We have stayed at most of the little hotels around the old city and this is one of the nicest.

There is no breakfast included but that doesn't matter because there are wonderful restaurants all around. Breakfast at hotels is overrated.

The room is warm, clean and cozy. The building is a bit quirky which is part of the appeal.

We stay at hotels for a good night's sleep and great location not for lots of unnecessary amenities.

I always bring warm slippers when staying in the old city because some of the hotels can be chilly but not here. If anything, we were actually a bit warm, but we turned the heat down and cracked the window for a few minutes to get to the perfect temperature.

This hotel offered us everything that we needed and was super cute!

The location is perfect for walking around the city. Close enough to everything but just a touch out of the way to make it a bit quiet. There is very little vehicle traffic in the road.

All the staff members were kind and so helpful. They made everything easy and enjoyable.

Hôtel miteux, publicité trompeuse, à absolument éviter! C'est une arnaque. La réponse du propriétaire est fausse: je n'ai pas souhaité "annulé à la dernière minute", mais "ne pas rester vu la situation rencontrée", ce qui n'est pas tout à fait pareil:

Les anciens propriétaires, famille ROY avaient des notes de 8 à 10.
Avec les nouveaux propriétaires, M&Mme DING Feng et CHANG Qing qui ont repris cet hôtel depuis juin 2016, les notes se sont dégradées, et particulièrement depuis 2021. J'ai fait une analyse statistique de tous les avis Opodo (Expedia), 739 avis et Booking, 532 avis. C'est statistiquement déplorable! Dommage de ne pas pouvoir vous partager ces statistiques via cet avis (impossible de télécharger des photos de fichier Excel)
Je vous conseille, si vous subissez la même situation, et que cet hôtel vous propose une des chambres déplorables, une plainte auprès de l'office de tourisme de la ville de Québec (j'en ai une en cours). Sur les derniers mois d'activité, les notes moyennes sont bien inférieures à celle "globale" affiché sur ces sites de réservations que je contacte tous un par un, statistiques à l'appui (certains m'en remercie d'ailleurs). Opodo: note moyenne récente qui descend à 5 sur 10, Booking, note moyenne récente qui descend à 4 sur 10!

Service and staff were great, amazing location, room was very cute and well taken care of. My wife and I loved the exposed brick and history of the building. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Old Quebec!

Accueil froid, paiement d’avance de la totalité exigé avant toute chose.
Une des deux chambres était minuscule et ne permettait même pas d’ouvrir nos valises.
On nous a expliqué que pour faire les chambres il y aurait un supplément! Nous avons refusé et fait nous-mêmes notre ménage.
Pas d’ascenseur pour monter les deux étages avec des valises lourdes et aucune aide de la part de l’accueil.
Par contre l’hôtel est très bien situé.

Fabulous hotel with a great location in Quebec City! Room was clean and of good size. The staff were all very friendly and attentive! Highly recommend!

Clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation in the historic heart of old Quebec. We stayed in room 1 on the first floor near the front door, but the thick stone walls kept out noise, even the loud music of the summer music festival happening on the Plains of Abraham. The air conditioning was great, beds were comfortable, staff were helpful and the rain shower head was much appreciated. We loved making our way over to Rue St Jean every morning to choose from a plethora of cafes for our breakfast. We could see the Chateau Frontenac from our room and the Dufferin Terrace was a minute’s walk from our front door. We are already planning our return!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The room was adorable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We were on the second floor and had a lovely view. We will be back.

The room was clean but quite small. I can not imagine being in that small space with another person. I appreciate they provided all I could need. The decoration was terrible. Definitely a bed cover that does not looks old, outdated and maybe not that clean, would be appreciated. The location is a 5 stars.

Lovely old hotel in the perfect location to walk the tourist sights. The room was small but this was expected and it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Our stay in the Condo (August 12-16,2022) was sensational. We were thrilled with the location and were able to land a parking spot at the door after the first night (the public parking is only 5 min away but having in and out privileges was an added bonus). Situated right behind the Chateau Frontenac, everything is close by. We even found a laundry about 6 minutes away - so easy. The condo is well appointed, the Murphy Bed works for a teenager, the outside view of the St. Laurence is the perfect place to end a busy day with a glass of wine. Quiet, all amenities (fridge with freezer, electric griddle for easy fast dinners, microwave and coffee maker. It is a full flight up to the bedroom / bathroom and another full flight up to the living area/murphy bed, so be ready to climb!
Our hosts were friendly and helpful - we'll be back! It was the icing on the 10 day trip!

Location was convenient. We walked everywhere for 4 days. View of the park and Chateau Frontenac is great. The hotel is close to tourist attractions and nearby restaurants. The park buffer results in the hotel being peaceful, exactly what we wanted. The room was bright clean and as advertised. The staff were helpful and attentive. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

The location was terrific. Stairs were a little challenging, but worth the experience. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking was our only inconvenience, but that would be the trade-off for staying in most of the centrally located places.

Clean but tiny room, with some unfriendly staff making for an uncomfortable stay. Location is very good, but I will not return

Belle surprise que de voir la qualité de la chambre et la propreté des lieux.
Problème avec la douche: la douche ne fonctionne pas. J'en avise la réception le lendemain matin et dans la journée même, le couple propriétaire est venu constaté le problème et un plombier a remplacé ce qui étai défectueux et nous avons pu prendre une douche.
Ca, c'est du service.

I entirely loved my stay in this hotel. Amazing location, the staff was more than friendly, the room was nice and clean, and the icing on the cake was the view from the bedroom window: right in front of the Frontenac Hotel. Superb!

A wonderful old building with lots of charm. Easy check-in, check-out. Room was clean. Kind staff and perfect location. The only thing that would have made it better is less of a perfumed smell from air fresheners but this would not stop me from staying there again.

Petit Hôtel historique avec bon rapport qualité/prix: C'est propre, le service est bon. Je suis bien satisfait. Il y a un bel alliage d'histoire et de modernité. La salle de bain est moderne.l'agencement est de bon goût.

Very good location in the old city of Quebec, across a small park from the Chateau Frontenac

We had a great time at this hotel, everything was awesome, the staff was courteous and nice, the rooms were clean and so beautiful we had to take pictures! We will go back again. The decor is very charming, it’s like the old days when Quebec was just beginning… Very romantic!

Perfect location. Amazing room and the lady in the reception was very kind and always assistive. Definately 5 star.

My sister and I stayed in the "condo. " It was exactly what we were looking for. You walk in, take a flight of stairs up to the bedroom level, which includes a bathroom and a queen size bed. You take another set of stairs to the upper floor, which has a kitchen, living room and murphy bed. It is quaint and charming with modern amenities, which is exactly what we wanted. There is a small park which separates it from the Frontenac, and the location allowed us to walk anywhere we wanted to go very easily. I can't speak to any of the other rooms, but we loved our "condo. " If stairs are hard for you, they do have other rooms on lower levels.

Location is 5/5. But that’s pretty much all it has going for it. Not soundproof at all. Bed creaked and wasnt very comfortable. Room was a big letdown and very small, did not match the photos online. I’m sure the other rooms are significantly better but room 15 was not worth the stay, especially for the price. Lady infront was pleasant and the room was clean, no issues there. Air conditioning worked well thankfully. I don’t recommend and wont be staying again. Take care and thanks for your hospitality.

The location is beautiful. The building is lovely but the maintenance needs to be improved. There was no knob on the shower controls, just a screw sticking up. There was debris and hair in on the floor between the sink and the wall. There was blue toothpaste on the wall next to the sink. I got the feeling that if they left rather obvious dirt such as this, what were they leaving that I did not notice. They did not clean the room during the days we were there and when I asked for our 2 washcloths to be replaced the clerk seemed put out. There was no instruction as to our trash so it just piled up in the room. Also, the coffee etc were never replenished and no offer or instructions on how to replace.

Right across the park from the Chateau Frontenac, close to lots of nice shops and restaurants. The bed was comfy, and the building has lots of character. Be aware that there's no elevator, (great spiral staircase!), and the room was small, but had all I needed, including full bathroom. My bed was never made during my stay - likely because at the times I left there was no one at the desk to inform of my departure, as requested by the sign on the wall.
Another minor quibble-I couldn't figure out how to open the window to my little balcony.

We stayed in the 'small double room' in May and had a very pleasant experience. Although this particular room choice is snug, it felt warm and inviting, with a beautiful little balcony where we had the provided coffee in the morning. Little thoughts like milk provided in the fridge, decent coffee pods, and easy to use AC/Heat were welcomed. Very clean and well kept, staff were helpful, and the overall feel was consistent with the history surrounding this hotel. Our goal was to feel like we were really taking in the culture of Old Quebec, and this place delivered! A nice short walk to water views, and all the restaurants you'll need.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference in the Chateau Frontenac. This location is perfect, it was maybe a 30 second walk away. I stayed in a double bed room. It was small, but functional. It is definitely best for 1 person. The room was clean, they supplied soap, qtips, and cotton pads in the bathroom. The biggest downside of this hotel is the lack of safety features. There is not always a front desk person. The rooms have physical keys with the hotel name and room number. The doors have a chain lock, but are oddly shaped so they don't fit an external lock for added protection. The balcony doors also don't lock very intuitively. The peap hole does not have a cover, but lucky I brought something to cover it. There is no safe in the rooms, so I brought my expensive belongings with me out of the hotel. That being said, I didnt feel unsafe and the street near the hotel is closely guarded by a security guard. If you are looking for a place to stay for buisiness or just to be in the heart of Quebec city, I would definitely recommend this hotel

We were very happy to stay at the Manoir Sur Le Cap for our first visit to Quebec City. We would recommend it to friends and family.

We loved this hotel. Wonderful location, decorated nicely, loved the claw foot tub in our room and the view of park and Chateau Frontenac. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
