Great last minute stay for new year's eve weekend. Ideal location in old Montreal. Good rates. Rooms are very nice. There is a good energy in this hotel, feels like home.

I don’t normally do reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel has prompted me to do so to forewarn other customers of their flawed policy.

On one of the afternoons, myself and a female friend were napping in the hotel. When I went to the bathroom, my female friend had gotten up and was walking around half naked when the housekeeping knocked on the door, waited a split second, and entered the room when they didn’t hear a response immediately. My female friend was traumatized. I complained to the front desk and supervisor.

They apologized, explained that they do an afternoon turndown service, and offered us a free breakfast in exchange for the violation of privacy. I didn’t want the free breakfast, so they then stated that I should have hung the “do not disturb” placard on the door to indicate that we didn’t want to be disturbed (suggesting that it was our fault, I suppose). However, I am fairly certain that the absence of the placard should not be an indication that the housekeeping staff may enter when they see fit. The hotel is very clean and the people were very nice, but they should change their policy to mention that there is a turndown service that will involve the housekeeping entering the room (and allow it as an opt-in or opt-out).

So I don’t blame the housekeeping for doing their job, but I blame the management for implementing the policy poorly, though with good intention. As a result, however, I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again knowing that my room is not private.

The service is outstanding. They help you with everything. Just ask. Even two rooms next to each other last minute. Hotel is beautiful clean comfortable. Breakfast and coffee selection awesome.

Nous avons été pris en charge dès le début du projet (20e anniversaire de l'entreprise), nous faisant ainsi sauver un temps précieux. L'équipe s'est également occupée de monter notre salle jusque dans les petits détails. La salle était magnifique et la nourriture excellente! Un lieu enchanteur en plein coeur du Vieux-Montréal.tout était simplement parfait!

Recently ate at the restaurant in the Nelligan hotel and it was very busy. The waitress by the name of Coline was very helpful in making sure our order was taken and the food was delivered in a timely matter.

She also went out of her way to give us suggestions of places to visit while we visited Montreal.

Overall great experience.

We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice. The location is excellent, in the middle of Old Montreal and steps away from Old Port and Notre Dame among other sites. We ordered room service our first night and the food was delicious. The breakfast was very good too. We'd definitely want to stay here again.

We went last sunday noon for lunch and we were dissaponted with the service, food and beer selection. It took one hour and a half for us to get our order. The portions were small and the price was high. We had a burger and tuna tartar. The quality of the food was mediocre. The location was beautiful but not worth the price of the food. It is a place for have a drink not for a meal.

Such a great hotel! Beautiful and big rooms. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We went here on our honeymoon and one of our wedding gifts was thrown out or stolen. It was in a box placed against a wall of the room with no trash cans near it. We noticed it was missing on our last day and the hotel staff was no help. We never found the box among our things after packing and the hotel told us some lie about security cameras proving we had it. They also offered no compensation for us wrongly trusting them to protect our belongings. The gift was handmade and we are pretty sad about it being taken from us. The same will probably not happen to you, but be warned.

Went for lunch on the rooftop amazing food and service. Recommend. Few vegan options but lovely.

Music is literally shaking my room at 12: 53 am and I've called more than once. Horrible customer service, will never stay again.

Super central. But you can open the windows, but then sleep is out of the question because of the rooftop bar. Even if this is very good in terms of drinks and food. Breakfast is okay (no buffet). Dinner also good. The whole hotel is also well furnished in terms of ambience.

Perfect place in the heart of old Montreal, you can do everything walking or by renting a bike, great staff.

NOISY!
It was impossible to sleep listening to the bathroom door banging, the water flushing from the bathroom and the people talking on the terrace.
They changed our room but we were woken up by electric hammer noises on the wall.
Bad experience in this hotel

The rooms were worn a lot compared to the price, walls are paper thing you could every bit of movement in the halls. Don't get a superior king if you like sleep, as it faces the alley where all the kitchen staff hang around and are super noisy. Not very good lighting in the rooms, most of them don't even work. Staff is nice but the price is absolutely not worth it

The rooms are dingy considering the price point. Lots of visible wear and tear. E.g. The varnished bench in the room was so damaged you could have gotten a splinter running your hand over it. The staff are lovely and kind.

The staff is the best and caring, the hotel is beautiful and well situated within the old port of Montreal

Henry was a fabulous waiter down in the hotel lobby bar. Recommended an amazing wine and we had a great evening. Thank you Henry!

Hotel was nice. But street it's on turns into racing night club at 11pm. People yelling, loud club music, revving redneck cars. Everybody at the party. Ends in wee hours. If you like to sleep at night this is not for you.
Service was poor at breakfast in cafe. Choices were limited on food if on hotel plan which the kitchen found uninspiring.

One of my favourite spots in old port. I always try to stay here where when I’m in Montreal. Service is top notch and lots of nice touches like hand written notes on the bed with tomorrows temperature, soothing music in the room when you first enter, Le Labo toiletries, etc.
