Hôtel Valcartier

Great hotel, especially the family room. Very spacious. One big (-) is the lack of a kitchenette in the family room.

Stayed for 2 nights, I give 1 star for the room, zero stars for service.

Had dinner at restaurant Safari, WOW, that defines bad food. Had fish and chips from hell.

As for the Bora park, what a disappointement.

As a customer of the hotel who bought 2 nights 3 day package, for over a 1000$ (no food included) in total, you expect some courtesy and service, not here.

The rental counter will not allow me a floating jacket for my kid unless I pay cash (which I do not carry) or a piece of id (Iin the room).
The hotel front counter was no help.

So much for being a hotel customer.

Will not be back.

Excellent hôtel. Très propre. Lits confortables. Même le lit escamotable est confortable. Merci pour notre séjour.

The rooms are so clean and nice. The whole hotel is so family oriented, and the family loved it. The reception is fantastic and helped make our stay so perfect. Definitely staying longer next time a day isn't enough. You need one for bora and another for Valcartier and really enjoy the stay. Lots in the village for dining and a bit of souvineering.

La passe 3 jours pendant l'hiver Bora Parc, glissade et hôtel de glace est parfait et très bon prix! Chambre un peu petite puisque nous avions beaucoup d'équipement mais le garde-robe était assez grand

Service: Most staff are friendly

Im used to going to valcartier at least twice a year and i wont be going anymore you cant go sliding outside in the snow and go to the bora parc in the same day due to how soon it closes, half the snow slides are closed without any price reduction to compensate, i wont even talk about the broken games in the arcade that have been broken for more than a year, i understand the lack of employee is a thing but if you remove half the slides you should at least consider lowering the price of entry

L'hotel Valcartier ne s'améliore pas avec les années. Les activités aux alentours sont parfaites pour la famille. Mais côté RESTO c'est de pire en pire. Dans chaque restaurant c'est de la bouffe acheter congeler ou en canne et réchauffer. N'essayer surtout pas le resto safari et celui du bora parc. Sortez et aller voir les restos aux alentours.

L'hotel est bien, mais a vraiment besoin de meilleur nourriture. Sinon ca va

Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Rooms are nice and well kept but there’s no daily maintenance service. The restaurants inside the complex are (optimistically) ok. Better to take your food (specially breakfast as there are no options) and look for restaurants around (within 15-25min) to have a nice meal. I paid 290$/night and felt that it should have delivered more but I see rates from $150 which is much more reasonable for what you get.

Hotel très bien, 1 resto très bon (Grill) les 2 autres horible, mais essayé pas d’écouter la TV le soir ou le hockey au resto bar leur fournisseur de TV vos 0% c’est malaisant pour leur fournisseur de se faire une publicité aussi mauvaise…

Très grande chambre avec spa sur notre balcon expérience agréable en famille les 4 enfants adore

Bel hôtel mai humide sur les étages probablement à cause du parc aquatique intérieur. Besoin de déshumidificateur du côté des chambres.
Sinon seul bémol, le wifi fonctionne mal, donc j’ai du prendre mes données personnelles pour aller sur internet.
Aussi, le resto Safari de l’hôtel a un menu très peu élaboré et des prix exorbitants.
Ça reste une belle destination originale qui vaut le détour.
