L’hôtel Monville possède un style moderne/urbain qui saura plaire à plusieurs. Les chambres standards ne sont pas gigantesque, mais elles sont tout à fait fonctionnelles et confortables.

Le prix est également très abordable.

This hotel is fantastic, incredible service and the robbery service is spectacular.
And the terraces are free every night. The truth is that you want to drink coffee, wine, see the spectacular view. It fascinated me!

Very nice hotel. For the price paid it was very luxurious and the service was attentive. Next time I come to Montreal to stay in the old town, I will choose this place.

This is the least favourable hotel I have been in the recent time. Theme is black, it makes hallways very dark with little or no light. Rooms are very small, very dusty room, I guess room service at this place is just marking hours. There is no fitted sheet on the bed, it has just one flat sheet and duvet.
There is no microwave incase you ordered food in this winter months, and their restaurant menu is not so great.
I’m not used to giving low ratings, however I have to be honest with my opinion. I called reception to ask for help to warm my food, she was very hostile and said they have a restaurant and that’s all they could offer. Not too good for me but I had no choice as this was a group booking from work. I won’t stay here next time and we all have given feedback to our organizer.

I absolutely adored my experience at this boutique hotel nestled steps away from Old Montreal.
I initially chose it due to its sustainability rating and how close it was to Palais des Congres and an adundance of gorgeous restaurants and shops.
A special shout-out to Ana who has raised the bar on housekeeping. She truly took pleasure in resetting my room each day and had the most pleasant, warm personality. Her passion for elevating the customer experience is truly rare.
I'll most certainly be back!

Had a good stay here at the Monville - no problems, but also not overwhelmed. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is probably the central location.
On the other hand, the service was not amazing. I strongly recommend to stay clear of the breakfast - it was really basic and not great quality.

Hotel Monville was a pleasure to stay at for my first visit to Montreal! The rooms and amenities both are great, but the location for me was the biggest selling point. It is positioned a good walking distance from both downtown and the old quarter, and is easily accessed by both nearby train and bus. I had a corner suite on the 15th floor, and it was lovely to see the city awake each day. The staff at reception were all very helpful and it was very simple to organise taxis and restaurant recommendations (and all were excellent!). A little above average for price, but reflected in the cleanliness and quality. I would very much recommend and look forward to staying at Monville in the future.

Dean at the front desk made our stay pleasant. I truly believe in the first encounter, it gives a sense of the vibe a certain place has. Dean was very welcoming and friendly upon checking in and checking out. It is because of him and the cleaning staff that this place is 5 stars in my books. The location is decent as well. Valet parking is $35.

It was good experience, nice environment. Amazed by the self check in and out on the machine.
But just a bit disappointed that I went for the service robot but it didn't work and I will need to go down to get my food order. Also the room is a bit small even I reserved for the suite one.

Superbe hôtel avec un moderne design et élégant. La chambre était super. Séjours de 10 nuits à Montréal très chouette. Le personnel de la réception (notamment ceux du matin et masculin) sont pas très souriants ni accueillants.
Pour le reste nous sommes satisfaits.

Nous aurions aimé lors de la réservation que la direction nous préviennent que le déjeuner n'était pas disponible. Il paraît que c'est écrit en tout petit.
Je vous confirme que l'alarme incendie fonctionne bien avons été réveillé à 4h du matin.avons essayer de joindre réception pour en savoir plus sur l'incident elle a été injoignable.
Sinon chambre propre et confortable.

Small, but efficiently designed. A second chair to enjoy the view (and share a coffee in the room as a couple) would be nice.

Good customer service. Great location. Clean room. The room is indeed a bit small, but it's dt Montreal 2 minutes walk to a metro station and about 5 minutes to old Montreal. It's relatively cheaper comparing to other hotels around the area. Can't complaint with the price I paid.

- Rooms are on the small side
- No garbage cans outside (Streets surrounding are littered with garbage as a result)
- Homeless problem / drug deals (I witnessed a couple of drug deals go down like i was watching the wire)
- Saw a car broken into on the side street
- No designated smoking area (patrons including staff congregates across the street at neighbours, and leave their cigarette butts everywhere on the ground… which in my opinion is really disrespectful)

Beautiful view and rooms! It took us 45 minutes to make the check in, I think that they can improve the service. We order a diner and it didn’t bring cutlery, it took them 25 minutes to bring them, but the time we were able to eat the food was cold. Even we had problems with the tv and the solution for them were to change the room at 1am, they didn’t try to fix or check the tv. Plus for the location.

Très bel Hôtel, neuf, propre, moderne et très techno. La chambre est petite, mais fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Belle salle de bain et belle douche. Belle terrasse au 20e étage. L'hôtel est très très bien situé, 5 minutes du centre-ville, 5 minutes du Vieux Montréal et du Vieux Port. Près du métro. J'aurais cenpendant aimé avoir une chaise supplémentaire lorsqu'on est en couple.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour de 2 nuitées à l'hôtel Mon ville. Chambre très propre et moderne et que dire de la terrasse au 20e étage super agréable avec plein de coussins franchement un séjour impeccable

Excellent hotel au coeur de Montreal, la chambre au 18 ieme etage avais une vue splendide, le lit est tres confortable, la chambre est petite mais bien arrangé. Le personnel est courtois.de plus, c est assez sympa de recevoir son Uber eat livré par un robot

This hotel is elegant and the style is nothing live I've seen before. It was perfect for our couples weekend.away. Our room was so cozy and we couldn't hear anyone else on our floor. We felt special from the moment we arrived until the day we waved goodbye. Cleanest hotel inside and out!

As one of the previous reviewers mentioned, we fell for the photos. The actual room was tiny! And I've never seen a washroom being split into a shower + toilet area and the sink area. I'm quite a slim person and I found it wasn't spacious enough to move freely, I can't even imagine what it must be like for an average person. There's no normal door to close the washroom area, it's a sliding door that never isolates the noise enough haha. And although I'm used to the non-sound proof houses/hotels in Canada, this one was on another level! Soo if you're on a romantic getaway, expect some spoilers in that regard. We paid $220/night + parking for the ridiculous room and there was no breakfast! I don't know why y'all giving this hotel 5 stars? For what? For the overpriced rooms and no breakfast? Yes it's in a great location but there were multiple other hotels we could've stayed at, but fell for the photos and good reviews.

I enjoyed my stay. The gym is very good, it has all the equipments that we needed. I wish they have a swimming pool, haha! Also they use robot to deliver items from front desk to your door. Interesting experience.

I got to say the rooms are small. But that's because I'm a visual and went for the pics. The reality is that the rooms are small but modern and clean. For location, price and service it beats lots of the big ones around it. Front desk is awesome

The hotel is nice, but beware of leaving your car with Valet! They scratched my car. Worst part about it, is when I advised their staff - they made up any excuse to not be liable. They even mentioned that this happened a few times in the past. I would never blame someone else if I scratched my own car. Aside from denying to fix it, they gave me no compensation for this experience.

My overall experience at the Monville Hotel was amazing; except a few key elements. To start with the positive aspects of my stay: the room, which was gently assigned to me, was wonderful and offered a perfect view of the city. A modern, technological and minimalist design; these three words define perfectly the beautiful Monville Hotel. The location of the establishment is well positioned; close to the most important areas and attractions of Downtown Montreal. Also, the rooftop terrace offers a great view of the city. To conclude, the service of valet is interesting and worked correctly for myself.

Now, for the elements that should be changed or that were on the downside: the staff of the hotel wasn’t really friendly nor welcoming. Indeed, if I wanted to receive a sense of welcoming and customer service, I always had to make the first approach, or else, I was being ignored. Although, when approaching them, the services and answers provided afterwards were beyond expectations. To conclude with the downside, I had to mentioned that during my stay, a false fire alarm started at 2AM, I do understand that this type of problem must be rare and something that can happened, but to be honest, I felt a bit forgot during and after the fire alarm (same feeling perceived by other people staying at the hotel). Indeed, no specific indications regarding a fire were given at my arrival, no staff were present while we were waiting outside for news about the situation; when we started seeing people going back to the Front Desk, the staff were not really apologizing about the situation nor telling us what finally happened (I only knew because I heard them talking) and the overall situation was just ignored. I do believe that this event was not supposed to happen and it is very unfortunate for everyone, but I can affirm that we should have received indications, help and apologies regarding this issue.

In conclusion, my overall stay at the Monville Hotel was great when considering the rooms and the establishment. But when taking into consideration the staff, it is justifiable to say that it could be better.

I still want to personally thank Carole for upgrading my room and the staff for providing answers when approaching them.

My husband and I organized a little weekend gate away in Montreal and decided to stay at the Monville since the location was great! We decided to get a corner room because we love big windows and a nice view! It was all ok but we were so disappointed that the windows were all covered in enormous accumulation of spider and web! We couldn’t even take a single picture because it was nothing but dirt and insects on literally all windows.

I loved this place. Went there last week with my partner and it was a blessing for the price. It’s a quality hotel. We had a wonderful stay. It was the view for me sunrise amazing? Was able to create wonderful content

Friendly staff. Room was small but nice. Prices seemed good until we got the $45 pet fee (not even sure what this pays for if he's in a cage the whole time and makes no mess) and $35 parking fee charged to our card after the fact. Weight room is impressive for a hotel of this size. Could improve by having more accessible food options during covid. Like other reviewers, we were woken by a 4am fire alarm and no apology or even an explanation was given.

We recently stayed at the beautiful hotel Monville and had the best experience from the moment we booked, with Abir, to the very end! The staff was attentive, polite and had impeccable service! We even got to use their robot!

Definitely not our last stay at this high tech and modern hotel!

J'ai vraiment beaucoup apprécié mon court séjour de 2 nuits à l'hôtel Monville. J'ai été guidé par leur directrice de la réception, Mme Abir Sakr, qui a été fantastique du début à la fin de mon séjour. Sa jeune équipe, très attentive en tout temps, a aussi livré la marchandise côté service et attention.

Pour mon séjour, j'ai opté pour la formule avec souper et déjeuner. Le souper était fourni par un la pizzeria Heirloom et le déjeuner par La Finca. Je n'ai malheureusement pas aimé mon souper de pizza, salade et cannolis. Toutefois, le déjeuné de La Finca était magnifique. Et que dire de leur service, jeune, agréable, rafraichissant!

Côté chambre, j'avais opté pour la "Suite Monville" qui est la plus spatieuse. Je n'ai pas été déçu! Une vue du 18e étage c'est toujours impréssionnant, surtout le soir! J'avais la suite 1802 et elle donnait à l'ouest, donc j'avais du soleil une très bonne partie de l'après-midi et le soir.

L'edroit était très propre, bien décoré et très pratique autant pour relaxer que travailler.

J'ai également essayé le gym qui était complet, à jour technologiquement et bien équipé.

Le seul point d'amélioration qui rendrait cette chambre idéale serait de changer la texture rugueuse de la causeuse, chaise et banquette de lit. Ce n'est pas du tout comfortable ni agréable au toucher.

Ce qui m'a surtout plus de cet hôtel c'est le staff, le fait que c'est facile trouver du stationnement gratuit très près et le lit. Wow! Un de mes meilleurs que j'ai eu la chance d'utiliser dans les centaines d'hôtels et croisières que j'ai fait! Côté oreillers, c'est régulier toutefois.

C'est définitivement un hôtel à découvrir pour tous ceux qui ont besoin de loger près du Palais des congrès, du quartier des spectacles et du centre-ville de Montréal.

Perfect stay. We recently spent 2 nights at this hotel. We had a corner unit with incredible views. Despite the lack of services available due to covid the staff were truly wonderful. Big shout out to tiradito/chifa and la finca for the great food organised by the hotel. Will stay again

Amazing hotel! Great location in downtown, right next to Chinatown and a metro station. Already stayed at this hotel twice, and would definitely stay there again! Rooms are nice, modern and clean. Staff is excellent, we especially loved Ihor & Shant, very devoted! Unfortunately due to covid we couldn’t eat at the restaurant, but the delivery robot is a nice touch!

Un hotel excellent, la journée que je suis partie c'était pas prévue que je passe ma nuit à cette endroit puisque l'hotel où je devais passer la soirée qui est le doubletree hilton a annulé mon séjour sans meme me tenir au courant. Puis j'ai vu cet hotel, on n'a tenté notre chance pour passer notre soirée et finalement ils nous ont tres bien accueillit, les lits sont propres, le wifi fonctionne tres bien, il est rapide et la vue de la fenetre est belle en bref le séjour était vraiment parfait un grand merci!

Stayed here while moving between two homes. It is a new hotel that focuses on providing a classic personalized service within a modern and extremely beautiful establishment.
The staff is extremely professional and kind.
I received personal service and that is why I choose to stay at local Hotels such as Monville, as opposed to "big-hotel" chains.
I take cleanliness very seriously, and I can surely give this hotel 10/10 for cleanliness of the rooms and common spaces.
There is a 24/7 gym on site and you can even go up to the rooftop to enjoy the view of Old Montreal.
Moreover, I enjoyed the view from my hotel room and the beautiful sunlight in the mornings. As for the evenings, I brought down the automated shutters and enjoyed some peaceful sleep without being bothered with light nor noise (rooms are wonderfully isolated for noise).
One of my favorite specs about Monville is that it has a practical, useful and ideal LOCATION. 3 minutes from the metro station and in the heart of Old Montreal, where you are surrounded by the historical buildings and all the services you need.
Room amenities include high end coffee and teas! Also a little fridge to store your snacks and a water kettle.
At Monville, I felt welcomed and taken care of, its refreshing to see and feel that this hotel values their guests and is serious about providing the best experience possible.

Their sanitization is really bad. They gave me ‘ un-cleaned room’ in covid-19 situation. Also, The manager is so rude. He NEVER apologize me with this situation even saying sorry. It was very embarrassed and terrible experience.

The room is beautiful. Loved the decor and it was clean. However, due to covid they dont clean your room so when they called to ask if we needed anything we asked for towels. We never received the towels. This new way of business for hotels (the lack of cleaning) is tough especially if you are staying for multiple days. Overall I enjoyed how efficient the self checkin was. I would recommend staying here as the location is ideal. Its between old port and downtown montreal. Everything in walking distance

Definitely coming back to this hotel. The best place I stayed in montreal so far. Roof top terrace was awesome and the room was really clean and well decorated! A bit small but so if you want more space maybe get a suite. And located right between the old montreal and downtown. Monville is where you want to stay next!

I had the most terrible experience with this hotel. I drove to Montreal from Toronto for a conference and stayed here because the conference hotel was full. They don’t have a self parking so I had no choice but to use the valet parking. I did not use my car during my 4 day stay. On my last day when they brought my car back there were scratches and white paint on the front bumper of my car. So much that valet was even shocked. We talked to the supervisor and she convinced me to give her my insurance information. She said she will follow up with me in 2 days but she never did. We contacted them after about 10 days and talked to Abir. She said she will follow up with us. After about one month from the incident, she sends us a message saying that they want to open up a claim with my insurance! And we said no. We never heard back from her and she didn’t return our calls after!

The hotel is beautiful but the service is lacking. Was treated extremely rudely by the front desk man who obviously hates his job. Was told to check in myself because he wasn't going to do it for me. This proceeding in us getting into an argument and then once I started being helped by someone much more capable he kept mumbling swears in my direction. The lady who helped me then got into an argument with him behind the desk telling him to leave the building. Extremely unprofessional. The manager was supposed to call us back to discuss which never happened. Then we brought it up again and got a box of chocolates. A kind gesture but too little too late.
The front desk sealed the deal. I will never return or recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Shame.
