Hôtel Quartier Latin

Room was clean and met all the basic needs. A little small (got the queen bed room) but did the job if you’re going to sleep there at night and be out the entire day.

Thankfully we were at the back of the hotel so our room faced Berri as opposed to st Denis, but can get loud at night, especially on weekends. Not the best soundproof walls, but it does the job given the price and location!

Queen bed too big for the room. I suspect queen bed is required for marketing but double bed would have fitted better. Nevertheless, Nice, clean and well furbished.

I liked the place, it is very well located, only the weather does not work very well, but from there it is very good for the price

Je suis reste ici pendant 9 nuits en septembre 2022. C'était le moins cher hôtel à Montréal que je peux trouver sans devoir partager une chambre avec des inconnus ou voyage environ une heure vers les grandes banlieues. Il s'est passé que deux problèmes pendant mon séjour (ce qui concernaient la toilette) et ils ont été vite résolus. En plus, y a pas d'ascenseur mais l'hotel a que trois étages. L'Algérien qui travaille la nuit était très serviable avec de nouvelles serviettes propres même à minuit.

Superb services, Very calm very humble rooms to sleep, Pray and stay. Serves city the best.

L'emplacement est le seul point positif
Le reste: personnel pas aimable.les draps étaient sales avec des cheveux dessus.la salle de bain mal nettoyée. Très mal insonorisé extérieur et intérieur.
Je suis en consciente que l'hôtel n'est pas cher, mais il y a des limites.

Stayed for one night, at 11: 00pm someone tried to open the door to my room and then at 12: 30 someone with a key opened the door and I had to jump out of bed to tackle the door and lock it. Needless to say I couldn’t go back to sleep for the whole night.
Person in reception said they were going to check the cameras and the following morning the staff was different and they were not notified about the event.
There was no explanation about what happened or any compensation offered, just different staff also saying that they would check the cameras.

Only good for location. Service sucked and rooms are pretty bad. Still better than sleeping on a park bench.

Ma chambre était parfaite pour le prix et jai toujours un bon service avec un receptionniste tres chaleureux et gentil.
Je recommande a 110%.

The matress on the bed was fantastic quality. Decent pillows too. The room itself was fair quality, but the comfortable bed made up for a lot. Great location for all the food and pub venues, and a reasonable walk to most attractions.

Si il y a un hôtel à éviter à Montréal, c'est bien le Quartier latin! Quatre étages sans ascenseur, chambrette lugubre, bruyante et sans confort. La télévision fonctionne un jour sur deux. Ajoutez à celà un accueil glacial des réceptionnistes (jamais bonjour ni au-revoir) et vous aurez tous les ingrédients d'un couchage raté. En plus, on y parle à peine le Français. Pourtant l'usage de la langue de Moliere est obligatoire dans les commerces au Canada. En une semaine, ma chambre n'a jamais été faite. 500 dollars passés la semaine pour ce taudis ; quelle honte!
Certes il y a bien un minibar gratuit en self-service. Mais le café est mauvais, les jus douteux et l'eau trouble. Seul point positif: la situation de l'hôtel, au cœur du quartier latin et entouré de restaurants.
Heureusement, cette triste expérience "hôtelière" ne reflète pas le légendaire accueil chaleureux réservé aux Français au Canada.
Fuyez ce lieu impersonnel et nauséabond!

Très bon service, je vien à cette hotel tout les jours et à date jai que de beau mots à dire sur ceux, JE RECOMMANDE

Travel to Montreal often and decided to give this hotel a try. It was conveniently located, the hotel was clean. The room was nice and clean. I slept well and would stay here again. Sadly alot of these little hotels went out of business, but this one is still here.

Choix par défaut car nous avons voulu prolonger notre séjour et notre hôtel était complet nous avons été déçus car c'est très vétuste et très sonore. L'emplacement est assez central et proche des transports seul point positif.

Terrible attention, gentlemen in the administration with a very bad attitude, every day they raise the price and tell you that they will reduce you if you pay cash.very not serious.
We ended up looking for another hotel.

The only thing that stands out is the location, which is excellent. Otherwise I don't recommend it, attentive but not hospitable staff, very poor room cleaning.

Prix annoncé sur Internet pour 2 nuits: 320$ - Prix qu'on a payé rendu là: 420$ (plus que le double de la dernière fois, avant confinement)
Première nuit: chauffage central dans le tapis qu'on ne peut modifier et qui rend la température suffocante + le réceptionniste unilingue anglophone qui cogne à notre porte à 4h du matin (et insiste pour entrer) en nous accusant de fumer alors que nous sommes 3 non-fumeurs qui essaient de dormir
Deuxième nuit: fenêtre de chambre ouverte pour contrer le chauffage central qui cette fois-ci n'a jamais été parti de la nuit (à la mi-octobre les nuits sont plus que fraîches)
Heures de sommeil sur une possibilité de 16: 2 - Pour 140$ (parce qu'on était 3 à se partager le coût), je me demande si j'aurais pas mieux fait de squatter un banc de parc ou une entrée de station de métro
