed here for the Canadian GP weekend. It was a last minute decision and no other hotels were available but we were amazed at this hotel! Check in was super convenient and they had goodies for guests to snack on. Hotel room was bigger than expected, comfy bed, kitchenette was available which is a plus and we definitely used it and normal bath! Morning breakfast had so many delicious options and lasted for a couple of hours giving time to not wake up super early to get some. The location of the hotel for us was perfect because it was closer to the metro station than we thought, walking distance to amazing restaurants, shops, etc. So in conclusion this was the perfect hotel for us and we highly recommend! We will be back next year for sure!

Rude personell at the reception, especially the old gentleman. Breakfast consists of bread and yoghurt. Having to wait several days for the room to get cleaned.

We had a great stay at Hotel le Roberval for a long weekend getaway to Montreal. The location is extremely convenient - just a 10-15 minute walk to the charming Vieux Port area. Easy area for rideshare pickups/drop-offs, and there's even a convenience store right nearby. The neighborhood itself wasn't particularly quiet/quaint, but felt pretty safe overall.

We arrived about an hour before check-in and asked if we could park/if they could hold our bags while we grabbed a coffee nearby, but to our delight our room was ready and the staff let us check in early. The staff at the reception area were very friendly and professional, and spoke both French and English fluently. They explained all policies/hotel amenities, and we opted to pay to park our car. However, beware that their parking garage is very tight and for smaller, compact cars only - our Jeep Wrangler wouldn't fit, but luckily there was an attendant that told us we could park in the small outside lot adjacent to the garage. The lot wasn't covered, but had security cameras on site so we felt our vehicle would be safe during the time it was parked. When we checked out after our stay, we explained that we were unable to park in the garage due to our vehicle size and the staff actually refunded us our parking fee - I'm very appreciative of their customer service!

The room itself was great - a little older and the fixtures/furnishings weren't luxurious, but overall it was super clean and had everything we needed. It was a little suite, with a kitchenette area, bed, TV, dresser, night stand, closet, and bathroom. The bed was SUPER comfortable, and the sheets were completely clean and freshly laundered. The bathroom fan was really squeaky and the shower faucet was a little weird to operate at first to get it to run hot, but it was your basic hotel bathroom and was clean so no real complaints here. The room had an AC unit that operated on an auto setting, so during the night there were times it would shut off and the room would get a little warm, but it would then start again. Noise-wise, I was really surprised by how quiet/sound-proof the room was - I didn't hear any neighboring guests at all, and only very minimal street noise. Overall, the room was great!

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying for a quick trip in Montreal - the convenient location, staff friendliness/helpfulness, and room cleanliness were all really great. This is a great value, and I was really pleased with our stay!
